    EXHALE March 2024: It's day 79 of yoga for me!! Something about this year just made me want to implement a daily practice. I've been watching Adriene videos for years, and this is the first time that I've committed to the whole year and gotten through February. I can't express how much this means to me, and how amazing it is to know I have a community of people doing the same! So glad to be breathing with everyone this month

      Same here. I dabbled in a challenge or two last year, but kept falling off the path. This is the longest stretch of yoga I've ever done. It's good!

      The only time I've seen anything negative about yoga is when a Christian says something like "it's not Christian" or "you shouldn't do it, it's worshiping other gods". I'm thinking, Isn't your body the temple & isn't doing yoga a perfect way to maintain the temple? Seems pretty "Christian friendly" to me :)

    I have never commented on a UA-cam video before, but I just have to. The pandemic has been really hard on me emotionally and mentally. I live abroad and haven't seen my family in over a year. I'm also about to turn 30 and am having a hard time because it feels like a year of my life was stolen from me. After some pretty depressing holidays/January, I decided in February that I wanted to do something to honor my body everyday. I'd never done yoga before, but Adrienne seemed approachable and I gave this 30 day challenge a try. I've skipped some days and repeated some videos, but I'm so proud of myself for my commitment. And TODAY it finally paid off! I touched my toes for the first time IN MY ENTIRE LIFE without having to bend my knees. I loved today's practice and absolutely needed it. Thank you so much for helping me get back in touch with my body and giving me something to smile about in 2021.

    i haven’t been able to go on to day 20 or 21 just yet as i’ve absolutely been loving this one too much. i’ve done this twice a day in the past three days, it’s the video that made me finally GET why i’m doing yoga in the first place. when done right, with focus and intention, yoga is a whole damn massage for your body, and this video makes every muscle in my neck, shoulders, and back that have ever held any tension feel SO GOOD! i’m going to force myself to continue on to day 20 today and continue on to 30, but this will be one i come back to regularly. 💙💙💙

    As someone who suffers from PTSD and extreme anxiety and recovering from an eating disorder i cannot thank you enough Adriene! I reccomned this to people struggling with weight management and mental health issues. Your videos have taught me the balance of pushing myself and listening to my body. I do yoga every day with one of your classes. My car broke down and I am making this summer about recovery and could not be happier. Thank you for your positive vibes. My eating and exercise routines are now healthy. This is saving me and recovering me and keeping me balanced I really think this is the key to balance in ALL areas of life. I can see my life just blooming and my trauma diminishing . XO forever! kebab

      Kelsey Johnson how did this practice help you regarding your eating disorder? I gain so much weight and lose so much weight in a very short period of time, yoga didn’t help me, it only helped me getting over my anxiety

    This was the last yoga practice we did yesterday before we took our dog to the vet to have her put to sleep. She was 13 1/2, but she still got excited to get in our faces during yoga and lay on the mats. This time it was demanding pets and belly rubs during forward folds. Thank you for getting us to breathe, it helped a lot. Yoga won't be the same without our sweet girl.

    I was stuck in a failing marriage and I was entirely too depressed to do much of anything more than eating and sleeping for nearly 2 years. I almost doubled my weight in that time. Well, last year, I decided to focus on making myself happier, and I left that toxic relationship. Immediately, I started taking better care of myself, physically, but I knew the mental still needed help. So, I decided to get back into yoga, and I am so grateful I found these videos. I've lost over 65lbs so far and these videos keep me mentally motivated to keep moving forward and focusing on my own happiness. Thank you!

      Saiqa Tehseen I do. I could not even bend and touch my toes because of my fat stomach. Day 19 I’m almost flat palming the floor - stomach definitely smaller. 👍

    This the first time I've felt motivated to stick with anything physical. I'm loving it. With world events being what they are right now, today's practice was especially helpful in releasing all the built up tension.

    Just went through a really rough break up and felt no motivation to do anything for about a week. It was a struggle to get on the mat today, but I did my best to focus on the yoga. By shavasana I was crying because I was so overwhelmed with emotions. Hopefully tomorrow will be less dramatic. Namaste, Adriene

    I never imagined that I would stick to this, but yep, day 19! There were days where I felt lazy to do it, but just stepping in and challenging myself to try it, even for 10 min, really changed me. I've been depressed for years and I haven't been as productive as I was before, but just taking it one day at a time, committing to trying, even for awhile really motivated me. Thank you Adriene

    Anyone here in 2021? I love these yoga practices and it's the first time I've actually been so committed to it. And it's also a great stress reliever at the end of the day for me. It's the one thing I know that will always cheer me up at the end of the day so thank you Adrienne for creating this wonderful experience for everyone.     Just wanted to say thank you x 100000 for these videos. I’m now on day 48/60 after doing one 30 day challenge and then immediately starting another! I feel leaner, stronger and happier! My blood pressure and resting heart rate have gone down too. I often feel exhausted after a full day of working in a busy classroom with busy 5-yr olds. But doing one of these videos scoops me up off my knees and into a floaty happy place of feeling powerful and relaxed. So very grateful 🙏🏻

    Some yoga MAGIC just happened during this practice for me! I don't know what it was but during the seated vinyasas, it all just sort of clicked and I literally felt a wave a joy wash over me (as she said later in the video). It actually brought tears to my eyes and I couldn't help but smile all the way through the practice! I'm astonished and on such a high :) thank you Adriene for ALL you do!

