- In the 70's, a mysterious object suddenly appeared in the air of a remote town, and the people of the town disappeared collectively overnight. Later, the army also came to investigate the mysterious object, but all of them disappeared. After the disappearance of the mysterious object, this place became a forbidden area where no one dared to come. After 50 years, the mysterious object reappears and an explorer decides to visit the place.

Oregon, USA. Really great. I sense that the walker is a woman. The deer/elk with the growing crystals was a nice touch of otherness. The floating object reminds me of Arrival. And the art is approaching that of Simon Stalenhag.

There is nothing I didn’t love about this film!!! The lighting, mood, yellow raincoat, vintage autos, drone…perfect! Ending was a surprise.

Interesting that all those posting negative comments still seemed to have stayed to watch it all right through to the end. One thing you should know by now from the backrooms; if you're wearing a hazmat suit, it never ends well...

It's all very well showing us how good you are with computer animation but it fails if there's no story.
To me the way the robot and person interacted looked as if they were a couple; a playful yet caring dog running around, wanting to investigate everything but also wanting to protect his loving and patient master. Despite the desolation it felt heartwarming.

This short has good visual FX & decent music. However, it doesn't tell much of a story, it just seemed to follow the 2 characters wondering around. I read the description afterwards and it slightly, made more sense. This has potential & really needs something more interesting to keep the viewer from getting bored.
I agree, it was totally a wtf film until you read the description which gives a reference point to start with.
It still doesn’t give any explanation or resolution to the story, but at least you have some understanding of wtf is going on…
Or rather what went and still is going on. Why the remote droid loses buoyancy and sinks into the ground and why the sentiment ( human?) goes floating off to the object floating in the sky is still leaving the observer still wondering wtf is going on….
Final analysis, waste of time….just like wring all this….😁
Loved everything about it. Those that disliked or didn't😮 understand the film obviously didn't read the title or watch till the end!

Returning to a location dominated by a vast, pyramid-shaped ship floating ominously in the sky amidst swirling dark clouds, the explorer presses forward despite warnings of a restricted area. Here, they encounter a haunting sight - countless extraterrestrial pods firmly rooted in the ground.
Suddenly, a violent tremor shatters the silence, resulting in the demise of the drone. The ground quaking beneath their feet, the explorer is involuntarily lifted into the air towards the looming ship, which swiftly absorbs them, transforming the explorer into a pod-like entity. From the depths of the alien vessel emerges another deer, released into the natural world below. The cycle of silent, mysterious encounters continues, leaving the fate of both explorer and planet in a silent state of ambiguity and wonder."
Did anyone else notice the malevolent stare in the clouds at 6:33 really creepy.

A drone,a robot or a guardian angel accompanying him/her on their journey.Observant,respectful of all surroundings and each other's limits they remain safe till they near the "omnipresent hive" hanging from the sky.They note it as one does a burden,they trudge on past the symbolic heads of everyone they knew ? or an army of soldiers who tried to do the very thing they were but we're stopped "en mass" preserved as a warning to your curiosity little did the travelers know the "head field" emanated an EMP that would deactivate,destroy one of them, when the other realized the finality of his steps path, he turned back, ran,as if to flee from the inevitable.The hooded traveler is "lifted into the heavens" or grasped by the omnipresent hive in the sky no matter how they tried to resist.
Interesting film.Could be the evolution of mankind or a single person's walk thru all things material,social and spiritual.In the end he " became part of the landscape" in the head field.
Enjoyed this, very engrossing. Its very sparseness was intriguing. Well done.

A man walking. A man walking some more. Even more of a man walking.
Those bits became tedious but I stuck it out to the end and I'm glad I did.
The abduction was predictable but the finish was, 🤔unexpected.

Thank heavens for fast forwarding. I was able to skip past a guy walking thru the darkness in a hazmat suit for over six minutes then watch as his aerial robot falls to the ground after encountering giant pods then the guy gets sucked up into the air and then another giant pod pops out of the ground. Three minutes that I'll never get back......
As a content creator, nothing inspires me more than watching other creator's works. Absolutely brilliant, had me on the edge of my seat screaming "NOOOOO HAZMAT GUY!!"

