So i know this is an old video but Delsin's concrete power was literally his strongest attack power and while it was limited in the game by only being able to absorb it from enemies, that is more of a game play element then something lore friendly since there isn't a point in the game were you couldn't absorb it so you would never have to worry about recharging your power making it game breaking

Electro. Electricity of any caliber does not hurt him while Cole got hurt by Kesslers attacks. Also Electro doesn’t have to recharge as much as Cole does but I do admit Cole is much smarter so that could be a factor.
Infamous 1 & 2 will ALWAYS be better. How about they make a sequel with those characters & a bigger map, more powers, diverse enemies/monsters, plus an awesome long story?!!!
The one thing about Cole is that at both the start and end of infamous 2 when Cole is at his Prime he has nearly endless energy. At the start of Infamous 2 Cole had spent weeks getting strong enough to fight the beast were his regular blasts were the equivalent of rockets being able to constantly spam them. At the end of 2 when he fully charged the RFI he had the same amount of stamina from the beginning of the game but he also had more output. He was able to repeatedly summon lighting storms. Now I would be interested in seeing what would happen if Delsin had the same amount of time to strengthen his ability.
@@pyroknighthayes9486 he's talking about delsin's video ability and if he was using that ability to probably be unfair considering that video is extremely powerful and could potentially kill Cole. he can also rival Cole by powering down any TVs in the immediate vicinity limiting Cole's ability to regenerate his electricity.
i agree on all of points except one the thing you forgot to consider in my opinion is the fact that both, delsin and cole would run out of energy. but playing these 2 games i happen to notice that delsins stamina is higher than coles. to absorb elements both need to stand still. when loosing energy cole becomes a simple human losing his mobility and offensive as well as defensive powers. on the other hand delsins mobility and male attacks as well as his fast healing and powerful blasts are still available for him if he runs out of energy. coles offensive powers are more targeted and delsins powers have more area damage. having the speed and reaction advantage will make easier for delsin to dodge coles hits.(P.S. taking the evil delsin was a mistake cuz at the end he gets to shake hands with hundred's of conduits getting hundreds of powers like paper, glass, wire and more. playing second son i noticed that delsin transforms his body in the element he drains so if one of them happens to be electricity proof cole is pretty much screwed ) anyway i like cole more than evil delsin. but cole has no chance.
I've noticed no one ever mentions that delsin has only ever been seen touching prime conduits hands. He has never been shown to be able to touch a person's face to mimic their powers. So as far as we know he can only mimic them after he touches their hand. When he fought the DUP soldiers and was trying to make his way over to the lantern district Augustine captured him. She made him an offer, he refused and went out of his way to try to reach for her hand. This leads me to believe that he needs physical contact with a prime conduits hand against his hand to mimic their respective powers. Plus Augustine's face was closer, would have been easier to reach and would have taken her by surprise. Delsin has to touch their "prime conduit" hand with his own.
Once I started watching this video I didn't realize how long it was gonna be but I'm glad I stuck around. Great vid, I can tell it was thoroughly thought out and applaud you for that.
And the story's real ending has to be passive in order for a new game to come out so again you fucked up, because if You take the genocidal path Delsin says at the ending before he destroyes the akomish hospital he says "I'm gonna go to cerden Kay, which is the prison of conduits that means he'll get above 10,000 powers and take over the world becoming the most powerful conduit and human to ever live
Just because he did absorb all their powers, doesn't mean we can just say what powers he has. We don't know what powers those conduits had. Unfortunately, this means we can use what he has been seen using. This means he can only use smoke, neon, and video.

Jill Valentine Can't exactly give a link as it's an in game thing, paper trail was a side quest that required you to follow a paper conduit and do puzzles, at one point you could take a conduit test and one of the results was pressurized water if I remember correctly
Look if you could find me a good animator that i can get in contact I would love to add animation fights to my Match Up sadly the only ones who can seem to afford that kind of quality are Death Battles.