    I'm running a week behind on the challenge but am loving every single day. Even when I have those 'ugh dontwannadoanything' days, all I need to do is get on the mat and it all just goes away. I ALWAYS leave the mat feeling fulfilled and at peace. Thank you for doing this and for making it free and accessible to us all. Sending you appreciation, love, joy, strength and positive vibes.

    I had a really bad day today, disgusting P.E., a dentist and I was super sad and tired all day. In the evening, I kicked myself to do that one more thing and continue in the calendar. IT WAS AWEEESOMEEE. I'm so relaxed and stretched and uhhh thank you so much Adriene 💖

    This was suuuuuper relaxing. It felt extra awesome to just breathe while being still and calm. I will absolutely be coming back to this video if I ever feel stressed or like I can't get a grip on life. This is great for feeling grounded and connected to oneself so it is perfect if you ever feel lost in your own body. In other news...today was the first day I jogged an entire mile without stopping to walk in my whole life!!! I'm super proud of the progress I have made.

      I did day 19 around noon and felt so amazing, relaxed and strong all day that I felt I want some more! It turned out day 20 is such a beautiful continuation of day 19 and I am feeling a pure bliss at the end of the day. Will be coming back for these 2.

    This practice was so calming. After the arm vinyasa in mountain pose 15:24 I opened my eyes, feeling calm and happy, and in that moment I randomly looked out of the window and noticed that the snow started gently falling. What a beautiful moment that just filled me with pure joy. Thank you for today and namaste 🙏

    Dear Adriene, I just wanted to take the chance to thank you. I have never had a good relationship with my body, as in, I have always been too self-aware and insecure about how I looked. A couple of years ago I got sciatica in my lower back and had to give up dancing (and yoga) because of it.That has been a real setback and made me loathe my body even more. Luckily things get better in life, and my lower back is doing better and better (although sometimes I still feel it). I started dancing again, and started following your yoga videos. I just wanted to say thank you, because your lovely presence, balance, energy and smile are really inspiring and ever since I started following your yoga video's I felt really good about my body and about what I can do. I feel more connected and less self-aware. You spread love and positive energy and that is truly inspiring and appreciated. Thank you :).

    Gorgeous sequence this morning. It felt so gentle while the world is still frosty and cold. I love how my yoga practise feels really intimate on those days. Then when I practise on bright sunny days, I find the exuberance within it.
    Finished today with some of the arm/bridge flows from yesterday. Really nice!

    Perfect for today. My muscles has been tired for a few days so it feels good. It relieves and inducing a feeling of rest and inner peace. It helps sore or tight muscles to relax. Breathing is indeed very important. An amazing calmer thoughts state. It invites fresh oxygen to the blood and to the brain, yes. Thank you.

    Exercises like this one I believe are saving my life. For many years I have immediately gone to conventional medicine for remedies for my health issues and slowly, painfully, I have come to realise that rather than necessarily solving them, they may well have been compounding them. Instead I can come here and tune into the body's natural healing rhythm, stop fighting and start to listen to what's going on within. Be in dialogue with my own body. This is one of my favourite days and I plan to return to it more often. Thank you Adriene.

    Day 19 Done! :) Honestly, no words for how good this was. Here in Russia it's -17, 4:58pm and I have 30 minutes before I have to be on my way out back to work when it's getting dark and everyone is coming home in the opposite direction from the bus stop. This practice warmed me and calmed me down, I feel like I can face anything. I like what you said about waiting. Waiting isn't bad and we can actually learn more. :)

    Day 19 done :) I'm always so out of sync with my breathing so this video was a big help. I still find myself exhaling when I should be inhaling (and vice versa) but I feel like I am getting better. Thanks, as always, Adriene! See you tomorrow for Day 20

    Me all serious in today's practice ..Twist to right, stretch, bend, twist to left and then Adrienne said " and now slightly lift your corners of your mouth." Me, full focus, concentrated into the practice I found myself into a serious smile. In my mind: " What am I doing Adrienne? That was a trick! Smiling yoga .." Totally made my day. I started laughing. Nice joke Adrienne! Thank you! I was in a lot of struggle today to do the practice but after that you totally shifted my denial and it became easy and fun . Thank you Adrienne! you are an awesome teacher.

    I like that this was day 19. I like how your mix of the videos doesn't make it a mountain we're climbing, with each new video necessarily being a more intense challenge than the last. That's not how it needs to be, or should be. We do face harder and harder challenges in life sometimes, but we also have periods of ease and times when we must remember to breathe and care for ourselves. Thank you.

