Hi Alice. No for a uturn there’s no requirement for indicators it could give false information to other road users (shouldn’t be any around but you may miss them) and they may thing you’re pulling away from the side of the road.
Keeping the throttle steady, above idle, hearing a nice rev, but not red lining and keeping the clutch in the friction zone. It takes practice. This is a fine instruction.✌🏾
It would be useful for beginners to see your hands controlling the throttle and the clutch as well as a closer view of the motorcycle. Such instructions exist on UA-cam. I will advice serious learners to search for them and skip this video.
This video is just a helping hand to those embarking on their learning journey with my training school. If you want to learn all the necessary skills to perform any motorcycle manoeuvres then my advice is to visit your nearest training school & qualified instructor. UA-cam is helpful but nothing replaces being in front of an instructor. The advice you should be giving them is to visit an instructor for an in person lesson not forwarding them to more UA-cam videos.
Some solid advise, great instructor.
That’s very kind thank you 😊
5:37 Engine off with left hand, right hand on brake!
Bike was clearly in neutral, clutch lever fully in & rear brake applied all safety aspects covered. Thanks for your comment though.
Excellent
Thanks for your feedback
Don't you use indicators?

Would you expect the bike to be on full lock during the U-turn?
Hi not for the u turn you can see here as there is plenty of room. For much tighter u turns possibly
Are you using clutch only, no throttle?
A combination of throttle & clutch