And also something else to add, is that whenever a Thunderstorm happens, Cole pretty much becomes an Infinite All Powerful God. I loved that Mission in Infamous 2 where it was thunderstorming, allowing Cole to have infinite energy! 😃🌩⚡
It’s not quite that fair because Deleon has the potential to become as powerful as the source conduits he got his powers from once he masters them the way cole did.
Cole is stronger than majority maybe all conduits. He has time travel and other abilities. Cole has not even unlocked all his powers. Infamous 1. Cole, to me, is the most deadliest conduit.
I agree that in all of these categories Cole would win but I think you overlooked delsins far superior speed in his powers, I think he's faster speed and maneuver ability with all of his powers would throw Cole off quite a bit

The reason the abilities feel so weird and diverse in infamous 1&2 is because they were as diverse as humanity but imagine if you created a disease that wiped out humans? Actually I heard something similar, they’d originally planned to have second son follow up the evil ending of infamous 2, but because the majority of players preferred the good ending they decided to go with that.
And we are assuming Delsin only goes for flashy kills? If he knew Cole was strong then he would've merely taken the chance to obliterate Cole with a single Cinder blast, it would work since Cole doesn't wear armor. That or a single smoke shot headshot.

Evil Delsin is more of a brute. Good Delsin is more tactical. But that actually is "almost" an accurate winner if Delsin went evil. I don't think Sucker Punch would use evil Delsin as cannon, but if that is the case, the fact that he would absorb other powers from Curdan Cay Station after killing his tribe would come to effect. Also despite Delsin getting drained of his powers, he still has his mobility going through certain walls and vents, and he can still melee. It might prolong his inevitable defeat, but it would make for a little more interesting approach. Also, he does have video claws and can summon 3 demons while going invisible, which I'm surprised you didn't mention. Evil Delsin aside, Good Delsin has a more tactical advantage than his evil self. For instance, with smoke, his vent healing is similar to that of Cole's grinding on electrified rails with the exception of giving energy back. With neon, he does slow time to be able to detect any weakness as he aiming. With video, despite only summoning 1 angel, he can stay invisible for a much longer time and can hover around a lot longer, being able to still shoot his homing swords and video turret.
Delsin would win because of his vast majority of powers and his ability to heal from all those power options. Not just Smoke, Neon, Video and Concrete, but many more powers. In the ending of Infamous Second Son, if you chose the evil route, after freeing all the Conduits from Curdun Cay, Delsin claims he’s gonna shake everyone’s hand on their way out the door, absorbing EVERY SINGLE LOCKED UP CONDUITS POWERS. The estimated amount of conduits in Curdun Cay were over 300. That gives Delsin an EXTREME superior fire power, and would allow him to heal from basically ANYTHING around him. No doubt he would win.
Delsin a semi Glass Canon and experience wise is only around two weeks of practice Vs Coles Several Months of trying to hone his abilities. That and you can't just use a Delsin with 300+ abilities just due to the fact that the mentioned version of Delsin is featless. It also doesn't help him since Coles attack are strong enough to harm and even visibly injure The Beast. The same Beast who shrugged off a Nuke point blank with no visible damage seen. That alone is more than enough to just One Shot Delsin. And his Durability is even higher considering he survived the epicenter explosion of the RFI which destroyed several city blocks, can withstand the Earthquakes made by Kessler (Who does it casually) vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:The_Christian_Nerd/InFAMOUS:_Kessler_Earthquakes which has been listed as 15.33 Megatons. So basically So again, City level and possibly higher attack power and durability Vs Large Building to maybe City Block at most +Way more experience

