Thank you all 🥰🥰☺️☺️🥰
Hi for how long u leave the Aloe vera in and how often do u use the ALOE vera
You should buy a plastic funnel to help you put the aloe vera gel into the applicator bottle. Alot easier and less mess.
You’re literally lying in this video to people you know nothing about aloe at all
Great info! If you want to avoid further toxins, take the stickers off
You never said how long to soak it. 🤷🏽♀️
While yall debate about it being poisonous or allergenic, I just wanted to point out how precious your girls are, especially how the older girl was enjoying that face rub.
@Smarts007 🥰🥰🥰🥰thank you hun yes she loves it when I use the aloe Vera on her face🥰
THANKS YOU VERY MUCH, YOU GOOD PERSONS AND YOUR DOTHER VERY BEAUTIFUL GIRL, GOD BLESSING YOU
That is what the video is about right? How to remove the "poison". I for one, would definitely like to know for sure if it is or isn't poison so please, debate until the truth emerges.
Oh Yes Hun .. Cuteness overload 😘😘😘

Oh my goodness!! She did not mean that the aloa vera plant is poisonous at all🤣 she made this video to explain to her followers why they experience itch on their skin.... All she meant indirectly was that the yellowish stuff and green leaf make skin itch and irritated for some people... Coz we all have different skin types ❤️ keep on making your video's ❤️
Agreed. People are taking her saying "poison" literally. I could understand what she meant.
The title clearly mentions poison, or is English not your first language...
They are poisonous to cats but that’s all
YES & AMEN. PRAISE YAH FOR BEING A WOMAN OF "UNDERSTANDING"!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Some variety of aloe have poisonous latex it means that if you eat the latex you end up with diarrhea. It's written on the label when you buy it .
These babies are GORGEOUS with beautiful hair! 🥰💞
🥰🥰🥰thank you @Tracie Tuck
ua-cam.com/video/RbG4l44FQ3s/v-deo.html
Actually it’s not poison my darling. In the Caribbean where I’m from, they use it as a laxative. I have eaten it before and it doesn’t affect you. However, due to oral use, I will agree that it may be the reason for the itching. I will definitely do this next time I do my gel. Thank you for your informative video. 😊🤗🙏
Edit: I won’t be replying to anymore comments. So don’t waste your breath or time. Don’t make your fingers hurt you trying to get my attention. Stay safe tho. 😊
Exactly It's not poison I mix and drink it in water all the time
It is not poison my dear
I've been eating and drinking it with water
I think she probably meant the yellow waxy stain is the poison. It's really not a poison. It does make one itchy and it's the part that makes the alor vera bitter.
I just commented that. I'm Trini and I taking this from childhood. Misinformation
We island people drink that nuff already. I use mine as a cleanse. I rub it on my face and chest
The yellow stuff is not poison. It’s more potent that the actual gel. The “yellow stuff” is great for treating rashes, bee stings, and acne, bruises etc. When used you will see improved results in a matter of a day. I live in the Bahamas and use the “yellow stuff” on my skin and daughters skin all the time. You can experience a slight itch for a couple mins but once it’s dries the itch goes away.
An amazing aloe subtance for beautiful skin
Facts. That's not poison. That's spreading misinformation. I had bad allergies as a child in the Bahamas, my eyes was swell and be red with a bit of cold in it. And my mummy use to cut the bottom of the Aloe put the plant stem that was cut and place it in a half cup of water for 30mins or more. Then let me rinse my eyes out with the Aloe water and some of the yellow stuff would be on the plant. No issue. In about 30mins or so my eyes would start to feel better and the puffiness started to go away. I miss living back home so much natural remedies for good health.
The "yellow stuff" is actually called latex; it is indeed poisonous if ingested BUT it can be used externally for cuts, bruises, bumps on the face etc...RC from Jamaica
I am allergic to latex and I tried using Aloe Vera. My head was on actual fire and in the end had to wash it out, 😩 even though I had taken 2 different types of antihistamines. So if you are allergic to latex, then you need to be extremely careful and make sure you remove the latex before using. It doesn't take long to remove it.
It‘s not poison, it‘s highly allergenic. You just have to know
Using the pineapples to hold up the strainer was so smart! This method is so innovative! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you hun usually I use the sink put them on each side but I was cooking at the time so the pineapple comes handy for me 🥰🥰and your welcome
Sooo smart! 🎉
Omg your little girls are so beautiful! 😍😍❤️
🥰🥰🥰@tiffany Jackson thank you so much hun😊🥰
Gorgeous hair 😍😍
Love how she smiled when you put it on her face
Her children are so beautiful!!
😊 thank you🥰🥰🥰

Gdo
By poison I think she meant for the part that causes itchiness and rashes etc. She used the wrong word yes. But the video is still helpful for those who are sensitive to the yellow part of the aloe vera plant.
Exactly!
You just changed the game FOR SURE with this method! Soooo much better… thank you for sharing this with us!
It may not be poison, however some people may be allergic to it. Just like tumeric is usually a good thing too, however, I am very allergic to tumeric. It causes me to break out in hives terribly!!!
