    Below the nuts there is a hole that leads to the inside of the door. Be very careful not to drop nut as you unscrew because you'll have to remove the whole door trim to get it out.

      That's correct, becareful not to drop the nuts !..

      @@handyguy6273 This may or may not be based upon bitter personal experience 🙂
      A small sponge works well to block up the hole as a safety net...

    do I have to disconnect battery first to unplug/pluging the mirror connector?

    • @handyguy6273
      @handyguy6273  7 років тому +1

      I didn't see any warning to disconnect battery before unplugging the mirror connector at my technical references. While I was doing the mirror uninstall and install job, the ignition was switched off(engine not working) and mirror control switch at center position.

    Hi! do you know the name of that triangle ahead of the side mirror?

    • @handyguy6273
      @handyguy6273  6 років тому +1

      Hi, I don't know the name but the triangular trim piece and the mirror are sold together as attached to each other not as seperate parts. I hope this helps to you. :-)

    How much does the new mirror costs.

    • @handyguy6273
      @handyguy6273  6 років тому

      Sorry but I don't know the current prices.As I remember, there was considerable price difference between genuine and aftermarket ones.

    My rearview mirror is broken. Now the engine light is on. Is it because of broken mirror ? Plz reply

      There should be another problem! I would try OBD check for any fault codes.
