I don't know who needs to hear this but: If someone threatens to hurt or kill themselves if you leave them, leave them. It is abuse. They are using your pain, compassion and empathy against you. If they hurt themselves *it.is.not.your.fault* Period. If someone hurts themselves because you leave them, that is on them. They need help. It is not your job to save them. It is never your fault. They are already broken people by then.
Cari Stewart my ex boyfriend did that to me in the beginning of the relationship. I remained with him. I ended up be the physically abuser which is why it all ended. We really rub off negativity on one another.. and it sucks, but I’m going to therapy and learning.
That happened to my family friend, she had a boyfriend who was super controlling, he broke up with her and said that he hated her. He starting cutting his wrists, he said he would kill himself unless she came back with him and that it was her fault. She blocked him and is now safe and happy with a nice and loving boyfriend. She still goes to school with him and says that he’s in deep depression and putting threatening notes in her locker but that’s all on him.

This video hit home for me. I'm crying. My ex did the same exact thing, except I didn't get a restraining order against him. He threaten to kill me, literally pointed a gun at me and said " If I cant't have you, nobody will." He showed me that the gun was loaded and shot the ground and I'm soooo glad there were houses around (we were in a hiking trail) because they heard the gun shot and called the police. Once the officer arrived I felt so relieved I went back into my car grabbed my phone (that he told me to leave in the car) and blocked him on everything. It took him about 6 months for him to understand that I didn't want anything to do with him and I haven't heard a thing about him since.

The “recognizing the way he texts” thing absolutely makes sense! This creepy guy that I blocked followed me on a different Instagram account under a different name to try to talk to me and I knew it was him because of the way he was texting!
I have finally found someone that has gone through something I did aswell. I still remember videos he used to send me carving my name onto his skin and putting salt on it and screaming, the image and sound is stuck inside my head to this day. I went through the same thing!! My restraining order only lasted 3 years. It ended this year and he literally counted down the days so he can harass me again. He thinks I had his baby and literally had me served to court to try to get custody of this "baby"

It’s definitely not sociopathy, it is most likely better categorized by borderline personality issues, one of the big hallmarks for BPD is an intense fear of abandonment and impulsivity. Sociopathy would be Antisocial personality and that is characterized by lack of empathy.
Amanda Siple people way overuse BPD..... it’s a huge range of different symptoms not just fear of abandonment....just about everyone you meet has/had at least one symptom of BPD.... again it’s a broad range of symptoms not only checking off a couple and calling it BPD. All it’s doing is further stigmatizing and demonizing it...... people with BPD are more likely to hurt themselves than hurt others FYI. (Coming from someone with actual diagnosed BPD) smh

