I love the love that is between the both of you..it’s pure and natural..I lost my childhood sweetheart in 2014 we were together since we were 15 1/2 .. we went through our trials and tribulations but loved him so much..I am now going to be 71. Cherish what you have now and never take love for granted. I love nature and the vintage look..I have that in my home..for most of all I always turn to my faith first before anything🙏Daisies and hydrangeas are my favorite flowers. 🍁 🏡 A Proverb from the Bible says “Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:” And I love that. I don’t want to be poor and I don’t need to be rich. We should be content with having what we need. 😊 I am learning to be content with what I have and not try to always be reaching for the next thing. I am at a place where I don’t have to rush or punch a clock and I am loving it. But there is also an inner voice that says “Hurry! You need to be productive! Go! go!” 😩 I have to fight it.
There’s a verse in 1 Timothy in the Bible that says “But Godliness with contentment is great gain.” And I have really taken this verse to heart. Do good and be content and there is great gain in that simplicity. So different from the main stream media When I get stressed or feel overwhelmed, I say “Contentment is great gain!” And it helps me put things into perspective. I grew up with those bird and tree books...they are the best! I remember hiking with my parents and collecting leaves. I would press them and paste them on pages and label them. 😊 Loved your video so much, the squirrels, beautiful deer, the cozy cottage, and fun pie, flowers on the graves...so thoughtful. Absolutely love your Harvest Home Pie and special Tea. You both as so sweet and love your style. Am so glad you have found this life and the cozy little home and resing in nature, amid the rustle of a small friend who have lived there long beforehand still come around to see what is happening in their own area. I think your dear cottage is over joyed that you two found it, or maybe it made sure to find you. We wish we could get sunflowers to grow like this at the cottage but we're grateful for the hydrangeas! 🍂
@@itsacharminglife Oh, I thought that was your backyard garden. Ooops, my mistake. I planted some along the sidewalk last year so if you ever want to give it a try, here is my advice after some trial and error : Lots of direct sun, deep and rich soil does the trick. I've tried to grow them in pots but they prefer the ground. Some rain, but not too much because the leaves are prone to mold if conditions are too wet, too often. The bees will love you for it.

Your videos are so beautifully done. Love all your cozy, vintage, and natural touches. Fall is my favorite time of year. Just started decorating outside. I collect all the stems from my tiger lilies and create faux cornstalks for myself and my neighbors. Their dried leaves become the raffia that I tie on each one before delivering them around the neighborhood.