Pretty sure Augustine's 7 years of practice and experience outranks Cole's few months. Despite all that experience of again, 7 years, Delsin still defeated her with her OWN power with Delsin having NO prior experience in that specific power. Again, pretty sure Delsin would win because of his superior fire power (Smoke, Neon, Video and Concrete), durability (can shrug off multiple bullets, rockets and hits form other powerful conduits superior in their own power field) and his ability to heal from a wider range of elements.
@Weight Overload short version: It's not evil Cole. The end. Long version: This is Good Cole vs Evil Delsin. No doubt that Cole would win if the Karmas were reversed. The good karma powers in the Infamous series are typically about submission (subduing, pinning down, tiring out or preventing the opponent from moving) whilst evil karmas powers are mainly directed towards destruction and the intent to kill (to cause as much damage as possible). The playing field is also critical. Cole can only heal from electrical components around him, such as power poles. He can also heal from people by taking their energy, but I can guarantee they'd all run away from the battle, so they're out of the picture. Plus this is good Cole, he wouldn't steal peoples energy. Both of Cole's and Delsin's power sources can run out, but Delsin has a much wider range of power source options. You mentioned that Cole can heal without a power source, so can Delsin, but for both of them it takes time to heal. Again, Delsin can heal faster from his wider range of power options. Neon is an element all on its own, and it usually requires a small amount of neon and a lot electricity to operate and give that fluoro glow. But the neon power in the game consists of pure neon energy, which has no electricity in it, doing damage as it should. Plus, any shot of electricity Cole hits on Delsin with his neon powers would be absorbed and make Delsin more powerful, due to the electrodes in the neon being charged. It would also quite possibly heal him in the process. Video powers are basically radio waves (the frequency of waves used for TVs), but much more concentrated. If you clash concentrated radio waves with regular electricity, the two wont mix and would clash with each other. So both Delsin with his video powers and Cole would do mutual damage to each other. Also, if we're being accurate, Delsin would absorb concrete from nearly everything around him. Sidewalks, roads, pillars, buildings, etc. While Delsin is using his concrete powers, he also takes significantly less damage as well. To sum up, Delsin would win. Superior fire power, ability to heal from nearly anything around him, can shrug off damage, avoid damage entirely, and can cause a ton of damage whenever he wants to. Plus, imagine if Delsin absorbed Cole's powers. Or better yet, learned and developed an ultimate form where he can use every one of his powers at once. He'd be nearly unstoppable, and defiantly over enough to defeat Cole.
Me and my friend are not Xbox players so we can't play Infamous but we still love the game. We got into a conversation of who would win between Delson and Alex Mercer from Prototype. A video on that would be cool

Though this was a nice explanation, you are missing some key factors for Delsin. This is two years too late but something to think about, that Delsin is just as calculative, especially manipulation / corruption of Fetch and Eugene, and tactician of quickly understanding his opponent's powers, using said powers against them and winning (except for Eugene). Delsin may have much more stamina at his disposable, easily switching between powers with no efforts. Plus, their special moves don't take away meter but concentration. A "criminal mastermind", Delsin once said. And his strikes can evaporate opponent's at their weakest, plus the devastation he brings as Infamous. Logically and personally, this battle goes to Infamous Delsin.
This makes me wish for the next game they have Cole as the good path for the game and Delson for the Evil path. It would be cool to have both characters match up like this. Excellent video! Absolutly astounding job at analysis.
As I never owned a PS4 nor a PS3, I haven't played the Infamous games but a fantastic video nonetheless. Really well edited and written and an impressive amount of time being put into this project. Well done Brian!

+3TopicsReviewer I feel you gave Cole an unfair advantage by giving him total knowledge of the battlfield. Since both rely on their environment, this is like taking a rifle from a clone trooper, it's their main asset. However, I don't think it will change the outcome, but rather prolong it, both would need to adapt quickly to the area. Cole ,of course, is more experienced with adapting to new situations and improvising. Delsin's last couple of conduit fights were mainly shoving matches with no emphasis on exploiting a specific weakness.
As much as I like Cole not as much as Delsin, and it’s not because he’s my favorite infamous character. But I still believe that Delsin would emerge the winner because he’s had better toned his energies and would be much more wiser, on how he uses them Delsin may be arrogant but he’s not as reckless as he seems. All that Delsin needs to do is stun him with either his Neon energy or a sulfur bomb and then blast him with either his cinder blast or a neon blast or whatever it was called. But still this is a great matchup but I disagree with the outcome
So looking back on delsin supposed need for power relays, what if they simply speed the process of power development exponentially. Neon is easy to understand so it makes sense that he would get basic powers from the start, video was alot more complicated and therefore it would have taken a long time to figure out how to use his powers. It seems more like a quick fix and the powers complexity determines the time needed to develop the power and what you get from the start. If delsin developed a routine to develop new powers without the crutch of a power relay he would be far more dangerous than he already is, however he would probably have to bail then practice with his new power and fight at a later date.
I have a theory about delsin He can absorb other conduits powers AND STILL USE THEM EVEN IF HE DOESN'T COLLECT ANY SHARDS Evidence He was able to use Abigails powers after he ONLY TOUCHED HER (keep in mind he still chases her and asks for her powers()
But what if, when they touch and delsin absorbs coles powers AND memories, he see's coles weakness to water! And even though he is stripped of most powers he still has the evade version of the electricity power as he did when he gained the other powers. Perhaps delsin could turn the tide of the fight then?