A lot of these relationships start out normal and they grow a connection with you before they start the abuse. I hope you or people that you love never have to go through an abusive relationship.
I had stalking situation yesterday, and the man (who is about age of my dad..) took picture of me when I was walking to my boyfriends house, like he passed me couple of times. And when I was near my boyfriends house he honked at me and took a picture, btw like I wasn't in any provocative clothes (even if I was this doesn't give him the right to do that). Even tho my boyfriend walks me home every night I am still scared. Btw (2x) town where I live is really small and this stuff never happeneds, and I found out that this man has kids and wife...so yeah I am scared and people here don't take seriously this kind of situations. I am really scared guys. Some advice? Love you all, stay safe. ❤️
Sorry you are facing this. You should report it in person so it's on record. If you know his name and address this is good info. If he is reported by someone else for the same activity then there will be more evidence for arresting him.
It breaks my heart that many women who tell these stories feel compelled to start with saying they're not telling it to get sympathy or "play the victim". I’d also like to add, crazy stalkers would listen to your story time and all they’ll hear is how bad they hurt you and take that as an invitation to try again. I found out the hard way that’s how their minds works. In a stalker’s mind, if you’re still discussing them, you still want their attention.
I remember being around 13-14 years old, walking my dog, this guy in a rundown blue car saw me and stopped very quickly right next to me, my dog was NOT having it, lunging, barking, all that. and she has never done this before. I didn't want to run and make it obvious I was scared, I let my dog off-leash and she kept in between me and the guy, he had the passenger door open and had scooted himself into that seat. I was on the brink of passing out from fear. I didn't tell my parents I don't remember why. But a week later on the news, I see an attempted abduction by a man with a blue ford of an 11-year-old girl, the next suburb over from mine. Always trust your instincts.
This is so grossly similar to my ex. He’s an alcoholic, dependent on weed, and unable to hold down a job. I dealt with him for 3 years until I finally full got rid of him because he found a new victim, which I’m pretty sure I was getting cheated on near the end of the relationship. Pretty sure this new person is dealing with the exact same shit I dealt with. (He will never change) they give you so many false promises. I went back even after he threatened to kill me and my mom if I left him. I went back even after getting a black eye. It’s hard to get away from. I would go away for months at a time and then I’d get notes on my car, he’d show up at my job, email me. Also the not fully blocking them I totally understood because it was like a comfort knowing they have a way to contact you because then you know they are okay but also they will be less likely to just show up because they have a way to contact you. It’s fucked up how it’s less scary to be with them than to be without them because it’s the fear of what they will do if you leave. When you leave they are far less predictable than they are when you are together. I’m so glad you got out of this. Also proud of you for going to the police I didn’t because my ex is transgender so he would guilt trip me about how he would get beat up or killed if he was locked up for being trans which is very valid but also more manipulation and isn’t fair that he can use that as a way to get out of being punished for what he did. Also fun fact about blocking people on an iPhone is there’s a folder for “blocked voicemails” so then when you know that you can see if they have left you voicemails even while blocked, that folder is full of voicemails.
I relate to this way too much.. I’m 13 and I dated him from August to November and he was very abusive and manipulative and multiple people warned me constantly, and my friends and family hated him, and he always threatened me and himself if I left him and I lost so many friends because of him. I’ve learned my lesson and none of it is your fault, he manipulated you, I know how that feels. I appreciate you so much for being brave enough to share your story. I admire you so much ❤️

Been through a similar situation, and 2 years later, he's just waiting for any occasion to recontact me or threaten my friends, I've got a restraining order but I have to make it a permanent one. The good news, I'm with a loving wonderful man now, who will protect me if the psycho tries to come near me, and the psycho is living in a camping car and sometimes with his mommy (he's approaching 40), waiting to find his next victim to leech of, another young girl to submit, dominate, abuse, call awful names, make him dinner, scratch his neck while he plays computer games all day, and pay the bills. That's what women are here for in his eyes. And I payed my insubmission a high price, but I'm out. I can relate to this story on sooo many levels. I'm glad you got out of that relationship. The "funniest" thing is after everything, when they innocently ask you if you could just unblock them. They got no soul, those people.
I had a similar situation like this. I told the guy to stop contacting me and once I blocked him on my iPhone it still went through on my MacBook. I later told him I was contacting the police if he didn’t stop what he was doing, then it died down. But this was honestly so scary and I would have honestly handed it the way you did.
GOD i went through almost the exact same thing. he would try to contact me on SPOTIFY (edit: he would make playlist names saying “*something* *something* *MY NAME*”)
My step mom is in this situation with my dad. My dad is abusive to her. She admits to what he did but a few days later she’d say she tripped or she was drunk and fell. But I know that we can’t do anything about it. He’s taken her phone an has control over everyones’ phones so we can’t communicate. I can’t see him anymore every since today. How can I help her see what’s going on? And plus there are kids in the mix both her kids and my dads kids, including me. What can I do to help? I’m so worried for my step sister especially as she’s been very affected by this.

Tara North my mom is getting full custody of me and my sister. We tried to tell her we were here for her and he’s done this before and she’s fully committed to him. She won’t even admit what he did anymore. I feel awful for her and her kids. He’s an awful person even besides the abuse.

