Nice! I've got you some more: 1) walking with Diego to the Place of Exchange gives Nostalgia bonus +500 XP 2) opening one of the chests in the castle spawns a minor skeleton 3) killing Ice Dragon apparently spawns five Lizardmen on the frozen river, near mine 4) you can learn how to extract bloodfly poison to heal yourself by reading a parchment in the castle 5) you can get XP from Marcus, if you come back to him and say that you told Garond to help him 6) Talbin desperately wants cheese but in the locked chest near him there is some 7) wearing bandit's armor lets you avoid them attacking you 8) The flooded Xardas' tower in chapter 4 has a body of a dragonhunter with a black pearl 9) There is a shaman in a cave above wolves, on the left and above where we find Olav's body 10) in the cave where Gilbert lived in Gothic 1, there is now a letter explaining that he ran away
I have an even better one: in the khorinous map near the stone circle were you heal the eye of innos if you enter the mine in the middle of staircase which goes the opposite direction of the lonely hunter and black troll, inside you'll find a part of path blocked with a massive boulder that looks as if it's part of the cave wall. But using the marvin mode and passing through the boulder there is a hidden section of the cave that you will find the corpsese of all important npcs that up to that point have been removed from the game. The mercenaries that have been replaced by dragon hunters, murdered paladin lothar, and in the last chapter even Xardas.
@@PersiaAhmad u can enter there without Marvin u can just stay really close to boulder and use a transform scroll then you can loot their bodies without cheating :D
RILLEY IMPORTANT This sheep is a curiosity from gothic 1 it resembles a dialogue with a warrior whose father was rumored that he was playing with sheeps at least in Polish dialogue
Using transformation scrolls to kill all the enemies means you get no hp gains on levels. Its the same as in Khorinis. and the place you get the orcs stuck by the siege? Get a speed potion, rain of fire, storm 2x, etc and run around the castle, agro all the orcs SLOWLY, and lead them all at once to that area and cast rain of fire. Its like 25000 xp if you get them all. *Just to add to this comment. I am literally doing my 100nth playthrough of this game. You can basically shoot straight for level 8-10 FIRST (moderate speed playthrough), getting the HP gains (run past enemies until you are ready to slaughter them, quests primarily), then go back and do the transformation shadowbeast\dragonsnapper\firelizard thing and wipe all the PITA monsters behind Mercenaries\Onar in the forest, and the ones up on the cliff where Khorinis pass is and only gain 1-2 levels with zero hp gain. You miss out on maybe 60hp, but its worth massive time savings (you get two groups of bandits too, one has Elvrich this is where you should start as not to agg him. If you do and kill him. Marvin, target, press "O", then f8, target player. press "O"). You can save a few hours of quicksave\load by doing it this way. Any experienced player should AT LEAST be getting to level 7-8 before they do this! *I will add again. If you are playing mage in NOTR DO NOT gain more than 1-2 levels with transformation scrolls! You will not have the HP you need to survive. It is the hardest of all classes by far first 4 chapters
The waterfall cave I remembered from Gothic 1 :) In Gothic 2, went to that waterfall and I was like 'There used to be a cave behind that', pass throw the waterfall and BOOM, it was still there. It gave me such a nostalgia back then.
5) you can get up there if you drop an item that is big enough, walk on top of it and jump the dragon egg from you get from the frost dragon works pretty well for me
For 4:53 there is a legit way to get up. Just drop a dragon egg, walk onto it to make yourself higher. Press Alt and your character will leap to the 2nd floor.
#4 scared me so bad the first time I played it, had my headphones on at a loud volume and was totally not expecting that Orc scream when opening the chest. lol
Those 2 underwater caves are known (at least for me) from 1st game, and if you (cheated) teleport to castle (or somewhere else), skipping cutscene (that's important!!), those 2 dead knights from beginning of the video are alive and provably some other thing are changed, I don't remember, that's wierd 😄. Cheers.