Delsin is pretty much a badass. Just imagine knowing how powerful Delsin can be when he masters his powers and manages to use all of them at the same time.
Great video but I thought it was a bit bias. Cole may have an advantage over delsin but I feel you are coming up with weaknesses for delsin that would not happen in a fight
I think in terms of battle Delsin would probably win. Delsin has much more maneuverability than Cole. Honestly, I think that it would be very circumstantial.
In my opinion Delsin should've had concrete even if he only got it from a certain enemy type in the game concrete is every where and if he had concrete I think he would've got another edge and won
Actually, in the game concrete only recharged during the Augustine fight because there were no concrete sources in that fight. If you played with concrete during the post game, you'd notice that the concrete power didn't automatically recharge. And besides, don't you feel like absorbing concrete from ANY source is incredibly awkward? With every other power, you can see a change when you absorb power. Drain electricity and stuff stops working, drain smoke and the particles disappear, drain neon and the light dims, and drain video and the tv shuts off. If Delsin absorbed concrete from the ground, would he legitimately rip chunks of asphalt off the street? It just doesn't seem to make much sense to me, and I really do think that Cole would win anyway, although, I'd rather they never fought at all so Delsin could just have Cole's power, lol. That's why I hope Cole is secretly alive and in a sequel focused around Delsin, they'll meet up and Delsin will literally be a God.
The video was nice but I felt there was way more to dig into . Delsin basic got summarized while cole got the full examination. Each of Delsin power have small details there should be examined. Like invisibility, neon fields , Intangibility. Again I like it but there still much more to talk abt.
I think one thing that should've been factored in for the powers section is the amount of time it takes to recharge their powers. Delsin pretty much instantly absorbs his powers while cole takes a decent amount of time. As soon as cole recharges he'll be extremely vulnerable
Also I fell like people often forget the delsin always temporary confuse or knockout the conduits he touches. And more importantly there are always shards especially in new moray.

Cole conduit gene is pretty op remember has gained powers from his karmatic matches ice or fire and fuels it with electricity as we have seen all conduits powers stem from an element but are fired from the hands almost always now cole has had his powers for less than a year never really developed them like Kessler did with the whole being able to time travel and that quick dashes he does but he would eventually unlock those powers if he did

I mean thats not really impressive. A normal human could do that. Cole has mastered his electricity and can use ice without having to drain or touch anyone. And Cole's abilities are in fucking sane. He could just thunder strike his ass. Freeze his ass. Electrocute his ass. Especially in storm he is absolutely invincible.