Just got out of something almost exactly identical to this story after 3 years! He would randomly show up in different locations in seattle if I went out, sat outside of the gates of my house, and got access to my card number and spent a load of money... whats up with these seattle heads tho? feel ya girl

Girl, you are so strong for telling your story and I’m really sorry that this happened to you. The same thing happened to my best friend several times. I hope y’all don’t mind that I share my story. To anyone who’s about to read my story, get ready cause it’s a LOOOOOOOONNNNGGGGGGGG one. You don’t have to read it but up to you. It’s just gonna be there So my best friend, who I consider as my sister, Her first 2 relationships were really toxic but her last relationship was probably the one thing that scared her for life. Her 3rd ex was the most abusive, arrogant, stuck-up and toxic person you will ever meet. He thinks that he’s basically the king of the world and how everyone should bow down to him. The first time I met him, it was really weird because he was being friendly, almost too friendly. The whole vibe was just sus, and I especially noticed how everytime he tried to act all lovey dovey with her, she would seem so uncomfortable and look almost nervous. I then asked her to come with me to the counter and order our coffee. Thank god he didn’t suspect anything. I just told her to make it seem like we were talking about something funny, giggle and laugh. Then, I typed on my phone and asked if she was ok, if he had abused her or hit her. She told me she was fine and that I shouldn’t worry. We ordered our coffee, went back to the table and I just said that I had to make a phone call, and so I went outside, but in reality I just wanted to see if he did anything to her. So I went to an area where they couldn’t see me, but I could see them, and of course, when I saw her spill her drink all over him, he fr grabbed her wrist so hard, not only could I see her face turning red, but she was struggling. I couldn’t stand by and watch and I just came back in before the situation got worse. I came back in and of course, they both moved away and he was just smiling and getting some napkins. I asked what happened and of course he said that he had ‘accidentally’ spilled coffee on himself. Then suddenly, he gets up and says that they have somewhere to be, so of course I got up and said my goodbyes. About a month later, I was invited to this party and the both of them were also going as well. I called her over so we could get ready, but he said that they were gonna get something to eat before that and then go to the party. So I went to the place, where the party was at, and I found them both sitting down on the couch. But the thing is, he had his arms around 2 girls and she was just sat there, forced to look, and trust me, she looked so uncomfortable. Saw her, told her to follow me to the bathroom and she did. I then asked her to explain to me what’s been going on with her lately and immediately she looked and sounded so scared for her life. I asked her why and then of course I asked if he did anything to her before the party. She wouldn’t answer, so I took some toilet paper, and I wiped some of the makeup off of her neck. There it was, a huge ass bruise and I was just so angry and furious, but she told me not to tell anyone. I think she was scared and embarrassed that people would find out. Told her not to worry and if something like this happened again, to send me a text that said, “Hey, you hungry?” That way I would know if she’s in real trouble. Maybe 2, 3 hours later I saw him gripping her wrist really tightly and dragged her somewhere. My gut told me something was wrong and so I followed them and there he was yelling at her face, slapping, punching and even kicking her in the stomach. I recorded the entire incident on my phone, so that we would have evidence to show the police and take this to court. I watched as she cried, went inside, got him a drink and just went outside. She saw me and I just gave her the biggest hug and told her to cry and that everything would be ok soon. She told me that she couldn’t take it anymore, so I asked how long and you know what she said? “Ever since out 1 year anniversary” They had been dating for 3 years and the abuse had started 2 years ago, but it was only this year that he was getting even more violent and aggressive with her. That was when I knew something had to be done. So I took her back to my house and sure enough several hours later at around 8am in the morning, he came to my house and demanded to know where she was. Told him that she wasn’t here and that I brought her back to her house. Immediately, he looked kind of nervous and asked why I brought her there and I said: “Well, it’s her home, why shouldn’t she be there?” He responded ok and left. When I got to school, she was there and I hugged her, making sure she’s ok. It was bio and when I heard him verbally threatening her, I just told him to shut up or he would regret it. He just rolled his eyes at me and called me a dirty little whore. The next thing I did was asked if I could use the bathroom, but really I just wanted him to get away from her so I reported the incident to the principal, showed him all the evidence, from the first time we met to the party. He asked me to send the videos to him. It was after school and the principal had called the 3 of us to go to his office and what do you know? There were 2 cops and I think someone else (I forgot who) but long story short, they arrested him and he was charged with abuse, aggravated and sexual assault. We were so relieved when he was arrested because they told us that he would be going away for a long time. It’s been 3 years since the incident and now she’s dating my brother. At first I wasn’t too happy about it and got defensive cause my brother is a total jerk and a player. But overtime, I saw how he started to change like his attitude and personality. Saw how everytime she was scared, he would be the first person to give her a hug and tell her it’s going to be ok. Pretty sure you can guess what happened next. Yup, they dated and in secret behind my back. I got real angry but at the same time, not because I kind of suspected but didn’t really think too much of it at the time. I’ve learnt to accept they’re relationship and wow, he’s such a gentlemen when he’s with her. It’s like he became a better man and a better person, which even I was shocked. Before, he was disruptive, acting ridiculous and would even do the stupidest things around my parents. But it’s like when he met her, he just did a 180 and glowed up. It took a while to get used to it, but sooner or later I got used to it and I saw how he made her happy and laugh. The best part was when she got him a camera for his birthday and there it was: The biggest and brightest smile I had ever seen on both of them. The way he looks at her though, it’s like she’s his entire universe and I can truly see the love in his eyes and how much he cares for her. That’s when I knew that they were made for each other and that I should be supportive instead of being petty. So when they asked if I was truly ok with them going out, I gave them my blessing and wow, he fr just pulled out a ring and asked her to be his gf. She obvi said yes and I just laughed. They’ve been together 2 years and they’re still the cutest with each other everytime I see them both.
If your single please don't rush into a relationship and accept just anyone. You're valuable and your time is valuable. If your in a dark place use that time to love yourself first and then right person will enter your life. Waiting for the right guy is worth the wait with someone who will treat you with love and respect. Never accept physical & emotional abuse from anyone. It's a big red flag and if your best friends and family are telling you they don't like them there's a reason. Leave!!
I have this ex who cheated on me and continually tried to hit me up even after I blocked him. He texted my number. Facebook. Tiktok. Fake Instagram accounts. And he tried to act like he was someone else when he hit me up with a random account. I could tell it was him based on how the texts sounded. found out he would do the same to other girls. Scary.

