Anybody notice they switch sometimes at the beginning of old songs? Sometimes it's Anita & Ruth, other times it's Bonnie & Anita ... I don't think there has ever been sibling voices like them ... ever.
I can only try singing along with them on “Cloudburst” to a certain part before I’m completely left behind. Haha 😅 It’s such a difficult song, oh my goodness, and they always sang it so beautifully with some intricate harmonization. No other group as versatile and good as these ladies! What a talented group of siblings! 😍
Soo sad.. Ruth is the only one left out of the group. These Sisters made their mark in Music history as a female group but didn't get their full credit. The Supremes, En Vogue, TLC, and Destiny's Child were so Huge 🔥 in their respective Eras. Loved them all.
It's a tough one! Ruth's power, Anita's perfect pitch, Bonnie's rasp and versatility. But I agree that June's timbre & clarity stand out. Plus June also had the range and she developed rasp and growls later. I think all of her sisters wanted the best for her musically. If she trained she could've stood out as one of the greatest vocalist ever.
@rozchristopherson648 Calm down. She is also - amazingly, given what *literal satanic witches* the others are, as Onika Pointer directly told me, especially considering what a PERVERTED MONSTER Bonnie is (is, not "was", these witches LOVE faking their deaths) - the evilest one, BY FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
The pointer sisters ain’t nothing to play with … they harmonies intricacies Is off the charts
Amen!
Love The Pointer Sisters...should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame :)
Rest In Peace Anita 😢 Bonnie 😢 And June 😢
BRAVA‼️ These ladies could sing anything. Brilliant and beautiful. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This fills me up with joy! Nobody can harmonize like siblings can.
Ruth’s voice is so low and jazzyy. Talent!
Blown away every time by these ladies and their journey as artists
RIP Ms Pointer
This is pretty much the same show I saw at the Fresno County Fair in 1973. By that I mean, my life was changed
So much talent coming from that family.
Harmonizing off the chains.
RIP - Anita, Bonnie & June. My condolences go to their sister, Ruth and the rest of the Pointers family. 💐💐💐💐
One voice! Incredible!!
They make it look so easy.....but it aint .....pure class
UNBELIEVABLE!
Yeah y'all. Awesome!
Much Gratitude

Can they come out with a dvd with these songs
How come they are not in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame?
That’s a very good question.
🎧🔥
Is that Anita or June singing the top?
Never mind just listened further and its definitely June!
Listen to the piano player
Tom Salisbury on the album and sounds like him here. Anyway magnificent.