Delsin also has access to a set of demon claws via his video power. These do not require his chain, as he summons two claws, and when he uses good karma and has a sword instead, the chain is still around his wrist. Also, Delsin does not require a reserve to use his basic attacks, dash or ground-pound.
In your evil cole vs good delsin you let cole use his powers he received from the beast in the evil ending in infamous 2, so in this video Im going to give that privilege to delsin. Technically in the infamous ending in second son, delsin says he is going to free all the conduits in curdun cay and absorb all of the conduits powers. Making him the most powerful conduit ever. while you could say he would need a corresponding amount of power shards to use all of those powers. While true, if you collected all the audio logs in infamous second son the guy says that Agustin was angry when she found out delsin can absorb the power cores so she went to her storage unit where she kept all of her blast shard drones and power cores and tried to absorb them herself (failing to do so). so when delsin goes to curdun cay he will come across of this storage unit giving him enough blast shards to absorb most if not all of those powers.whether or not these powers are strong enough to beat cole is another question, but I don't wanna beat my brain up doing all that research and shit. Anyways, this conversation is pointless if we're going off cannon for the hero ending in infamous 2,and if we are cole is dead, so delsin would just be beating up a dead body while getting nothing but a lot of weird looks. sorry for all the typos and shit
Im talking about if good cole went up against evil delsin , so cole doesn't have the ability to turn into the beast. But you are correct when it comes to delsins powers not being strong enough to defeat cole. but in the end cole wins because I like cole more.
since Cole is dead, couldn't you imagine for this fight delsin going up to to coles grave while Zeke is walking past 10 yards away, then pulling out Coles corpse, then (insert scene when Kylo Ren is beating up the wall)
I just realised this. John couldn't be the beast in Kessler's time line ,and the beast's powers seem suspiciously Smokey so here's my theory. the beast that Kessler dealt with IS DELSON .
I guess the battle between Good Cole and Delsin would be a very close call match considering both are more tactical and their evil selves, with Cole having a little more edge to tactician.
Technically I don't think concrete conduits even need to absorb it they can just use it unlike the others who need to recharge. Delsin having to absorb it from the dup agents and not having access to things like the trap ability that encases your feet as well as the ability to make shields was a choice the devs made to keep players from abusing it (or they didn't have enough time to make the power as good hence why there was no ultimate power)
If Delsin cut off power to the immediate area I wouldn't necessarily say he'd lose access to neon powers. Granted I don't understand fully how it works but we're going off of the assumption that he's taking the light energy which is fair enough. But if he's draining the neon itself then all he needs is for the gas to be present
Does anyone get it in the beginning of the video it showed that little girl with the colored circles on her hand Augustine knew her to so that's how that girl Augustine and Cole got powers and Delsin got powers from Augustine so it all started out with Cole so cole was used as a power source for all these characters and that little girl was in the beginning of the story was probably from the paper trail in infamous second sun or that could of been fetch like comment if you agree

Electro. Electricity of any caliber does not hurt him while Cole got hurt by Kesslers attacks. Also Electro doesn’t have to recharge as much as Cole does but I do admit Cole is much smarter so that could be a factor.

The one thing about Cole is that at both the start and end of infamous 2 when Cole is at his Prime he has nearly endless energy. At the start of Infamous 2 Cole had spent weeks getting strong enough to fight the beast were his regular blasts were the equivalent of rockets being able to constantly spam them. At the end of 2 when he fully charged the RFI he had the same amount of stamina from the beginning of the game but he also had more output. He was able to repeatedly summon lighting storms.
Now I would be interested in seeing what would happen if Delsin had the same amount of time to strengthen his ability.

i agree on all of points except one the thing you forgot to consider in my opinion is the fact that both, delsin and cole would run out of energy. but playing these 2 games i happen to notice that delsins stamina is higher than coles. to absorb elements both need to stand still. when loosing energy cole becomes a simple human losing his mobility and offensive as well as defensive powers. on the other hand delsins mobility and male attacks as well as his fast healing and powerful blasts are still available for him if he runs out of energy. coles offensive powers are more targeted and delsins powers have more area damage. having the speed and reaction advantage will make easier for delsin to dodge coles hits.(P.S. taking the evil delsin was a mistake cuz at the end he gets to shake hands with hundred's of conduits getting hundreds of powers like paper, glass, wire and more. playing second son i noticed that delsin transforms his body in the element he drains so if one of them happens to be electricity proof cole is pretty much screwed ) anyway i like cole more than evil delsin. but cole has no chance.

I've noticed no one ever mentions that delsin has only ever been seen touching prime conduits hands. He has never been shown to be able to touch a person's face to mimic their powers. So as far as we know he can only mimic them after he touches their hand. When he fought the DUP soldiers and was trying to make his way over to the lantern district Augustine captured him. She made him an offer, he refused and went out of his way to try to reach for her hand. This leads me to believe that he needs physical contact with a prime conduits hand against his hand to mimic their respective powers. Plus Augustine's face was closer, would have been easier to reach and would have taken her by surprise. Delsin has to touch their "prime conduit" hand with his own.
This is the best vs's match I've ever seen and so much information shows the dedication! Beyond Phenomenal

Just because he did absorb all their powers, doesn't mean we can just say what powers he has. We don't know what powers those conduits had. Unfortunately, this means we can use what he has been seen using. This means he can only use smoke, neon, and video.