Here’s advice for ANY relationship, friendship or serious relationship. If someone says they need you over they want to be friends. It’s probably a toxic relationship, and you probably want to stop it.
Me and my ex have a no contact order and he has a second degree felony because he stabbed me. Like...i hate to be that person. But what you went through is a normal day in my life. Lol but it could...COULD have been more had you not stopped it from the beginning. My ex still makes new phone numbers almost everyday to contact me. Even with the no contact order. He finds and messages any person that i start to get involved with and lies and makes problems with that person and myself. He called my worker. Messaged my coworker. Its been three years. He still does this. Spoiler alert: the restraining order isnt gonna do shit. At all. These people are mentally unwell

I broke up with a "bob" almost 8 yrs ago. I havent had a social media because of him, last year I decided to have an Instagram account only for my photography, "bob" found me and he has had too many different accounts I've blocked and he will never stop and because of that I had to delete my Instagram. It's been this long he still tries to find me. These "bobs" are real phycos and dont joke. Please be safe!!

I just went threw a similar situation. My ex actually ended up moving right after I did because he “wanted to follow me and be close to me” (his words). He had to pay out of his lease and quit his brand new job to do so. I finally was able to semi get away but had to have a family talk to make sure no one told him where I was if they didn’t already have him blocked. I’m terrified to even go to the grocery store alone. He recently came into my work (not knowing I worked there) and I had to hide call my boss and tell her what was going on, have someone come check my car for damages or trackers, and have someone walk me to my car at the end of my shift. My parents don’t think I have enough evidence against him to get a restraining order... so until he does something I’m out of luck... I’m so glad you got out of that situation and feel safe! This reminds me of my ex who is now in jail. He horrified me still does, I hate him so much because we had a baby and I gave my baby up for adoption because I couldn't protect him from his dad which makes me want to die because I love my son so much but I needed to protect him and if you think I'm the worst person in the world I feel that but I couldn't be selfish I had to protect my baby 😥😭

