This is the best video for advice on growing Cattleya orchids that I have seen. No truly irritating music, no shoving advertised products in my face, and not a moment wasted on cutesy babble. I appreciate this straightforward delivery and very good advice. Thank you for posting this most helpful video.

Exactly the information I needed for repotting my Irene Finney here in Utah. Logee's is wonderful! We just visited Logee's when we were visiting my mother-in-law in RI. We picked up a couple of goldfish plants. The staff is always so helpful. And we always love to see the lemon tree!

Already knew quite a bit about Cattleyas but this was a good presentation. Picked up a few things I was not aware of. Thank you.

Beautiful orchids you have there. I wonder how you manage the temperature. They thrive very well here in Brazil due to warm weather

I just got a baby Cattleya with 8 suitables, my first for me 😀. In a 2" pot, it was a challenge to stabilize her in her pot. I had to use 3 stake to do so. I think I broke many roots. Doing so. 😬. I'm hopeful. I'll know in 2 years when I have to repot again.. Thank u for all the info u give..

Thanks so much for this video! I'm repotting today as a newly repotted set have not been doing well. They're in too much shade and were reported with stones, coal and bark.

Thank you for pronouncing the genus name Cattleya correctly i.e. Kat-Lee-Ya and NOT as so often heard in North America as :- Kat-Lay-Ya. The name comes from my ancestor William Cattley who's name you will note can only be pronounced as Kat-Lee so exactly why people insist on altering it is a mystery to me.

Tim Cattley ..it’s called dialect, in different places around the world the same word can be pronounced similar and slightly different as to what you know, so dont get hung up just because you say a word your way , you know exactly what there saying so no need to be a pompous snob about it.
