    Solid advice for kiyan. Nothing wrong coming outta college after 2-4 years. Alot of those older players coming out of college now are finding early success in the league and play their roles extremely well.

      Tell these scouts to start drafting juniors and seniors instead of picking these 18 year old international players. A lot of them get benefits of doubt because they played pro since 15, but it should go both ways!

      @Timur21 11 місяців тому +1

      I dont think thats the main factor. Bronny and Kiyan are just not that tall, so everything is 100x harder for them. Were also in a different era where stats are super important and teams are looking for role players. At that height, you have to be a point guard so your options are already limited.

    • @indiefilmmillennial8338

      @Haywood_Basketball 11 місяців тому +3

      @@Timur21they're both 6'4...lol decent height to play both guard positions (some are playing small forward at this height)... people always write off the fact that they couldn't make the NBA because"they weren't tall enough" when for a lot of ballers this just isn't true....plenty of 6'7 and above guys who didn't make the league either

    • @Timur21
      @Timur21 11 місяців тому

      @@Haywood_Basketball It’s just a fact that it’s much harder to get into the league at 6’4, which usually is more like 6’2 or 6’3 lol.. If Bronny was 6’7 there would be much less doubt about him getting into the league..

The quality of the Game will get better. We've skipped building the foundation to get kids in the NBA sooner because it's cheaper for the owners and has financial outcomes for those at lower levels

    Melo is 100% correct, it's very difficult to make it to the league. I say the NBA is the toughest league to get into followed by MLB due to the minor league system.

    Yea the money thing isn’t an issue when you’re the son of Melo😂stay in college and develop. The only negative is risking injury. And that can happen at anytime anyways

    League is a joke compared to what it used to be. It used to be much more difficult to get into, especially for foreign players. Back in the day only the best foreign players used to make it, nowadays an average one manages to have a career!! Stop it!! It's all agents connections and who you know. Most dudes shoot threes, theres no physicality and defense anymore! Stop it!!