not sure why this came up on my recommendeds but i'm so sorry you had to go through this. Up til the 14 min mark is basically exactly the same as my experience as a late teen. Watching your video just makes me so so grateful that I'm old enough for that crap to have happened to me at a time before social media existed and phones were literally just for calling and texting and didn't have apps that let people track you. Once i managed to break up with him he stayed gone and it was easy for me to disappear from his life and get on with my own- I moved house, wasn't able to be tracked, didn't leave a social media trail. Even though i'm 38 now and don't feel old i'm glad I was a 'kid' when I was. You guys have it so much harder now with all this tech. If i have kids - particularly daughters in the future i'm just going to be terrified for them and sad that I have to raise them to be so much savvier than I ever had to be.
This guy had his chance. You handled this appropriatetly and treated him as a person. I recommend contacting IC3 to try and block him. He is determined to get the last chance. I have been in love with women but the minute I get a direct ‘no’ I lay off. He’s just trying to manipulate.

Cari Stewart my ex boyfriend did that to me in the beginning of the relationship. I remained with him. I ended up be the physically abuser which is why it all ended. We really rub off negativity on one another.. and it sucks, but I’m going to therapy and learning.

That happened to my family friend, she had a boyfriend who was super controlling, he broke up with her and said that he hated her. He starting cutting his wrists, he said he would kill himself unless she came back with him and that it was her fault. She blocked him and is now safe and happy with a nice and loving boyfriend. She still goes to school with him and says that he’s in deep depression and putting threatening notes in her locker but that’s all on him.

This video hit home for me. I'm crying. My ex did the same exact thing, except I didn't get a restraining order against him. He threaten to kill me, literally pointed a gun at me and said " If I cant't have you, nobody will." He showed me that the gun was loaded and shot the ground and I'm soooo glad there were houses around (we were in a hiking trail) because they heard the gun shot and called the police. Once the officer arrived I felt so relieved I went back into my car grabbed my phone (that he told me to leave in the car) and blocked him on everything. It took him about 6 months for him to understand that I didn't want anything to do with him and I haven't heard a thing about him since.

It’s definitely not sociopathy, it is most likely better categorized by borderline personality issues, one of the big hallmarks for BPD is an intense fear of abandonment and impulsivity. Sociopathy would be Antisocial personality and that is characterized by lack of empathy.
Amanda Siple people way overuse BPD..... it’s a huge range of different symptoms not just fear of abandonment....just about everyone you meet has/had at least one symptom of BPD.... again it’s a broad range of symptoms not only checking off a couple and calling it BPD. All it’s doing is further stigmatizing and demonizing it...... people with BPD are more likely to hurt themselves than hurt others FYI. (Coming from someone with actual diagnosed BPD) smh

I had stalking situation yesterday, and the man (who is about age of my dad..) took picture of me when I was walking to my boyfriends house, like he passed me couple of times. And when I was near my boyfriends house he honked at me and took a picture, btw like I wasn't in any provocative clothes (even if I was this doesn't give him the right to do that). Even tho my boyfriend walks me home every night I am still scared. Btw (2x) town where I live is really small and this stuff never happeneds, and I found out that this man has kids and wife...so yeah I am scared and people here don't take seriously this kind of situations. I’d also like to add, crazy stalkers would listen to your story time and all they’ll hear is how bad they hurt you and take that as an invitation to try again. I found out the hard way that’s how their minds works. In a stalker’s mind, if you’re still discussing them, you still want their attention.
I remember being around 13-14 years old, walking my dog, this guy in a rundown blue car saw me and stopped very quickly right next to me, my dog was NOT having it, lunging, barking, all that. and she has never done this before. I didn't want to run and make it obvious I was scared, I let my dog off-leash and she kept in between me and the guy, he had the passenger door open and had scooted himself into that seat. I was on the brink of passing out from fear. I didn't tell my parents I don't remember why. But a week later on the news, I see an attempted abduction by a man with a blue ford of an 11-year-old girl, the next suburb over from mine. Always trust your instincts.
This is so grossly similar to my ex.
He’s an alcoholic, dependent on weed, and unable to hold down a job.
I dealt with him for 3 years until I finally full got rid of him because he found a new victim, which I’m pretty sure I was getting cheated on near the end of the relationship. Pretty sure this new person is dealing with the exact same shit I dealt with. (He will never change) they give you so many false promises.
I went back even after he threatened to kill me and my mom if I left him.
I went back even after getting a black eye.
It’s hard to get away from.
I would go away for months at a time and then I’d get notes on my car, he’d show up at my job, email me.
Also the not fully blocking them I totally understood because it was like a comfort knowing they have a way to contact you because then you know they are okay but also they will be less likely to just show up because they have a way to contact you.
It’s fucked up how it’s less scary to be with them than to be without them because it’s the fear of what they will do if you leave. When you leave they are far less predictable than they are when you are together. I’m so glad you got out of this. Also proud of you for going to the police I didn’t because my ex is transgender so he would guilt trip me about how he would get beat up or killed if he was locked up for being trans which is very valid but also more manipulation and isn’t fair that he can use that as a way to get out of being punished for what he did.
Also fun fact about blocking people on an iPhone is there’s a folder for “blocked voicemails” so then when you know that you can see if they have left you voicemails even while blocked, that folder is full of voicemails.

