We just got back to NZ from Ho Chi Minh last week. And we booked XO Tours based on this video. And I can't thank you enough. My wife and I certainly recommend them. It was the best food tour we've ever taken. Very enjoyable and the guides were the best.
There are some back of the scooter food tours in HCMC but from what I've seen on UA-cam and research, XO tour was one of the first one and their drivers are exclusively women as that was the founder's mission, to give more opportunities to women. I also think XO tour provide insurance for the clients and their women drivers have better English skills and I can see it with these women here that did your trip. I hope you guys enjoyed the food tour and big thumbs up for your being open minded and adventuresome.
Hi Lloyd and Mandy, I've had a few heroes over my time but you two have just hit the top. I'm way too old now to try these types of adventures but still admire the way you guys look for the best way to experience local life. Look forward to your next episode.
we've traveled to Vietnam every year before covid for 19 years, Saigon is busy and fun. Going back next year for two months with my Vietnamese wife..can't wait
You guy smart to have people tour guide for you that's good idea to help you to know what is going on in the city and people local ..etc also prevent bad people to make trouble to you and your partner once again welcome to Saigon ( Ho Chi Minh city ) I like you video
Wow just stumble on here and i have to say glad to see both couple experiencing new culture that they never seen before. Life too short to live out the adventure so do it while you can🤟. Welcome to my country.
That is full on guys. Well done. Great fun and exploration. The food on a bike tour looks a great way to orientate yourself into what is the best assortment of local food. Get to taste a good range very quickly and understand what you are eating. If it was me I think I would have left those eggs alone. Definitely the fully formed baby duck.
That's a great business to find. So convenient for the traveller. I'll be using their local knowledge too. Good video and Lloyd, you've got food courage. Good on those two ladies.
Thanks for a great video. Looks like a good life experience that you will have forever. Maybe this is the land for your settlement ? So many interesting places still to explore. Good luck and happy travels. .
The late fantastic chef Anthony Bourdain ate palpitating cobra heart in Vietnam. Can we see you guys eat that. Love your posts look forward to seeing them. Great work. Thank you.
Your guys music choices a d way you implement it in your videos is top shelf. Many people get it wrong and it ruins the videos but your music and editing really elevates the whole thing. Great job
Awesome guys, glad you were adventurous enough to try something new and a bonus to find the food surprisingly good. Have a wonderful time travelling and exploring. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
Thank you for showing us this video. We are going to visit Ho Chi Minh City in November and we will try the food tour with XO Food. It is our first time visiting Asia.
we just got back from Vietnam on Tuesday to freezing Melbourne, we stayed in landmark 81 Friday night ,are you going phu quoc ,best place in Vietnam imo
I recently found your channel and currently going back to watch your adventure from the beginning until this point. So jealous that your in Vietnam. Left as a 5 year old with my parents and unfortunately the rat race in Los Angeles has prevented to going back to my native country. My wife has like a billion of friends there and in another world we could have been your private “friendtour” guides. On to the next video. Has anyone binge watched your channel yet? I might be the first 😝😝😝 Cheers!
Lloyd is the man! I'm a 31 years old Vietnamese and the fully formed baby duck scares the shit out of me. I probably will never grow enough balls to try it.
your both amazing i subscribed to your channel because you eat balut 🤣just kidding I search about vietnam to check if is a great place to visit when I watch your video and foundout your awsome experienced thanks once again for sharing videos.😊😉
You should contact with Max McFarlin. Hes an American but he traveled and ate all the local foods from south to north of VN, I meant he tried all Vietnamese cuisine more than local people
Well done guys, just came across your videos, really well produced. Mate eating a fertilised egg and the beak Holy Dooly, what are you thinking :0. Going to Saigon in November and I will definitely go on the XO tours, no beak for me though thanks for sharing, keeping making those memories :)
That white meat patty that Mandy likes is called Cha Lua, some westerners like (my ex gf) finds it weird as they think it taste processed. However, it’s made with fresh pork or chicken, sometimes fish/squid, and it also has flour in it, which gives it a slightly bouncy texture. It’s delicious 👌
May I know the link to the guy eating balut video at 1:41? It looks hilarious and I’d love to watch it! Sài Gòn looks amazing and I hope to be able to go again one day!
Great videos guys♥️. Planning a trip to Vietnam this December with the family of my good buddy...& I'm pretty much looking forward doing this food tour also. I wonder how much does it cost to get a tour like you did? Not looking forward too much with the Balut because it's normal here in my country, love Balut ✌️.
If you guys are into adventurous eating, should have tried the coconut worms. Phuc Map had a few people try it on his video recently and it was a great video. LOL!
Please check out Gary butler The roaming cook who is a food vlogger and has just made a recent video about Saigon. He always marks where he eats in the description. Anyway you may have left Saigon by now.
U2 are really funny and precious, I love to watch your video, I am envie to be more like you but I am to old 69 on the 21 June. Thank you for all the beauty and fun eating you do...................U2 are funny
You were most fortunate to find locals to show you around. Well done! The natives are friendly by nature and eager to help Foreigners navigate their country. Oh,. and about what I said under an earlier video, wherein Lloyd spoke about losing your widow's peak to a barber., I mentioned that I am not a fan of Leonardo De Caprio nor of that Helmsworth chap. Their movies are a bit tepid to my mind. I do like directors for whom each has worked but not their bodies of work, per se.
Don't think I could eat some of these things as I'm a picky eater. At the beginning of video you said traveling for 7 months, where did you like best? I just found your channel so sorry if you have answered this before. How much longer do you plan to travel before making a decision of where to settle?

The 2 food tour ladies are awesome.
@Cô Hoa Xứ Huế Your comments isn't correct each region has their own culinary culture not just North VN.
XO tours are the best! I encourage anyone going to Vietnam to go on one. You won't be disappointed.

It’s not too late my friend. Just go somewhere
A hero is a fireman who saves a child from a burning building , not traveller's on a food tour strange choice of words 🤔 😀😮

Sometimes you remind me of Phoebe from friends in the best possible way. Your laugh is infectious! 😁

This tour is a seriously great investment 👍 !!!!
Hello, I have fun with you. I have traveled to different countries.
Don't think I could eat some of these things as I'm a picky eater. At the beginning of video you said traveling for 7 months, where did you like best? I just found your channel so sorry if you have answered this before. How much longer do you plan to travel before making a decision of where to settle?
Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh là thiên đường của ẩm thực , nhất là về đêm các hàn quán vỉa hè có rất nhiều người ăn nhậu no say...
Be adventurers, life’s good enjoy it.
How much did you pay for the XO scooter service per day?
What is the company that take you guys on Tour?
