    This may sound totally off topic but I am continually reminded and humbled whenever I come across a video explaining how what God has given to us is what we can use for healing and nutrition eradicating any and all ailments. I seriously believe I could blindly pick whatever my hand touches in a garden or produce section and it could be another hair video on your channel. Like why the heck am I even a product junkie with all these brands trying to take my money when all that I need is free and all he wants is for me to believe and have everlasting life. Humbled🙏🏽

      @@MelsWorldMelanieThompson making this concoction now. It is straight forward and will use mid week to remoisturize. So right, better than garlic and onions....WHICH WORK BY THE WAY LADIES.
      Just an aside for you all. About two months ago each week prior to washing did a prepoo of ginger/onion and garlic water overnight as prepoo and then washed out in the morning. I kid you not. I had 2 inches of growth, meaning double the growth in a month, leaving it in twists (under a wig) from doing this once per week. Not about smelly so I stopped but the level of sulfur clearly WORKEE to get a boost in growth. Going to try Mel's new method and am going to use it as a prepoo for the next month or two. Sulfur is important to hair growth and retention. I just wish it was not so um...smelly. I do work and I don't want to be accused of stench. So am going to go about this new treatment she suggests. By the way, put a teaspoon of the seeds in your water and drink each day. THIS IS A POWERHOUSE for your body. Work with it ladies and report back a month or two from now. Beautiful hair is mostly an INSIDE JOB. Please do not forget that.
      Our lady's hair is looking phenomenal and lush...clearly the chia is working and her health regimen which she shares on Instagram. Go ahead feel free to make fun of the chia pudding all you want, it is CLEArly WORKING FOR HER. TRY IT. WHAT CAN YOU LOSE.....BETTER THAN THAT
      What WILL you gain? Beautiful hair and skin is an inside job. Topical is important...but help everything along INTERNNALLY. Peace out and Coco is fabulous.....(fellow dog person).

      I’ve never used JBCO on its own on my hair other than on my edges.
      The JBCO is usually blended in other products.
      However, it has made my edges extremely soft and it absorbs it really well. I usually reapply often so I have not yet noticed how long it has lasted.

    • @MelsWorldMelanieThompson
      @MelsWorldMelanieThompson  3 роки тому +3

      Hi Diane, thanks for reminding me of those points:
      The chia seeds gel can last in the fridge for about 3mths (at least, I haven’t had it stocked in the fridge longer than that.
      As for “how long to keep it on your hair under the dryer?” I didn’t mention that as it really depends on the porosity and/or the density of your strands and as you’re aware, everyone’s hair reacts differently and may take much longer or shorter time to dry, (which is why I didn’t mention it).
      However, just to let you know that it took all of 20 mins to dry.
      I hope that’s helpful 😘

      @MelsWorldMelanieThompson  3 роки тому +3

      Hi Carmen, from my own experience, I used the chia seed gel daily on my hair and it only fed my hair with rich nutrition.
      So, in essence, it was like a leave-in because I didn’t wash off the gel every day.
      I would just be away of the plant base protein in it in case you’re protein sensitive - as you would know how much protein is enough for your hair.
      Hope that’s helpful 😊

      @MelsWorldMelanieThompson  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Charmaine, that’s a great question!
      The worst thing that’s likely to happen with chia seeds that’s gone rancid is that the nutritional content of the seeds won’t be as good.
      It’s always best to get a greasy batch though.

      Hi Anita, I appreciate your recommendation. I practice using natural products and Ayurveda DIY’s in my hair growth journey all the time. They’re already fortifying, hydrating and moisturising.
      Besides, it’s not fast hair growth I’m looking to achieve anymore, it’s healthy hair growth I want.
      But if it’s working for you, that’s great.
      Thanks so much for watching my video 🤗🤗

      Errrrr, I’m speaking in English Loretta. But, I have a lot of Nigerian friends so I have exaggerated the accent. Also, I happen to be Ghanaian.
      Why do you ask, are you finding it hard to understand my English accent Loretta?
      Anyway, thanks for watching!