I really enjoyed this film. I really liked the music that was used in it. I also enjoyed some of the shots in this film. The first shot in the film was one of those that I really liked. I feel like it came out really well. I quite enjoyed it

I like the idea, but the story needs a lot of work.
This is basically:
Guy in hazmat suit and floating robot walk through abandoned town.
Find something creepy which interacts with them negatively.
The end.
.
No dialog
No action (except at the very end where the guy runs away)
The last few seconds give something to hope will lead to a story.
But then it ends.
.
This is like the first chapter of a short story.
Just needs more story.
Feeling some Silent Hill/ Death Stranding vibes, love the atmosphere.

I'm guessing someone really didn't like brussels sprouts as a kid.
It looks like they got a hold of the models of those "sprouts" from an Alien pack (they're the pods the face-huggers come out of). Probably bought it from a Russian site that sells models of all kinds of things. It's common to find models from many movie properties online that way for cheap.

Waited with anticipation ,I though a bit too long. Graphic were good. The "ALIEN" eggs were a nice touch.
This is a story of solitude and being alone. You are the last known person on earth. What would you do? Stay in one place or wander even if your wandering is aimless. I would wander.

I love the concept art, colours and cinematography. It was quite unexpected to see Soviet GAZ-21 Volga car in the movie, but I am sure there an explanation for this. Originally I thought the setting is on American soil, but later on it seems to be in Eastern Europe, possibly East Germany. This will explain the appearance of the Soviet military base and the Volga car.

Will there be another installment to this series or did you intend for it to mean that the explorer also disappeared along with his drone? I see that there is yet another alien egg, not sure why it appears on the ground if the explorer is up in the sky.
There may be a sequel to this series, but it won't be updated yet because I'm currently working on a series of short films called Robot Journey.

I skipped twice because it started boring me. It just kept going and going without any sense of anything accomplished. At the end of it I was just thinking how to make it better. I would’ve cut much of the walking and would’ve have the human or whatever he/she/it was interacting a couple of times with something. The character looked very human but since the face was obscured the whole time I was expecting some kind of revelation about the creature that never came to happen. In my case I made up a few things in my mind because there was no story as others mentioned.
Looks like unreal engine or generative fill. Love the atmosphere. US here

@@MobileFilmmaking I'm still learning. Although some tutorials are about games, some parts are the same. You can learn to build some simple scenes first, then add your characters, try telling some very simple stories first, and learn the shots language. Start it and finish it. This process sometimes takes a long time. Give yourself more patience and you can do it!🙂

The sound track was awesome, and the story was simple, the big rhomboid Alien entity changes every human into one of the big growing faces nearby, that's why everyone has vanished, they are still there, but just in another form! An excellent mind provoking short! The story was there, but just not what everyone expected, as it was an original premise, and that threw everyone, and for that it fact alone, it was top notch! well done!

Very cool & Cosmic as you like . I would prefer this ending if it were me much better than your average Zombie Apocalypse. Run as fast as you can but there's no where to go as they are here . one regret is he lost the robot which even if there is no dialog you realize it is his companion.. Great job. I feel that ole HP Lovecraft vibe even though this is not on earth .

Me ha gustado mucho toda la música que acompaña el corto, el título ya explica todo un area restringido es donde probablemente les mandaron a encontrar más respuestas al humano y su robot rastreador , porque allí ha llegado vida aliénigena😮, se palpa la tensión , el miedo con esa nave suspendida de que no va a traer nada bueno, los huevos me recordaron a los alien, cada ser humano atrapado por ellos lo convierten en esos huevos? con que finalidad? Short films are limited in duration and sometimes rely on the audience’s imagination to understand them.☺
notice how a new one appears right after our hazmat person is taken into the floating orb? Appears that each one of these represents a new 'egg' that the aliens plant with the human body inside to 'nucleate / feed' their offspring...

Nice world building but not very exciting
Hazmat suit's walking like he knows where he's going with a purpose, then... goes nowhere. There's no point to this piece except to possibly show off someone's skill with a render program. Except the skill isn't really there. It looks like 1999 where everything looks cut & pasted in, too shiny & plastic looking, the figure is slip-sliding as he's walking & you're not really telling much of a story other than _something_ horrific happened here. Meh.
