0:12 😆 I like when companies fix weak points on products, and you get a replacement and they've fixed the issue on the new version. That happened to me with a desk chair. The legs bent, and the replacement base had supports welded across the legs. I'll know what to do if my housemates dyson breaks now 👍 Satisfying vid 🤌
Amazing teardown mate! I can't believe how many parts you had to remove for a single switch 🙉 Awesome video and great expertise for electronics! Keep up the great work 👊😊
Great tear-down, super easy to follow! My v11 trigger broke in the exact same way. I CA glued it back together and reinforced that spot with piece of paperclip and electrical tape. Super janky but it works like new.
Pretty in depth video just to replace the switch. That being said, awesome video! I have one I am repairing but will not be taking it down as far as you did. It is not as dirty and dusty as the one you worked on. I will blow it out and clean things. They are more concerned about the switch. I would have to charge a lot more if I did a total tear down like that. Being it is not mine, I cannot do that.
Question...you mentioned not having to bend the terminals, one of the terminals on my dyson v11 was snapped in half (long ways), would it effect the use of the vaccum ? And is it dangerous to continue using it ?
The V11 absolute pro series has upgraded their trigger system with better reinforcements around the trigger fulcrum. Also heat and abrasion are the enemy. They also updated the hepa filter and premotor filter by putting reinforcements to the webbing on the premotor filter and better sealing rubber O rings to prevent bypassing back into the motor housing causing abrasion and motor overheating. This also prevents the battery from overloading which in turn draws heat into the handle and softening the trigger fulcrum, causing it to crack and break. The new upgrade also includes a clip in removeable battery with a slight better and bigger handle opening for cooling. If you really want to reduce static cling of fine particulate in the cyclones and build up. Cut a few pieces of bounce sheet and throw it into the bin. It does marvels.

Do you know if the newer v11s have a better trigger. I just bought one sv28 2023 model.
Sorry, I have no experience with the new model. Hope you're happy with it though!
I found out that They have the updated v15 trigger. Thank you for your answer!

Hi, solid connections are essential to prevent arching and burning.
Where did you get that piece to hold the trigger on?
On amazon, search for INF or dyson trigger lock👍
Bonjour pourriez vous me dire ou avez vous acheté vos tournevis pliant tournevis flexible ?
Just google ifixit screwdriver set. I got mine at a local shop.
Hello sir what was that last auto trigger mechanism piece?
It's a trigger lock, search Amazon B08FM9327Y. Thanks for watching !
@@RestoredChannel cheers 👌 and thank you
Metalik filtreye hava tutsam sıkıntı olurmu ?
It translates to metallic filter?
Linkteki tetik daha güçlü gözüküyor v11 olurmu denediniz mi hiç
You are a machine!!😮
Thanks for watching!
Do you have a link for the trigger you used to repair the vacuum?

Dude, never mind the repair job...where did you get that cool mini socket / screwdriver set? 🧐
It's a Mako precision bit set from ifixit.
Can you link the tool set that you used?

Amazing!!!!!

Good there are so many repair videos for this well known issue it is, no Dyson ? This product was arround 600 euros ... Worked 1 year .
Nice work bro. What happened to the gloves? 😁
Thanks mate! Didn't need them for this project😉
@@RestoredChannel I like those "pervert" gloves 😂
🤣🤣
Should have been a piece of cake for me! Just broke both the circuit board contact connectors trying to get them through the cover piece. 😞
Once I take out all parts. Highly likely I will need to bring back to Dyson service Center ask them to reassemble back😂
🤣🤣👍
👍
maybe I don't remember to put back together🤣😂