Jill Valentine Can't exactly give a link as it's an in game thing, paper trail was a side quest that required you to follow a paper conduit and do puzzles, at one point you could take a conduit test and one of the results was pressurized water if I remember correctly

It’s not quite that fair because Deleon has the potential to become as powerful as the source conduits he got his powers from once he masters them the way cole did.
Cole is stronger than majority maybe all conduits. He has time travel and other abilities. Cole has not even unlocked all his powers. Infamous 1. Cole, to me, is the most deadliest conduit.
I agree that in all of these categories Cole would win but I think you overlooked delsins far superior speed in his powers, I think he's faster speed and maneuver ability with all of his powers would throw Cole off quite a bit

The reason the abilities feel so weird and diverse in infamous 1&2 is because they were as diverse as humanity but imagine if you created a disease that wiped out humans? A certain population would remain that would be immune to that as well as reducing the genetic variation
Actually I heard something similar, they’d originally planned to have second son follow up the evil ending of infamous 2, but because the majority of players preferred the good ending they decided to go with that.
And we are assuming Delsin only goes for flashy kills? If he knew Cole was strong then he would've merely taken the chance to obliterate Cole with a single Cinder blast, it would work since Cole doesn't wear armor. That or a single smoke shot headshot.

Evil Delsin is more of a brute. Good Delsin is more tactical. But that actually is "almost" an accurate winner if Delsin went evil. I don't think Sucker Punch would use evil Delsin as cannon, but if that is the case, the fact that he would absorb other powers from Curdan Cay Station after killing his tribe would come to effect. Also despite Delsin getting drained of his powers, he still has his mobility going through certain walls and vents, and he can still melee. It might prolong his inevitable defeat, but it would make for a little more interesting approach. Also, he does have video claws and can summon 3 demons while going invisible, which I'm surprised you didn't mention. Evil Delsin aside, Good Delsin has a more tactical advantage than his evil self. For instance, with smoke, his vent healing is similar to that of Cole's grinding on electrified rails with the exception of giving energy back. With neon, he does slow time to be able to detect any weakness as he aiming. With video, despite only summoning 1 angel, he can stay invisible for a much longer time and can hover around a lot longer, being able to still shoot his homing swords and video turret.
Delsin would win because of his vast majority of powers and his ability to heal from all those power options. Not just Smoke, Neon, Video and Concrete, but many more powers. In the ending of Infamous Second Son, if you chose the evil route, after freeing all the Conduits from Curdun Cay, Delsin claims he’s gonna shake everyone’s hand on their way out the door, absorbing EVERY SINGLE LOCKED UP CONDUITS POWERS. The estimated amount of conduits in Curdun Cay were over 300. That gives Delsin an EXTREME superior fire power, and would allow him to heal from basically ANYTHING around him. No doubt he would win.
Delsin a semi Glass Canon and experience wise is only around two weeks of practice Vs Coles Several Months of trying to hone his abilities.
That and you can't just use a Delsin with 300+ abilities just due to the fact that the mentioned version of Delsin is featless.
It also doesn't help him since Coles attack are strong enough to harm and even visibly injure The Beast. The same Beast who shrugged off a Nuke point blank with no visible damage seen. That alone is more than enough to just One Shot Delsin.
And his Durability is even higher considering he survived the epicenter explosion of the RFI which destroyed several city blocks, can withstand the Earthquakes made by Kessler (Who does it casually) vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:The_Christian_Nerd/InFAMOUS:_Kessler_Earthquakes which has been listed as 15.33 Megatons.