Im just one of those people who have so many body sensitivities, and I have to be very careful to what I consume into my body and or place on my skin.
This also includes some medications, as well as some natural products.
I quite understand your allergy....But I wouldn't call it poison.
@@jennyjay6709 I agree with you, I wouldnt call it poison either...I was only pointing out the fact that some folks may be allergic to some things. 🤗🤗🤗
@sandra caraveo I agree 👍
Exactly its not poisonous, its the allergic reaction for some people. Yes it will itch for a while but do subside
Its not poison..i googled it...
Google says the yellow stuff is not poison, instead it is called “aloin” and is the therapeutic part of the leaf. For anyone that was shocked when she said that.
*Edit: I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one that raised an eyebrow to that poison claim! Shoutout to everyone that did their own research lol.*
Okaayy cause i cut that leaf up and blend it yellow and all.
I only discard the skin
If ingested it can be poisonous but to put on your hair or skin is fine.
Yeah I was shocked I never heard of aloe having poison in it😒
If you have a latex allergy you’ll get a reaction. The yellow has latex. So I hear. 🤷🏽♀️
@@annj1341 people of eaten it from years and makes juices from it. It’s not poisoned. The yellow sap is natural latex at most it will cause diarrhea cuz it’s a natural laxative. That’s why people drain it and clean. It’s only “poisonous” if you’re allergic to aloe Vera, like any other foods.
The mash then strain multiple times was a wonderful tip! Thank you 💕
Your welcome and thank you🥰🥰
Omg I use a potato masher too instead of a blender. It keeps the gel consistency
@Rochelle Wray ikr the blender make it way too watery but using the potato masher it surely keep that gel consistency that we need🥰🥰🥰
I never thought about that so now I gotta get one
Firstly, your babies are soooo precious. & thank you for the tips!
@NH thank you so much 😊 🥰🥰
Get a funnel when you’re putting it in the bottle...much easier
Thank you 😊 yes I did get a funnel🥰🥰🥰
Or a turkey baster
I love how you included the details. They were necessary & straight to the point. And they were accompanied with a visual.
QueenKelleyz thank you so much hun🥰🥰🥰
I love your style and explanation, no need asking questions cause you explained every questions that viewers might ask
I haven't used raw aloe in my hair for years. I was resorting to using Aloe products on Amazon, until my HairStylist encouraged me to use the raw aloe again. So I just needed a reminder of how to remove the poison/latex and I am grateful for having this video show up on my feed🥰💗💜💓
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Do you wash it out
@@angelmusubika139 you can wash out the aloe if it is on your scalp, but if you are putting it on your hair-shaft, you would need to gauge if your scalp gets itchy or not if you use the aloe as a leave-in
How long can the aloe gel last you for after making a batch? Or does it all get used in one sitting?
@@silviaroman3412she recommends using the whole thing in one sitting because she notices it becomes watery when you refrigerate it. You can also use the strained liquid (leftover) in a spray bottle. Keep it refrigerated and discard if it starts to ferment
The pineapple idea was genius.
ua-cam.com/video/RbG4l44FQ3s/v-deo.html
Thankful for this information about the toxic areas on the plant...been using it, growing it for years never knew 🤷🏾♀️. God bless and keep you 🙏🏽🤗
OMGosh, your daughters are precious and gorgeous!!! I love that you’re showing them how to take care of their hair and skin from the get go!!! My Nana was like that with me and I’m sooo glad. I look far younger than I am but most of all, I have such healthy hair and skin!
yeah
I cut the bottom of the aloe vera leaf and let the leaf stand straight, and most of the yellow just leaks out in a couple of hours. Sometimes I even leave it standing outside overnight and cut a small piece of the bottom again in the morning just to make sure that there is no more yellow coming out. I also do this, because it helps decrease the strong smell that comes from cutting the aloe leaf that would otherwise linger in the entire house. Like some people said in the comments, I also learned that the yellow liquid is a laxative.
It don't have to be hours. When I cut the bottom, I let it sit under slow running water for a few seconds; just to make the aloe "nectar" flow away with the water. Then I just leave it in the kitchen sink for maybe about 20-30 mins to bleed out some more. And just wash off whatever is left when I return.
Cut and use like normal. It doesn't smell or itch. It only takes a few minutes for it to bleed out...💁🏽
I do the same when I make aloe vera juice also soak the pieces in water
My skin is sensitive to aloe so sadly even after those steps I can't use it on my face.
Hello am a new subscriber here .please how long have you been using aloe Vera and which other products do you use on your kids hair ...thanks this video was helpful
That's what we've always done especially to freshly picked aloes... Let it drain. Wash the leaf. Cutting it then washing it is like wasting the product... You're washing the goodness out!! 😂 😂
Good video though and your daughters are so cute with that lovely hair. 🤗🤗
. And BTW, whether removed (aloin) or not some people are justamente just actually allergic to aloes.