I’m 13 and I dated him from August to November and he was very abusive and manipulative and multiple people warned me constantly, and my friends and family hated him, and he always threatened me and himself if I left him and I lost so many friends because of him. The good news, I'm with a loving wonderful man now, who will protect me if the psycho tries to come near me, and the psycho is living in a camping car and sometimes with his mommy (he's approaching 40), waiting to find his next victim to leech of, another young girl to submit, dominate, abuse, call awful names, make him dinner, scratch his neck while he plays computer games all day, and pay the bills. That's what women are here for in his eyes. And I payed my insubmission a high price, but I'm out.
I can relate to this story on sooo many levels. I'm glad you got out of that relationship. The "funniest" thing is after everything, when they innocently ask you if you could just unblock them. They got no soul, those people.
I had a similar situation like this.
I told the guy to stop contacting me and once I blocked him on my iPhone it still went through on my MacBook. I later told him I was contacting the police if he didn’t stop what he was doing, then it died down.
But this was honestly so scary and I would have honestly handed it the way you did.

My step mom is in this situation with my dad. My dad is abusive to her. She admits to what he did but a few days later she’d say she tripped or she was drunk and fell. Heavenly Father, Thank you for the life that you've given to this person, indeed that she's a child of Yours, i pray atm God that You may cover her everyday of her life, cover her by Your protection, Strength, love, comfort, support, courage, wisdom and also You may guard her heart. Keep her away from any harm and hurts, and fill her heart with Your love, fill her mind and heart with peace. Lord, i pray for total healingness to this person, mentally, physically and spiritually! and also to her family, to the people that surrounds her. I'm blessed what she concluded to her video, that it is indeed important that we must and should listen to what our important people and love one's is telling us, give us a heart to listen and take their advice, we believe that You have send them to protect us from harm! Girl, you are so strong for telling your story and I’m really sorry that this happened to you. The same thing happened to my best friend several times. I hope y’all don’t mind that I share my story.
To anyone who’s about to read my story, get ready cause it’s a LOOOOOOOONNNNGGGGGGGG one. You don’t have to read it but up to you. It’s just gonna be there
So my best friend, who I consider as my sister, Her first 2 relationships were really toxic but her last relationship was probably the one thing that scared her for life. Her 3rd ex was the most abusive, arrogant, stuck-up and toxic person you will ever meet. He thinks that he’s basically the king of the world and how everyone should bow down to him. The first time I met him, it was really weird because he was being friendly, almost too friendly. The whole vibe was just sus, and I especially noticed how everytime he tried to act all lovey dovey with her, she would seem so uncomfortable and look almost nervous. I then asked her to come with me to the counter and order our coffee. Thank god he didn’t suspect anything. I just told her to make it seem like we were talking about something funny, giggle and laugh. Then, I typed on my phone and asked if she was ok, if he had abused her or hit her. She told me she was fine and that I shouldn’t worry. We ordered our coffee, went back to the table and I just said that I had to make a phone call, and so I went outside, but in reality I just wanted to see if he did anything to her. So I went to an area where they couldn’t see me, but I could see them, and of course, when I saw her spill her drink all over him, he fr grabbed her wrist so hard, not only could I see her face turning red, but she was struggling. I couldn’t stand by and watch and I just came back in before the situation got worse.
I came back in and of course, they both moved away and he was just smiling and getting some napkins. I asked what happened and of course he said that he had ‘accidentally’ spilled coffee on himself. Then suddenly, he gets up and says that they have somewhere to be, so of course I got up and said my goodbyes. About a month later, I was invited to this party and the both of them were also going as well. I called her over so we could get ready, but he said that they were gonna get something to eat before that and then go to the party. So I went to the place, where the party was at, and I found them both sitting down on the couch. But the thing is, he had his arms around 2 girls and she was just sat there, forced to look, and trust me, she looked so uncomfortable. Saw her, told her to follow me to the bathroom and she did. I then asked her to explain to me what’s been going on with her lately and immediately she looked and sounded so scared for her life. I asked her why and then of course I asked if he did anything to her before the party. She wouldn’t answer, so I took some toilet paper, and I wiped some of the makeup off of her neck. There it was, a huge ass bruise and I was just so angry and furious, but she told me not to tell anyone. I think she was scared and embarrassed that people would find out. Told her not to worry and if something like this happened again, to send me a text that said, “Hey, you hungry?” That way I would know if she’s in real trouble.
