    I used to own a 1967 chev c10 half ton truck. 250 inline six. Turbo 400 transmission. Power stearing, power brakes, manual windows. 25 miles per gallon at 70 miles per hour! It could safely and easily handle 1800 pound loads. No sensors, You could fix anything on it with basic tools 😊. New vehicles are just a nightmare, and a huge moneydrain! 😢

It's got control over every country and fixing to redesign the world as we knew it to be. Joe's one of their puppets. Their plan for cars and things is we'll be subscribers to everything as services which could be a convenient system instead of big loans, debt economics, and an economic system super tricky to qualify for car and home loans. 2020's America no longer makes sense ensuring the need for the great reset 2030. They are awful. The battery packs cost more than a loaded Camry and never get a break. The place runs 24/7. The batteries are not taken care of. Also will they refuse a swap if your battery has depleted by a certain amount? possibly. Or you may get a battery in a poorer condition than yours as a exchange. And if someone gets a faulty one and combusts who is liable? Can see some problems here' Plus the mega amount of power needed. If the battery contacts are spring loaded and not mechanically bolted that's a failure point with frequent changes too as the contacts wear.

  • @JulianEstate
    @JulianEstate 2 місяці тому +5

    One main problem, that’s above any other problems with the battery swapping format and ev’s in general, is that the buyer becomes fully reliant on the battery swap centers. If the centers are closed, say government action, all ev’s zoom to a halt. With gas, it has private reserves, and with rechargeable ev’s, they also have private reserves as a power source, but battery swap ev’s DO NOT.

      NIO Cars can be charge using DC Wallbox in China because NIO Cars does not have AC onboard Charger in Chinese version. But for EU version they have 11kW AC onboard or DC Fast Charge so you can charge at home or office. Power Swap Station does not consume high power at a short time like charging battery. NIO power swap station have information about upcoming battery swapping users and manage to consume the power according to the battery swap volume.

    Never buy a Chinese made vehicle and especially not one if it contains Lithium batteries. Their vehicles and motor scooters are catching on fire while driving down the road. Not safe at all. China doesn’t make things that last…and they don’t have appropriate safety regulations either….so their “battery swapping stations” shouldn’t be trusted either. It’s completely different if you are buying from an American company that happens to manufacture in China…the quality is better…..but something made by a Chinese company is garbage and unsafe and not going to last. Plus they always falsely promote everything they build as being “great” and then their bridges and buildings collapse…their elevators don’t arrive but the doors open and people walk in and plummet to their death…they even get caught in elevator doors….their escalators fall apart and people fall into the machinery and die….you can’t trust anything they say about anything they make.

The 100kWh contract can be lending by the other NIO users who go for spring holiday during the long trip and the NIO users who did not go for holiday and stay in the city will get point for lending battery for others NIO cars users. Battery 150kWh is available for rent when the users need to go out for remote area with less charging station and no swap station and the battery is very costly and rarely use by daily users.

    This would completely remove the expense of the battery from EV's! After you've bought an electric vehicle. You would be set for life as far as the battery for your vehicle goes. Leaving the battery exchange company with warehouses full of batteries that will no longer hold a charge.
    I don't see how battery exchange companies would be able to do and still have prices that were anywhere near reasonable. And not only would they be stuck with potentially hundreds of thousands to many millions of unserviceable batteries per year. They'd be on the hook to dispose of them. Something that would be very very costly.
    And lastly, here in the United States to be practical the exchange points would need to be as common as gas stations. Whiles storing hundreds to thousands of batteries in a relatively small footprint.
    This sounds good. But work about as well as if GM pulled your engine and replaced it every time you needed an oil change, assuming they had come up with quick release motor mounts.

    • @matthewhuszarik4173
      @matthewhuszarik4173 3 місяці тому +2

      You wouldn’t need thousands of batteries. Charge them to 80%-90% giving ~350 miles of range. When they get brought back they would probably have 10%-20% remaining charge. These batteries could be charged up in a couple hours easily. So you would only be required to have a couple hours demand of batteries. Do maybe a hundred or two at most.

      @@matthewhuszarik4173-- You're fooling yourself. Do you have any idea how much business a gas station in a populated city gets per hour, let alone per day? Even at 200 batteries in stock, they wouldn't be able to keep up. A study would have to be completed at each station site within a city for potential business, that's for starters. Then allowances would have to be made for holidays when people travel most and for summer time when people travel more. Then there's safety considerations. If that station with hundreds of batteries ever catches fire, oh my goodness, it would be a serious disaster!! They have enough problems putting out a fire on one EV alone. If a city was smart, they would isolate that station far away from other buildings with tons of fire protection!!

Once the Ottomans conquered Constantinople the Portuguese figured out the technology to be able to sail around Africa which led to a naval arms race between various Europeans for domination in the Atlantic. Here's the thing, battery swap stations still do not solve the inherent drawback with batteries, that's the long recharge time. Say a station has a long line of car customers. Eventually the station will run out of charged batteries for the next car and the same issue ensues, long wait for the charged battery. The throughput is still nowhere compared to that of a gas station. For smaller batteries such as those in scooters then sure, its a perfect solution

    • @mengqingz
      @mengqingz 2 місяці тому

      If you do some research you'll know that the batteries being recharged go in a full cycle, so by the time the last battery gets swapped, the first battery will be fully charged and ready to be swapped, so this cycle goes non stop and the station will never run out of charged battery

    • @OM-bs7of
      @OM-bs7of 2 місяці тому

      @@mengqingz ok then brainiac, such a system still would not be efficiently scalable. Each battery takes roughly an hour to recharge and each swap takes five minutes. Do the math and think of the sheer amount of space needed, poor usage of space. Note that all this is only for ONE vehicle so the entire thing would need to be cloned for each additional car being swapped in parallel

    • @mengqingz
      @mengqingz 2 місяці тому

      @@OM-bs7of this sheer amount of space you're talking about is just a 3 units of car spaces, and they'll always install 2 super chargers on the side, so for 5 units of car spaces you get one swap station that has the maximum capacity of 480 swaps daily (although real number would be less due to the time vehicle driving in and out of the station) and 2 fast chargers. Currently the batteries are stationed in the box on the ground, but they could move it underground beneath the station, or they can stack it up above the station, the design is limitless for expansion

    I thought about this concept 8 years ago but my idea was to pull up between two toll booths and the battery slides out to the left while a fresh battery slides in to the right. I also thought the batteries would be stored and charged under ground of the toll looking booth for safety and to prevent theft. But who am I lol just a hobbyists that used to build batteries from recycled ev.

I suppose the long term outlook will be lower overall as the sources of energy shift more towards renewable. We aren’t there yet, but it’s getting closer. I don’t have a feeling one way or the other. I said years ago this is the way forward, You buy a car without a battery which saves at least third of the price, There are 2 systems the large car only battery but they also do a small battery around the size of a gallon can, so a car may hold 4 to 10 but when you get home you can take a single battery out of the car and use it on your compatible mower you can get an adapter so you can power your house and the batteries are stoed on a rack outside at petrol stations you place your flat batteries into the rack, pay for however many charged batteries you need and they will ber unlocked, if you are short of money you can replace 1 battery and your car will run a short distance or replace them all if you are feeling rich.