Pretty sure Augustine's 7 years of practice and experience outranks Cole's few months. Despite all that experience of again, 7 years, Delsin still defeated her with her OWN power with Delsin having NO prior experience in that specific power. Again, pretty sure Delsin would win because of his superior fire power (Smoke, Neon, Video and Concrete), durability (can shrug off multiple bullets, rockets and hits form other powerful conduits superior in their own power field) and his ability to heal from a wider range of elements.
@Weight Overload short version: It's not evil Cole. The end. Long version: This is Good Cole vs Evil Delsin. No doubt that Cole would win if the Karmas were reversed. The good karma powers in the Infamous series are typically about submission (subduing, pinning down, tiring out or preventing the opponent from moving) whilst evil karmas powers are mainly directed towards destruction and the intent to kill (to cause as much damage as possible).
The playing field is also critical. Cole can only heal from electrical components around him, such as power poles. He can also heal from people by taking their energy, but I can guarantee they'd all run away from the battle, so they're out of the picture. Plus this is good Cole, he wouldn't steal peoples energy. Both of Cole's and Delsin's power sources can run out, but Delsin has a much wider range of power source options. You mentioned that Cole can heal without a power source, so can Delsin, but for both of them it takes time to heal. Again, Delsin can heal faster from his wider range of power options.
Neon is an element all on its own, and it usually requires a small amount of neon and a lot electricity to operate and give that fluoro glow. But the neon power in the game consists of pure neon energy, which has no electricity in it, doing damage as it should. Plus, any shot of electricity Cole hits on Delsin with his neon powers would be absorbed and make Delsin more powerful, due to the electrodes in the neon being charged. It would also quite possibly heal him in the process.
Video powers are basically radio waves (the frequency of waves used for TVs), but much more concentrated. If you clash concentrated radio waves with regular electricity, the two wont mix and would clash with each other. So both Delsin with his video powers and Cole would do mutual damage to each other.
Also, if we're being accurate, Delsin would absorb concrete from nearly everything around him. Sidewalks, roads, pillars, buildings, etc. While Delsin is using his concrete powers, he also takes significantly less damage as well.
To sum up, Delsin would win. Superior fire power, ability to heal from nearly anything around him, can shrug off damage, avoid damage entirely, and can cause a ton of damage whenever he wants to. Plus, imagine if Delsin absorbed Cole's powers. Or better yet, learned and developed an ultimate form where he can use every one of his powers at once. He'd be nearly unstoppable, and defiantly over enough to defeat Cole.

No, I was talking about the sequel to infamous second son.
Though this was a nice explanation, you are missing some key factors for Delsin. This is two years too late but something to think about, that Delsin is just as calculative, especially manipulation / corruption of Fetch and Eugene, and tactician of quickly understanding his opponent's powers, using said powers against them and winning (except for Eugene). Delsin may have much more stamina at his disposable, easily switching between powers with no efforts. Plus, their special moves don't take away meter but concentration. A "criminal mastermind", Delsin once said. And his strikes can evaporate opponent's at their weakest, plus the devastation he brings as Infamous. Logically and personally, this battle goes to Infamous Delsin.

I feel you gave Cole an unfair advantage by giving him total knowledge of the battlfield. Since both rely on their environment, this is like taking a rifle from a clone trooper, it's their main asset.
However, I don't think it will change the outcome, but rather prolong it, both would need to adapt quickly to the area. Cole ,of course, is more experienced with adapting to new situations and improvising. Delsin's last couple of conduit fights were mainly shoving matches with no emphasis on exploiting a specific weakness.

As much as I like Cole not as much as Delsin, and it’s not because he’s my favorite infamous character. But I still believe that Delsin would emerge the winner because he’s had better toned his energies and would be much more wiser, on how he uses them Delsin may be arrogant but he’s not as reckless as he seems. All that Delsin needs to do is stun him with either his Neon energy or a sulfur bomb and then blast him with either his cinder blast or a neon blast or whatever it was called. But still this is a great matchup but I disagree with the outcome

So looking back on delsin supposed need for power relays, what if they simply speed the process of power development exponentially. Neon is easy to understand so it makes sense that he would get basic powers from the start, video was alot more complicated and therefore it would have taken a long time to figure out how to use his powers. It seems more like a quick fix and the powers complexity determines the time needed to develop the power and what you get from the start. If delsin developed a routine to develop new powers without the crutch of a power relay he would be far more dangerous than he already is, however he would probably have to bail then practice with his new power and fight at a later date.
I think in a fight Deleon could perhaps absorbs Coles power.