Maybe 2, 3 hours later I saw him gripping her wrist really tightly and dragged her somewhere. My gut told me something was wrong and so I followed them and there he was yelling at her face, slapping, punching and even kicking her in the stomach. I recorded the entire incident on my phone, so that we would have evidence to show the police and take this to court. I watched as she cried, went inside, got him a drink and just went outside. She saw me and I just gave her the biggest hug and told her to cry and that everything would be ok soon. She told me that she couldn’t take it anymore, so I asked how long and you know what she said? “Ever since out 1 year anniversary” They had been dating for 3 years and the abuse had started 2 years ago, but it was only this year that he was getting even more violent and aggressive with her.
That was when I knew something had to be done. So I took her back to my house and sure enough several hours later at around 8am in the morning, he came to my house and demanded to know where she was. Told him that she wasn’t here and that I brought her back to her house. Immediately, he looked kind of nervous and asked why I brought her there and I said: “Well, it’s her home, why shouldn’t she be there?” He responded ok and left. When I got to school, she was there and I hugged her, making sure she’s ok. It was bio and when I heard him verbally threatening her, I just told him to shut up or he would regret it. He just rolled his eyes at me and called me a dirty little whore. The next thing I did was asked if I could use the bathroom, but really I just wanted him to get away from her so I reported the incident to the principal, showed him all the evidence, from the first time we met to the party. He asked me to send the videos to him. It was after school and the principal had called the 3 of us to go to his office and what do you know? There were 2 cops and I think someone else (I forgot who) but long story short, they arrested him and he was charged with abuse, aggravated and sexual assault.
We were so relieved when he was arrested because they told us that he would be going away for a long time. It’s been 3 years since the incident and now she’s dating my brother. At first I wasn’t too happy about it and got defensive cause my brother is a total jerk and a player. But overtime, I saw how he started to change like his attitude and personality. Saw how everytime she was scared, he would be the first person to give her a hug and tell her it’s going to be ok. Pretty sure you can guess what happened next. Yup, they dated and in secret behind my back. I got real angry but at the same time, not because I kind of suspected but didn’t really think too much of it at the time. I’ve learnt to accept they’re relationship and wow, he’s such a gentlemen when he’s with her. It’s like he became a better man and a better person, which even I was shocked. Before, he was disruptive, acting ridiculous and would even do the stupidest things around my parents. But it’s like when he met her, he just did a 180 and glowed up. It took a while to get used to it, but sooner or later I got used to it and I saw how he made her happy and laugh. The best part was when she got him a camera for his birthday and there it was: The biggest and brightest smile I had ever seen on both of them. The way he looks at her though, it’s like she’s his entire universe and I can truly see the love in his eyes and how much he cares for her. That’s when I knew that they were made for each other and that I should be supportive instead of being petty. So when they asked if I was truly ok with them going out, I gave them my blessing and wow, he fr just pulled out a ring and asked her to be his gf. She obvi said yes and I just laughed. They’ve been together 2 years and they’re still the cutest with each other everytime I see them both.
If your single please don't rush into a relationship and accept just anyone. You're valuable and your time is valuable. If your in a dark place use that time to love yourself first and then right person will enter your life. Waiting for the right guy is worth the wait with someone who will treat you with love and respect. Never accept physical & emotional abuse from anyone. It's a big red flag and if your best friends and family are telling you they don't like them there's a reason. Leave!!
I have this ex who cheated on me and continually tried to hit me up even after I blocked him. He texted my number. Facebook. Tiktok. Fake Instagram accounts. And he tried to act like he was someone else when he hit me up with a random account. I could tell it was him based on how the texts sounded. found out he would do the same to other girls. Scary.

