The command you were looking for is: insert stonepuma .
It spawns the unused puma.

Alligators were not added to the game because they needed new animations and behaviour. The "current" ones just behave fully like a lizard. The cat you were talking about in 8:08 is "stonepuma" (insert stonepuma), which is basically a shadowbeast (but a different model). Puma was not included because it didn't really fit the game - they could add it but it'd look very off. Also, pumas had two different looks - the one you see upon inserting (so blue-ish) and one that looked like petrified, basically a stony body (only texture differences). You can only see the other version of her if you mod the game.
Some things on the Tombstones are Eastereggs from Gothic1 like "Everything will be fine" was a Passwort in the Old Mine for the Minecrawler Nest to open the Gate to it, i think.
On the zone where Dexter is, the other building with towers has a magic bow on the very top. Pretty easy to reach it.
Gothic 2 is my favorite PC game of all time, thank you for keeping it alive (or at least undead).
I wonder, maybe you could do guides for Leveling up in the future? Gothic 2 NotR has some of the tightest min maxing I've ever experienced and I found it impossible to play when I first played it. It would be great to see a compilation of tips and strategies to take some of the frustration out of my playthroughs.

not sure if that is still in the game, but in my old version of Gothic 2, there was a glitch where the smith at the bandit camp could sell you an infinite amout of raw iron because he would restock after one click of working in his smithy. So you could just buy everything, let him work for a second and then by the respawned iron. Forever. And if you became the smith's apprentice in Khorinis...tadaa, infinite money.

There is a glitch/Bug where if you get hit by a mob just as you drink a potion you get the option effect but the potion dont get consumed. Meaning if you drink a str pot and get hit you will get the Bonus with getting the potion back (at least thats in Gothic 2 NOTR)
it works in all gothic games i don't really count gothic 3 becaus eit's a disgrace...
Btw you can spawn the blue cat by typing insert Stonepuma.

Thanks for your vids man. Gothic was very popular in Poland. I still remember becoming a paladin for the 1st time! I know I didn't find the heavy paladin armor the first time around though :P

That is exactly what I did too.
Alligator Jack actually mentioned how there are no more Alligators around anymore, so my guess is they either found no way to implement them or they ran out of time but didn't want to change the character's name. Strange. As for the cougar, I believe there's absolutely no mention of it whatsoever. Maybe they were just testing the models with that skin and figured it wouldn't fit? Not to mention, it shares the same model with the shadowbeast, just like the alligator and the lizard. Maybe they just didn't want to recycle the models too often, idk.
1 year late but meh. You remember this guy hunts Alligators right? So in my opinion Jack exterminated whole Alli population in jarkendar.

Well trolls aren't rly scummy thing or anything. They are big and strong but very slow. Kinda makes sense that if you can stay behind him then you can kill him
Try playing the returning 2.0 expansion, it makes the game huge and you can find a lot of new locations, monsters, weapons and quests.

Just commenting the alligator one: there is also an insert code for panthers. Both panthers and alligators were supposed to appear in Jharkendar, but they were cut for unknown reasons.

For gold just go to Onar sleep a 100 times Bennet will have hundreds of raw iron, buy em make swords, enjoy the money that you probs wont even manage to spend all.
My sister fought agains black troll for like 45 minutes with that basic wooden weapon :D

Not just an alligator there is also an panther and a flyswarm enemy but i dont remember the insert codes

i disagree with the troll, you have to do that 5 minutes straight without a single mistake. And it's only 5oo experience one time... same as 5 field raiders, big deal. in fact it's probably easier to kill 5 field raiders. Also can you please take the worms out of your fingers? moving the character and camera 24/7 makes me dizzy. You make yourself look like an ADHD kid who ate too much sugar
