if you look closely at kessler's "teleportaion" it is not true teleportaition. I think that he is transforming himself into electricity the same way delsin does when using the neon sprint and smoke dash
Maybe. Or using electricity to use super speed to move from one place to the next, like how one of Delsin’s powers he gains is super speed, but Kessler, through time and training, could have learned to use electricity to move at super speed at a way faster rate that it appears he’s teleporting. It’s similar to how it looked like Naruto teleported but he was actually just moving so fast it appeared he had teleported
I’ve seen similar abilities. He’s basically turning his body into an electrical current to travel faster. Yes, you did say that.

Yrah but remember in Kessler’s timeline the beast was already a thing meaning It was inevitably going to happen anyway. Kessler only moved up the time table
@brownwingedangel. Why didn't Kessler just make himself powerful enough to kill the beast in the new timeline? He probably could have ray sphered himself several times before killing the beast by himself. Time travel,ray sphere blast 1,time travel again,ray sphere blast 2,and so repeated time travelling and ray sphere blasting until he don't even need his past self to beat the beast anymore.

@@zombiedemon1762 I think its because Kessler as a character isn't courageous. He isn't the type of guy to fight directly or try to take on problems himself. He doesn't deal with personal problems very well either.
His abilities have a large focus on dodging, mind-effecting, short powerful blasts, etc. in comparison to Cole's. To the point he even time traveled to escape his problems.
He seems to hold a lot of hatred for himself for failing to defeat the Beast and protect his family. Despite that, he doesn't think he has the strength of will or ability to win even when prepared. So instead of trying to fight the beast himself, he thought preparing his past self would be the better option. That way he doesn't have to face the consequences of failing again while simultaneously feeling like he did everything he could to stop the Beast.
In short, he had a chance to run away again AND defeat the beast; so he took it.
tbh 2009 was one of the best years for video games. its astounding how many amazing games came out back then. god i miss that time.

Dude, same. Everyone is just like "man Delsin is stronger" or shit like that, basically everyone is stronger than Cole...
Yet if Cole was a mix of ALL his variants, he'd basically rival gods. I mean the Beast was basically CONDUIT GOD, and Cole overpowered him in one ending and BECAME him in the other.

But if Cole could leverage long-range, at-will fine control over the entire electro-magnetic spectrum (including gravity manipulation), he could be a nightmare incarnate, or one of the strongest superheroes in fiction.

Seeing the plot for the original InFamous games gives me chills. The sci-fi and work put into the plot of the first two games were incredible. Also really dope of you to review in 2020, super rare my favorite game series is even mentioned nowadays

For the bits where he dodges lightning/radiation, as much as I love him, our boy isn't moving relativistically. He's simply getting out of the way before where it's aimed at passes over him or it's fired.
It's a lot easier to dodge a bullet if you get out of the way of the barrel, same principle here.

@@CRISIS_COMICS He is already proven to be able to slow his perception of time and react at super human speeds. It's Occam's razer. Which is more probable. That he reacts to Kassler holding his hands out fowards towards him and just steps out of the way before he fires, or moves faster than light speed? If he moves faster than light speed, then he would be the flash. And light speed doesn't make sense considering his other feats. Kassler does seemingly move at light speed though.

@@CRISIS_COMICS I'd simply say that the way the battles are portrayed aren't what we plebian humans would see. We'd probably just see blurs and blasts.
Hope you don’t mind, wanted to make a small chart for how the other major characters scale of each other.
• Sasha: Fought BoG Cole who could still withstand the Ray Sphere explosion - City level
• Alden Tate: Fought Endgame Cole right before he powers up the final substation - City level
• Kessler: Earthquake Feat. Also overpowered inFAMOUS 1! Cole at his most powerful and treated Sasha and Alden as non-threats - At least City level
• David Warner: Manhandled Post-inF1 Cole in their first encounter and fought evenly with him in their second - At least City level
• The Beast: Casually city-busts, creates clouds just by transforming, tanked a direct hit from a nuclear missile, Defeated Post-inF1 Cole at his most powerful, etc. - At least Large Mountain level
• Bertrand: Fought Endgame Cole just before he absorbed the final Blast Core, along with Nix and Kuo. Additionally, he survived a Ray Sphere blast and was stated to pose some sort of threat to The Beast - Large Mountain level-ish
• Kuo: Weaker than both Endgame Cole and Nix, but still managed to harm the former somewhat alongside The Beast, and survived Nix’s suicide attack that severely injured The Beast, albeit barely - Large Mountain level-ish
• Nix: Fought evenly with Endgame Evil Cole and severely damaged The Beast via suicide attack, and was even stated by Cole himself to be a “powerhouse” - Large Mountain level
The Beast >/= Nix > Kuo =~ Bertrand > David Warner = Kessler > Alden Tate > Sasha
This was pretty much the same conclusion I came to.