Here’s advice for ANY relationship, friendship or serious relationship. If someone says they need you over they want to be friends. It’s probably a toxic relationship, and you probably want to stop it.
Me and my ex have a no contact order and he has a second degree felony because he stabbed me.
Like...i hate to be that person. But what you went through is a normal day in my life. Lol but it could...COULD have been more had you not stopped it from the beginning.
My ex still makes new phone numbers almost everyday to contact me. Even with the no contact order. He finds and messages any person that i start to get involved with and lies and makes problems with that person and myself. He called my worker. Messaged my coworker.
Its been three years. He still does this.
Spoiler alert: the restraining order isnt gonna do shit. At all. These people are mentally unwell

I broke up with a "bob" almost 8 yrs ago. I havent had a social media because of him, last year I decided to have an Instagram account only for my photography, "bob" found me and he has had too many different accounts I've blocked and he will never stop and because of that I had to delete my Instagram. It's been this long he still tries to find me. These "bobs" are real phycos and dont joke. Please be safe!!

I went through almost the same thing, except i was kidnapped and tortured, beat, raped if u can imagine it i had it done to me. His name really was Bob and i was in high school n with him for 3 years, got pregnant and ran from him!! I just went threw a similar situation. My ex actually ended up moving right after I did because he “wanted to follow me and be close to me” (his words). He had to pay out of his lease and quit his brand new job to do so. I finally was able to semi get away but had to have a family talk to make sure no one told him where I was if they didn’t already have him blocked. I’m terrified to even go to the grocery store alone. He recently came into my work (not knowing I worked there) and I had to hide call my boss and tell her what was going on, have someone come check my car for damages or trackers, and have someone walk me to my car at the end of my shift. My parents don’t think I have enough evidence against him to get a restraining order... so until he does something I’m out of luck... I’m so glad you got out of that situation and feel safe! This reminds me of my ex who is now in jail. He horrified me still does, I hate him so much because we had a baby and I gave my baby up for adoption because I couldn't protect him from his dad which makes me want to die because I love my son so much but I needed to protect him and if you think I'm the worst person in the world I feel that but I couldn't be selfish I had to protect my baby 😥😭

not sure why this came up on my recommendeds but i'm so sorry you had to go through this. Up til the 14 min mark is basically exactly the same as my experience as a late teen. Watching your video just makes me so so grateful that I'm old enough for that crap to have happened to me at a time before social media existed and phones were literally just for calling and texting and didn't have apps that let people track you. Once i managed to break up with him he stayed gone and it was easy for me to disappear from his life and get on with my own- I moved house, wasn't able to be tracked, didn't leave a social media trail. Even though i'm 38 now and don't feel old i'm glad I was a 'kid' when I was. You guys have it so much harder now with all this tech. If i have kids - particularly daughters in the future i'm just going to be terrified for them and sad that I have to raise them to be so much savvier than I ever had to be.
This guy had his chance. You handled this appropriatetly and treated him as a person. I recommend contacting IC3 to try and block him. He is determined to get the last chance. I have been in love with women but the minute I get a direct ‘no’ I lay off. He’s just trying to manipulate.
