Amazing video!.. i love the T-50. One question though. Your channel has a fairly low sub count but you still got sponsored? Thats inspiring for a Newtuber here.
Probably the difference is that he has real followers. Many UA-cam channels pay for fake followers.
I do have a larger IG presence which is often how I am getting the attention of brands. I want to point out that this video was not sponsored though - they just loaned me the camera (there were no deliverables discussed, I just decided to make a youtube video since I saw it as an opportunity to have content about the camera early)

I wonder if to get this or the X-T5 , price diffrence is not that much of a big deal, but the Xt-5 has some advantages.
I do have a question , does it feel cheap or plasticy? I'm sure an Xt-5 would feel better but how is the 50?
I had an Xt-20 a while ago, felt alright (Also had X-T3/4 and still have and xt-2 I couldn't sell ) .
Not at all. Felt very sturdy in my hands - basically the same quality build as any other solid Fujifilm camera. Stiff, strong, but still light

Nice video, thanks for posting. I have a question regarding the new 5th generation sensor. Are there any improvements besides the pixel count? Some youtubers mentioned that new sensor has more vivid and punchier colors versus 4th gen with more flat and muted output. I narrowed down to XS20 and XT50, but 26 megapixels is more than enough for me. On the other hand, if new sensor has batter output, I want it to get one.
I plan to use Jpeg with film simulations.
I can't speak to the XS20 as i haven't used it but what I can say is the new sensor in the X-T50 definitely does pack a higher level of quality. I will say I'm a bit bias as I come fro using an XT3 daily (an older camera now) but I've used the X100IV, XT5 and others and the X-T50 stands right along side them in terms of image quality

I feel like they should not be putting that battery in cameras anymore. They need to put the 235s in them from now on. Great review though.

How does the viewfinder compare to xt3
Very similar since the placement of it is in the center, just like on the XT3. Difference is the the XT50 is smaller, so when holding horizontal, I can look through the viewfinder, but see more of the scene with my other eye!

Fujifilm really has lost my interest in the past 2-3 years. The only camera I see as worthwhile from them is the X100 series. I think Fuji is losing the vision especially as we haven’t seen an X-Pro 4/X-E5 which I would argue would’ve made infinitely more sense at these price levels. The X-T50 literally makes no sense whatsoever from a price perspective. And for people who say “it’s smaller”, the X-T series is MINISCULE compared to the rest of the market.
I for one am waiting to see what other manufacturers do. Might even get a Nikon Zf, but Fuji really needs to push something unique other than the X100VI out.

the price is unbearable. 1400, seriously? I have an xt20 as a second camera, and i was thinking of upgrading to this. but, that's a no for me. I was expecting below 1000$
Facts! Fujifilm is crazy for this price point just get an XT5 or XS20
@@Iamquiroga I'd definitely go for an xt5 for that price. The thing is, i keep xt20 as a small second camera. Xt5 is nowhere near small. I'll stick with my 20 or maybe get a 30 II. Not this

Not weather sealed, old battery, and still $1400.. nah..
The battery is terrible! And the camera is too small for me. I can barely hang onto the XT5, as the XT4 was the perfect size for my hands! I hope Fuji stops making their cameras any smaller!

There's definitely a market for it. I don't really look at this as a comparison to the XT5 as much as I do a solid alt to the X100IV. IMO 99% of people getting an X100IV would be better served by this camera.
But thats just an opinion!

remember its chargeable by usb c in your hotel room with your phone, youve no need to even look at the battery, are you going to empty it in a day? This isnt a camera for long photo explorations is a travel/casual camera

honestly don't disagree, definitely a cool camera but also a hefy price tag. I'm probably gunna snag an x-t5