To get the chest at the entrance of the bandit fort you need to drop a strongbox (flavour item with the purpose of selling), get on it and then jump. Geht also auch ohne command.
It’s hard to imagine that they never thought of a bar with 10 places that just copy the item picture from the inventory… it would be such a easy task for every programming noob…
Is it still true that: Transforming in to a monster and leveling up, will not give you the +12 HP boost? And also does the glitch still exist where if you transform into a monster with stat-boosting equipment, will cause your character to get an extra stat boost once you change back? (Because the game handles the stat-boosting equipment as your characters stats, where if you transform back you can equip the items once more) I remember these used to be a thing but I thought maybe they fixed it in NotR or a community patch :) Awesome video though!
Maybe someone said this. Or it's in another video. There's an easter egg in Jharkindar. It's an old car in the place that looks like a desert. It's way up on the rim of the canyon.
Amazing video bro!, I really like your videos, I know all the facts :), I played this game a lot, part of my childhood, so I love it so much and I never get bore while playing it, even if it is the 6th I finish the game :)
Interesting. All these Quest helpers and signs on the map(go here to finish the quest/ to look for a "hidden" place) are actually bad for a RPG in my opinion. Look at Gothic 1+2, still our favourite RPG storywise and jokes and stuff, i really enjoyed this thing that you had to actually figure out everything for yourself and keep the information in mind the NPC´s told you and you had to find special places for your own and they are actually well hidden in most cases. Also you were able to value things you explored for yourself. My favourites: 1) When i arrived in Khorinis the first time, back in times as a kid, i turned left and saw a guy peeing at the wall(prolly a nostalgia thing for myself^^). 2) A sign behind the Orc Wall(where the army of the orcs is supposed to be) telling you that you have cheated to get there in a very funny way!
You know I never used transform scrolls. I didn't think I could attack as well. Now i'm going replay Gothic 2 and turn into something and attack monsters. Will be fun. Subscribed (anyone who loves to play gothic should be subscribed)
4:45 really? Including a "tip" with hacks? Just drop the bigger mushrooms (no idea what they're called in English) in front of the ledge that is too high to reach, step in them and jump. The height boost will be enough. Also, please use the scrolling wheel when going through the inventory if you want to scroll down quickly. Or at least use the down arrow, don't scroll side to side. It's ridiculous.
Ive been playing this game since 2005 well I pretrynmuchbknownallnofbthis stuff. But I am so glad there are other people that loves this game so much. Anyway ellusion guide will reallybhelpnyouba lot if you are still a beginneron this game.
Hi. Great vid. You are showing some cool stuff, some are usfefull other less, however at this point Gothic actually do not exist as a standalone game. Most of the Gothic fans are moding the game. Perhaps you could do some content from mods? L'hiver or Returning? That would be something new on UA-cam
What is your opinion about the future of the gothic franchsie? Btw: Your videos are cool, Gothic 1,2,3 especially the first two epidoses are the best games ever.
Gábor Tóth Thanks! I think Dzieje Khorinis (Polish mod) will definitely bring back old players so we will see an influx in the community... if it comes out of course. However, unless PB decide to make a remaster of Gothic or make a true sequel I guess Gothic will slowly fade away with us.
small tip. i found this video by random i dont know you or your channle but when the first thing i her is plz share this videos give likes etc. i normaly downvote the video and move on. Sell everything you get as loot to Sengrath in Chapter 2. You can recover it all from his corpse in chapter 4
One thing gothic told me back in the day, ALWAYS check the waterfalls for hidden caves.
I do it in any game I play
Wow didnt know about the first cave with the snapper scroll
Me too. I wonder if the cave exists also in first Gothic.
Yeah, the cave is in Gothic 1. But there is nothing in there.

Dragonsnapper is more a double edged sword it helps you a bit but it can happen that you miss on hp gains and your stats can get bugged.
At swamp dragon pedestal there is also one dragon root (herb that gives you +1 strenght)
