Conflicting messages from dog trainers. Some say don't get them to do anything else when they come.
as we want to train my dog to be a gun dog should i still play tug
i recommend watching gundog academy they have a full walkthrough of how to train a gundog from day one.
Why "good come"? Sounds like diluting the cue.
If you saw the date, this is from 2016. It was quite popular at the time to "reinforce" the behavior with the word. I no longer do this, but the rest of the video is still applicable and good material.
