Simple and gorgeous. The juxtaposition with text and music is very kind to my AuDHD brain.

I recently paid for a tutorial on gel printing at my home. This was a fabulous review. I particularly like the fact that there was no verbal explanation, just the images. Well done!

I loved how you layered colours. When I tried the gelli plate for the first time I found that my papers got stuck so badly that when I pulled them off they tore and it was difficult to clean my plate. Today I realised that I used my brayer incorrectly. I brayered the paper up and down, but saw that you only went one way across and one way up or down and you used more paint than I did. Thank you for the video. I am a visual learner and appreciate visual tutorials so much.

Thank you, especially for the accordion book part! Those are excellent! I just watched someone using smaller prints on greeting cards/ note cards, applying small squares with masked off edges to a colored card. She used some masked off cartoon-like simple shapes, then doodled with black marker.
I am not able to think of what I’d use the kitchen parchment prints for- the kind of parchment roll I have is somewhat non-stick.
Your format with music and written word information is enjoyable!

Thank you so much 💗 no unfortunately I don’t have a list of the colors. Just by looking at the video it looks like it’s a mix of different brands. I can see Martha Stewart, Artiste acrylics from docraft and a really cheap brand from Søstrne Grene. But you can use any kind of acrylic paint.

Very nice for a beginner ! Where did you get your gel block to paint on and what size was it… also which brand of paints did you use…are these paints washable like if you use your stencils and roller.

Thank you🌸I bought my gel plate in an online shop. I don’t remember where. There are more than one brand. Search for gelpress or gelplate or gellipress. I think the one I use in this video is a square on 6x6, but there are all kind of sizes and different shapes. I have both smaller and bigger. And from different brands. I use acrylic paint, in the video, cheaper brands, like studio grade paint. But you can use for expensive acrylic paint as well. More liquid paint doesn’t work as well as thicker paint. Washable in some aspect but I don’t wash my roller. You can wash your plate with water.

Now I really want a gel press. Thank you very much. This gives me an idea of the things I could make. Can it be used with fabric such as muslin?

Thank you so much. 💖I use them for art journaling. Here’s one idea ua-cam.com/video/wWwuKLvoDLQ/v-deo.html but I ended up covering most of it. You never know how it is going to end up. It’s a process

Nice! I recognise things I use. How many pages is the concertina? Did you make the round corners? I wanna use the prints which are not so good for a concertina and make it "mixed media" collage.

Thank you. The corners where like that when I bought the concertina. I can’t remember how many pages but I think you can make one yourself and add as many pages as you want.

What papers can you use with this technique? Can you use watercolor paper too

My first thought, it might be too thick but I have never tried, so my best answer is try and see how you like it. 😊🌸