At his peak Kessler was universal I recently learned. Fucker made a new form of matter after using almost all of his power to travel 100+ years back in time
@@regretgames5580 Walk me through how time travel hack and matter production are universal feats. If he only time travelled on his own power, with no outside help, you could argue he is able to temporarily hreach into the 4th dimension, would would be a universal feat. However, if he was strong enough to do this, he would easily stomp the beast. You could argue he's a coward and wouldn't fight the beast at all, but that seems weak to me. I wouldn't agree to 4d feats, but time hax for sure.
@@zangetsu5221 That's the thing, the game fucking said he was stronger than the Beast when the Beast appeared, he was just scared for his family and ran like a coward, he did things to make sure Cole wouldn't run like he did. Such as making sure he was willing to sacrifice Trish for the greater good and save the doctors instead.

He could take Avengers like Yellowjacket, Goliath, Hawkeye, Captain America, Luke Cage, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Black Panther, Black Knight, Wasp, Quicksilver and the like, but that's about it. Any of the first ones I listed would solo Cole, most of them easily.

Great video I’ve been a huge love of the infamous series and it’s lore it’s definitely stood out from other comic universes like Marvel and DC with Mutants, inHUMANS, Metahumans and inFAMOUS 1 is still in my top 10 games of all time

i love infamous and honestly think its the greatest game ever. i like how basically in infamous 1 its basically a nuke goes off and people get infected by radiation poisoning and cancer. and in this case it gives people with conduit genes powers and immunity to the ray sphere plauge.
Badass conclusion. I am torn between both endings of Infamous 2. On one hand, the good ending was Amazing and sad, but a great way of concluding Cole’s arc; and on the other hand, the Evil ending is sad, mainly because you have to kill zeke, but you get the full power of the beast and it is mind blowing to think that Cole becomes what he sworn to destroy. It would have been cool to see him fight Delsin. Great video!

Aye who did this in the infamous 1 & 2. When you run low on electricity, did you guys ever shoot at some electrical boxes or bad guys body to charge it up with juice and then absorb the lighting that you shot them with. Which basically means that you can charge yourself with your own power. Doubt that be cannon but I hope that someone else also did this.

Dude just because he doesn't destroy cities doesn't mean he doesn't puddle, just so you have an idea:
Delsin has energy conversion, one gram of energy conversion is 21.5 kilotons, and Delsin can convert a Human body to energy, which would give Island level. And paste I own this Incredible Ability to convert matter, which would easily level him up like hell!!!

This game is what made electrokenetic powers like Cole's my favorite power.
I'm currently playing second son for the second time. Delsin Rowe has the exclusive ability to absorb and utilize other Conduit's powers. Kind of like rouge from X-men, but rouge could only use a fraction of said power. Delsin on the other hand can take those powers and build upon them. We know from playing second son how Delsin's story goes, but I am left to wonder how he fits into the grand scheme of the story.
Only through blast cores though otherwise he loses access to his other powers

One thing i would’ve loved is if cole teamed up with cyborg raiden from the metal gear solid series. They both conduct lightning/electricity. Cole has his reaper mode and raiden has his ripper mode since raiden’s adoptive name is “jack” and plus he was a child soldier who fought in the Liberian civil war in 1989. And yes I’m aware of PlayStation all-stars and how they were both “enemies” or whatever, but ps all-stars isn’t even a canonical thing in my eyes.

I just wanna say that kessler is cole yet a lot of what kessler does is far beyond what can be done with just electricity. Time travel, memory impartment, Phantasmal copies, and shockwaves that seem to contain no electricity at all not to mention amping his physical abilities far beyond any human. I've always gelt like his actual power is energy manipulation and the only reason cole only uses electricity is due to a difference in time to evolve.
It isn't energy manipulation it is electric magnetic manipulation like magneto.
I really loved these games.

You forgot to mention complete evil karma cole from infamous 1 with the use of the Black lightning from triggering a ray sphere twice to empower himself would probably easily put him at a level above the beast I hope that if they ever decide to remake infamous 1 that they would have the beast be a secret boss fight ending after getting nothing but evil karma specifically since he would be more than enough to defeat the beast
