I am SO glad that I found your channel. I bought all of the ingredients for your flaxseed gel and alma oil recipes. I'm definitely going to buy some chia seeds now! I was wondering if I could use coconut oil instead of shea butter. Since I already have the coconut oil. I'm not sure if maybe one is more hydrating than the other. I'm also going to experiment and see if I can try to make a flaxseed pudding. You have really inspired me to make diy hair products and now my sibling want me to make them some! Also, I love Pure Majik! It smells so good and really hydrates my hair.

I am a perplexed? When you mix water with Shea butter it can go rancid how does it last 2 weeks without a preservative? Be very careful as it will produce mould and yeast (look it up). Also your scalp produces a lot of heat which can accelerate it spoiling. I would prefer to eat it rather than put it on my hair.

Well firstly, it’s refrigerated in an air tight mason jar. It also hardens when cooled. It does not mold nor go old within that 2-3 week time frame. This is not my 1st time making this and its smells absolutely amazing every time I use it even if it’s 2 weeks later. I have never in my life had any mold or issues with making my own hair products. Maybe give it a try and you will see for yourself. make sure it’s in an air tight mason jar and it’s refrigerated. Only issue i’ve ever had was lots of hair growth lol ❤️

@@MajikkMonetI wouldn't use it, when it on your hair it's not refrigerated and we constantly pump out heat from our scalps. You can't see all yeast and mould. I am going to make chia pudding to eat, not to use in my hair.

@@LivingInTheShadei’m perplexed on why u think I would even care what you decide to do? this works for me and BEEN working for me and I have never in my life had any mold or yeast. and chia pudding to eat is made with milk not shea butter lol two totally different ingredients. Good for you. i’ll continue to do what’s BEEN working for me. Thankyou for ur input. it did absolutely nothing for me 😂

@@MajikkMonetDon't be silly I wouldn't eat Shea butter like that even though it is edible. Instead of getting defensive and bloody minded you should have looked into. This is a mistake my family make they get defensive, ignorant and childish without testing whether the advice is correct!

Does it feel sticky on your face and neck? I hate adding product on my hair for that reason 😩

it will dry on you face. then you’d rinse it off. no different than a store bought face mask
