- Today AD is welcomed by former NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony to tour his stylish new home in Westchester, New York. After closing out his two-decade-long basketball career in May, the New York native felt it was time to settle into a more spacious pad in the suburbs. Leaving the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks behind him, Anthony teamed up with interior designer Cassandre Bonhomme to create a home that matched his eclectic taste. Together, they designed a “modern vintage” interior-ornate fixtures paired with a luxe color palette and fabrics make the perfect home for Carmelo’s extensive contemporary art collection. With more space to stretch his legs and just a short drive into the city, it’s safe to say that Melo has settled nicely into his next chapter in the ’burbs. “I love land, I love space. Once you start getting out of the city and traveling and going to these other places, you realize that a 25 to 30-minute drive is not that far from the city.”

Everybody's house speaks to their own personality what are you talking about? Just because one person wants to wear a plain white V neck and somebody else wants to wear shirts with a ton of art on it, doesn't mean the white V neck isn't showing their personality, that's who they are. This probably wont make sense to you though.
His celebration of Black art is commendable. I also appreciate the rich colors of the paint he chose like the pine green and thought put into the furniture. Each room seems to have a theme too. I just love Westchester, NY!
I’m pleasantly surprised to see the colors and artwork and beautiful decor in the house. It’s not often that we see men, especially sports stars, really get into interior design and art like Melo. He clearly has excellent taste!

Literally you wouldn’t know he was an NBA star unless it shows in his house because this is by far the absolute best Open Door yet! He has so much personality that displays throughout and I mean I’m in awe of this. Show me who you are when the cameras are off and this one shows his true personality.

There’s so much heart and soul in this house! So many are very posed and someone else’s design, and that’s ok it’s stylish! But his house is made of bits he loves, it’s made of love!
It's so rare to see color in a house of celebrity... This house has style and passion! Most of the time celebs show us white walls and orange couches) I love his art and the fact he knows the meaning behind these pieces!

How art changes the entire athmosphere of the house. I love the one in the dining room especially. I admire people when they enjoy art and support up and coming artists. it is hard to find that kind of celebrities who are in sports field. Art makes big difference in the house also makes big difference in human soul. I happen to get along with people who respect Art. Actually that and them being animal lover, these are my main criteras choosing my friends. I didn’t know him much as he speaked I could see he has gentle soul with deep understanding and wise perspective. 👍🏻

You can tell hes a New Yorker through and through just by how busy his house is, which imo is a lost touch in todays interior design culture. Feels like everything in the room has a story. The house itself is a great conversational piece when you have people coming to visit.

Very eclectic tastes by Carmelo! That's one of the blessings of being a long time athlete who not only starred in his game but lasted a long time in it. This provided the opportunities to travel, meet influential people of many talents and intelligence and as a result Melo grew tremendously culturally and spiritually and he emphasizes the power of reading and learning!!