Washing it is the worst thing you could after you cut it open. Contaminants in the water too
Thank you so much for this!! I have been using aloe vera gel on my hair for a year now and just recently had to stop because it started itching my scalp, now I see why. Thank you again. Blessings to you and your beautiful babygirls.🙏🏾❤️
I born come see aloe vera I use it on my hair we Jamaican used the yellow part with grapefruit as a body cleaner I have never see any one poison by this I will keep it on mr hair for about one day or more and I enjoyed using it
I've been using this for me and my daughter hair with water and aloe to spray hair and refresh it. Our hair loves it❤ Thanks for your process, I will try it.
This is one week ago I thought people were over aloe Vera as people move with trends still using it and, I love it
Gorgeous hair and gorgeous children - my goodness 🥰
@Carolina Teresita thank you so much ☺️
I’ve been telling people for years aloe Vera has latex in it this why I don’t use it I’m allergic to latex
Use a funnel it will make it easier to get the aloe in the bottle
Seriously, sometimes I forget funnels exist 🤦🏾♀️😂
Yessssss...it will make the process so much easier.
Thank you hun I just buy it off Amazon 🥰
@@leyamommyckk4loveofcruz yay!!
When do we use the funnel?
THANK YOU! I knew there was a reason my scalp itched and burned.
Thank you so much for showing your techniques. I've been doing it all wrong. You are my savior thank you so much❤
I'm from New Mexico, aloe vera is everywhere in the desert just take a bucket with you, a good knife, and a heavy duty pair of gloves. Then you and a friend can go on a walk through the desert and chop aloe vera. Just watch out for rattlesnakes.
That's really scary rattle snakes
Thanks for this. I stopped using it because I couldn't stand the itching/burning feeling. Will try it your way
Aloe Vera is not poisonous. There are three other different types of aloes which is poisonous. Aloe ruspoliana , aloe elata and aloe Bally’s, those are mostly in East Africa. Growing up in Jamaica , our older folks mixed the aloe vera with egg then drink, they also eat it to flush their colon. But do not over do it. Too much of one thing is not good. Great content though .
I just wrote the same thing.
How often do u use aloe Vera on your hair for maximum hair growth
Aloe Vera is a medicine not a poison I drink it all the time and I mostly use the yellow juice from the aloe.
I drink the aloe vera with orange juice. I am still alive 😊
@@leneakamoneymoney3951 whenever you’re gonna wash your hair
I never dared to use aloe vera because I didn't know how to cut it and prepare it ! Really well explained thank you for sharing !
They're so cute & their hair is beautiful✨
This is very informative. I blend mine and strain it through a stocking. It takes out all of the pulp. Thank you 😊
Your welcome hun🥰🥰😊Grace Richardson
Best video so far on how to extract the aloe Vera gel. Thank you so much for sharing.
I saw someone scrape instead of scoop the aloe vera and it works great in eliminating the big chunks also I used a flexible rectangle plastic bowl to pour the aloe and it was not messy at all.
Love how long their natural hair is, they are so beautiful !!!
🥰thank you 🥰🥰
I have seen a lot of comments coming at her for saying the aloe leaf has "poison". Some people are allergic to it and that may be why they think it is better to remove it, based on their own first hand experience with it. Almost every video containing aloe on YT has said the exact same thing about the "yellow stuff". To let it soak/sit in a bowl or cup of water. But, I agree that it is misleading. There are just more direct ways to let her know.
Ppl r allergic to lots of things even animals, with due respect, no dissing, she could use other terms, she's coloured not white, black ppl need stop acting like those whites, we r suppose to know these things, we grew up in it, our ancestors grew up in it, we can learn about them, this is our culture, some ppl need to stop Americanizing, and be down to Earth, be local, we r killing of the African in us when we does that, our heritage, we r dealing with natural stuff here, herbs, our culture, am NOT discrimination, NOT disrespect, NO anger, just saying it like it is, a blessed, blessed day to u 🙏🕊.
I guess google is misleading too I just check out what she say and type- is aloe Vera latex poisonous (maybe you can type is aloe Vera latex poisonous and see what you find but this what I find =Aloe latex or whole-leaf extract taken orally might be unsafe and is likely unsafe in high doses. Taking 1 gram a day of aloe latex for several days can cause acute kidney failure and can be fatal. Aloe latex might also have the potential to cause cancer. Other side effects include abdominal cramps and diarrhea.
@@catmoseis4342 that's ridiculous to say every black person should know this stuff. All families cultures are not the same & this is not the 1940's, it's 2021 things change over the decades.
@@dawncolliee5474am standing by what I said, aloe Vera is not poisonous, my dad drinks it, and he's still alive, eighty-seven years, we just have to take it in proportion, to much of anything is not good.
@@catmoseis4342 that totally wasn't my point at all, I didn't say anything about poison.

When putting the aloe vera gel in the application bottle.... try using a large funnel tube to drain it in the bottle.
Hopefully, it might help with the process for next time...
Also, I'm wondering 🤔🤔 maybe to use a spoon to swirl it around in the funnel tube (might be quicker to drain in the application bottle)
Thank you for the video.... 💜
Information was very knowledgeable.
@cm04 thank you so much for this information and I will definitely try it on my next use I did order a funnel 🥰🥰🥰thank you again