Delsin is pretty much a badass. Just imagine knowing how powerful Delsin can be when he masters his powers and manages to use all of them at the same time.
Great video but I thought it was a bit bias. Cole may have an advantage over delsin but I feel you are coming up with weaknesses for delsin that would not happen in a fight
I think in terms of battle Delsin would probably win. Delsin has much more maneuverability than Cole. Honestly, I think that it would be very circumstantial.
In my opinion Delsin should've had concrete even if he only got it from a certain enemy type in the game concrete is every where and if he had concrete I think he would've got another edge and won
Actually, in the game concrete only recharged during the Augustine fight because there were no concrete sources in that fight. If you played with concrete during the post game, you'd notice that the concrete power didn't automatically recharge. And besides, don't you feel like absorbing concrete from ANY source is incredibly awkward? With every other power, you can see a change when you absorb power. Drain electricity and stuff stops working, drain smoke and the particles disappear, drain neon and the light dims, and drain video and the tv shuts off. If Delsin absorbed concrete from the ground, would he legitimately rip chunks of asphalt off the street? It just doesn't seem to make much sense to me, and I really do think that Cole would win anyway, although, I'd rather they never fought at all so Delsin could just have Cole's power, lol. That's why I hope Cole is secretly alive and in a sequel focused around Delsin, they'll meet up and Delsin will literally be a God.
OR the battle could've took place in Seattle and there was a dup soldier or two caught in the crossfire and delsin took advantage of the opportunity

The video was nice but I felt there was way more to dig into . Delsin basic got summarized while cole got the full examination. Each of Delsin power have small details there should be examined. Like invisibility, neon fields , Intangibility. Again I like it but there still much more to talk abt.

I think one thing that should've been factored in for the powers section is the amount of time it takes to recharge their powers. Delsin pretty much instantly absorbs his powers while cole takes a decent amount of time. As soon as cole recharges he'll be extremely vulnerable

Delsin also has access to a set of demon claws via his video power. These do not require his chain, as he summons two claws, and when he uses good karma and has a sword instead, the chain is still around his wrist. Also, Delsin does not require a reserve to use his basic attacks, dash or ground-pound.
In your evil cole vs good delsin you let cole use his powers he received from the beast in the evil ending in infamous 2, so in this video Im going to give that privilege to delsin. Technically in the infamous ending in second son, delsin says he is going to free all the conduits in curdun cay and absorb all of the conduits powers. Making him the most powerful conduit ever. while you could say he would need a corresponding amount of power shards to use all of those powers. While true, if you collected all the audio logs in infamous second son the guy says that Agustin was angry when she found out delsin can absorb the power cores so she went to her storage unit where she kept all of her blast shard drones and power cores and tried to absorb them herself (failing to do so). so when delsin goes to curdun cay he will come across of this storage unit giving him enough blast shards to absorb most if not all of those powers.whether or not these powers are strong enough to beat cole is another question, but I don't wanna beat my brain up doing all that research and shit. Anyways, this conversation is pointless if we're going off cannon for the hero ending in infamous 2,and if we are cole is dead, so delsin would just be beating up a dead body while getting nothing but a lot of weird looks.

Im talking about if good cole went up against evil delsin , so cole doesn't have the ability to turn into the beast. But you are correct when it comes to delsins powers not being strong enough to defeat cole. but in the end cole wins because I like cole more.

I guess the battle between Good Cole and Delsin would be a very close call match considering both are more tactical and their evil selves, with Cole having a little more edge to tactician.

Technically I don't think concrete conduits even need to absorb it they can just use it unlike the others who need to recharge. Delsin having to absorb it from the dup agents and not having access to things like the trap ability that encases your feet as well as the ability to make shields was a choice the devs made to keep players from abusing it (or they didn't have enough time to make the power as good hence why there was no ultimate power)
If Delsin cut off power to the immediate area I wouldn't necessarily say he'd lose access to neon powers. Granted I don't understand fully how it works but we're going off of the assumption that he's taking the light energy which is fair enough. But if he's draining the neon itself then all he needs is for the gas to be present
Does anyone get it in the beginning of the video it showed that little girl with the colored circles on her hand Augustine knew her to so that's how that girl Augustine and Cole got powers and Delsin got powers from Augustine so it all started out with Cole so cole was used as a power source for all these characters and that little girl was in the beginning of the story was probably from the paper trail in infamous second sun or that could of been fetch like comment if you agree

Delsin can control his ability to absorb the abilities of other conduits, he doesn't automatically absorb them unless he wishes so.
Actually Dr.Wolfe never said the RFI would enhance Coles powers, he said it was a Ray Field Inhibitor, and that it would be able to defeat the beast.
43:00 this thing you said would do a greeeeeeat game, it could be something like, he could fight WITH Cole or AGAINST him, so there's a way to let Delsin be good or evil, and perhaps make a way to play with both characters.