    Yogalicious my new word for today.. how beautiful, I completed this practice with my eyes mostly closed. What a difference it made to my mind and body. I actually felt much taller growing slowly into mountain pose. Thank you 🙏

    I've never in my entire life been able to commit to a health journey like this! I've struggled with extensive workouts followed by burnouts and giving up. This yoga practice, however, is something I look forward to! It's my foundation for my days and I don't beat myself up if I don't "workout" extra or if I have a "bad" day of eating habits whereas I would become extremely frustrated with myself in the past. I welcome Adrienne's words and often they become mantras for the day. "Invite a wave of joy to wash over you" will be todays. Thank you for helping me become grounded and all-around FEEL good about this "play" time I get to enjoy every day.

    Favourite day of the journey so far. In the beginning during breathing/pranayama, I imagined that with every breath in I was nourishing my open heart, and with every breath out I was sending love out to the universe. At this moment I love you, I love myself, and I love this universe. There would be no war if everyone did yoga. You are wonderful.

    A couple months ago, a guy took advantage of me, and I let him do with barely any fight. It was a long, complicated night, following weeks of manipulations that I only realised much later. Only now am I dealing with the aftermath, after it cost me what I thought was a close and strong friendship. I am constantly so overwhelmed by what happened that I can barely move, walk, or do the most simple tasks. I spend most of my days sitting down, crying, and contemplating what happened and why instead of doing the million things I should do. And the only thing that helps me through it at the moment is my boyfriend.
    However, as I've done almost every day for the past 19 days, I spread my yoga mat on the floor in the morning after having had breakfast and for however long the practise lasts, I give so much needed love to my body. And it helps, so, so much.
    Thank you for those videos, Adriene. Thank you for your positive energy. Thank you for catching us when we fall. I never thought yoga would be such an important part of my life, but right now it's one of the only things that allows me to keep going. Thank you.

    I always get a huge kick out of the dislikes--like who from planet earth or any planet for that matter dislikes the best? I'm not like the yoga expert but I'm fairly certain nothing in the industry comes close in comparison.

    I can't be more grateful to Adriene! I realized that I had to do something useful for my body while in quarantine, or I'd go crazy and lose any shape... 30 Days of Yoga is just great! I feel like I'm getting more flexible, strong and calm, I surprise myself that I can do what I couldn't (and it's only day 19).     Today, something amazing happened. I enjoyed downward facing dog! I have disliked that pose from the beginning, and today I found that I wanted to do it. When I did, my heels were so close to the ground! Excited to see what tomorrow holds!

    Greetings from Gray, Maine. We are doing this 30 day practice during quarantine. Currently On day 19. Previously, during quarantine, we did some random practices of Adriene's and found her delightful. Just the right amount of casual humor and relaxed manner coupled with skillful teaching and variation in intensity, length of session, and asanas. I never thought I would stick to yoga at home. I have always gone to classes, but now, I'm loving doing this at home after coffee. No driving or parking or jockeying for a spot.

    I started doing yoga once we were put on lockdown, so about 5/6 weeks ago. I just started putting random yoga with adriene videos on until I noticed the 30 day videos. Since then I feel amazing. I don’t know how or why yoga does that but it really does do something positive both physically and mentally. I’ve suffered with back pain for years which has massively improved, and today doing day 19 I can finally do a forward fold with straight legs and palms touching the floor. I was absolutely no where near that when I begun. I love seeing the changes in myself each session and I get a satisfaction from feeling my body stretch. This is something I have now found a real passion for so thank you ❤️

    Adrienne. Thank you so much for all of these videos! I started with just the 10 minute practice for beginners and did that for 2 weeks and then found this and I’m ADDICTED.     I love this routine, and I have been following you for about 3 1/2 years! I looked through the comments and saw no one has mentioned the beautiful, meditative sound behind your narration. This is the only routine of yours that I have done that has a tone in it. I'm sure that's part of what makes Day 19 so great! Can you do more with meditative sound?
    I do try to turn on meditative music while I watch your videos, but a lot of times the music doesn't quite go with the rhythm or mood, and technology also defies me--my phone auto-locks in the middle or something. I'd love to have more routines with that soothing sound in the background!

    Thank you for the short practice. It was just what my soul needed before bed. My wonderful dog Jasper had to be put down today. We had a peaceful, shaded spot in our back yard. He was with those who loved him. He was a good boy. Again, this days practice was perfect. Namaste🐶❤️

I've been so unusually frustrated the last couple of videos really fighting against myself, not usually how I feel doing your videos! Today I'm tearful whilst carrying out this practice, really surrendering into the practice and my emotions. Thank you for all the love and light you give to this world.

    Today I committed myself to the breath and for the first time I found myself moving in perfect rhythm to it, like it finally clicked... It's taken me over a year to get that! Woohoo!! (I have asthma so the breath is one of my toughest hurdles!)

      I have breathing problems too. I rub a small amount of peppermint essential oil on my mat before I start. Not too much!!! It makes a lot of difference!

    I took a year long break from lifting weights and just did yoga with Adrienne/stretch/cardio. This is my first week back from lifting and then doing yoga on my off days. This is exactly what I needed today after a week of lifting.
