How To Replace The Battery: Husqvarna Automower 310, 315 & 315X
My Husqvarna Aautomower needed a new battery as it was randomly stopping all over the lawn. The original battery lasted for about 7 years (it was mowing every day). Other than replacing the battery I'm also cleaning the robot and changing to new blades.
I hope that you enjoy the video and don't forget to leave a like :) Thanks!

Bringing Back The Classic Gameboy: A Restoration Project
Переглядів 1,4 тис.Рік тому
The GameBoy was overall in good condition but the plastic had yellowed and there was no sound. I had trouble starting it as the battery terminal was heavily oxidized. After disassembly I noticed that the speaker cables had come loose, which was the cause for no sound :P The plasic parts were cleaned in hot water and the electronics with IPA. The corroded battery terminal is cheap to replace wit...
Jig Saw Repair
Переглядів 1,9 тис.Рік тому
This jig saw belongs to a friend of mine. I first thought it was a motor issue but when I opened it up I found a couple of parts that had come loose and some were broken off. The replacement parts were ordered from a Makita dealer. I decided not to replace the bearings on the motor as the jig saw was not that old and they seemed to be in good condition. After I had taken everything apart I clea...
Bit Holder Repair
Переглядів 83 тис.Рік тому
How to fix the bit holder of an impact driver. My DeWalt impact driver was dropping bits, this is common and luckily it's an easy fix with no special tools required. A spring inside the bit chuck wears out or breaks and needs to be replaced. I hope that you find this video helpful. Smash that like button if you enjoy the video and don't forget to subscribe. 🫤
My DeWalt Impact Driver was sold to me missing the ball bearing from factory, so I ordered a new one and some spring clips as well, because the one that's on there is almost impossible to get back on
Short & Sweet.. Thank's Bro..👍.👍.!
Thanks for watching 👊
I've had this drill for 12 years I think now. Starting to sing it's last verses with smoking from the engine and a bent clutch. It is solid, I'll give it that. Just not a particularIy precise tool nor a powerful one. I'm NOT sure if I will do your whole restauration, but THANK you! Well done.
Great all-rounder. Thanks for watching mate!
Pretty in depth video just to replace the switch. That being said, awesome video! I have one I am repairing but will not be taking it down as far as you did. It is not as dirty and dusty as the one you worked on. I will blow it out and clean things. They are more concerned about the switch. I would have to charge a lot more if I did a total tear down like that. Being it is not mine, I cannot do that.
where do you find replacement springs?
Amazon or ebay👌 thanks for watching
Whoever designed this drill is a work of art. All that grease is in there for a reason. Never work the same.. great video Humpty Dumpty fell off the wall.😊
Great video..but do u know how to fix a wobble chuck?
Just self-repaired by V10. Not difficult but tedious. And terrible design! Thanks for the video
Thank you, saved me some money thanks to this video
Awesome, thanks for watching!
Благодарю за видео! Проскакивала шестерёнка щетки насаженная на штырь. Разобрал, нагрел шестерёнку, зажал, вставил штырь плотно. Пока работает!😊
Very nice video. Thanks much
Thanks for watching mate!
So the brushless motors has no repairing?
Thanks for the video. As you said there is no screw to start from so your video was very helpful
Thanks for watching 🙏
Where did you get the new motor, and how much was it?
Bought it from a local parts shop for 12 eur. Thanks for watching!
Finally… someone saved the wood 😁👍
I just found my old gameboy, it needs fixing up and this video is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks
Awesome, have fun!😁
Blbci co vymýšlejí takové materiály. Kdyby byla firma co k čemu tak to opraví zdarma, vysavač za takové peníze.
not idiots, we are the idiots who buy all these overpriced and difficult to repair crap. never again for me. had 2 dysons
Where do you order the parts from
This was a very useful and well made video. It made for an excellent reference during my process of restoration. Thank you.
Glad to hear it. Thanks for watching!
Very very very very good thanks ❤❤❤
Do Dewalts not lock the bits like Makita? When I was using one the bit would stay no problem and not fall out like in this video but when I pull it unlike makitas they’re not locked in or was mine defective?
There are different techniques. Thanks for watching!
you had to paint threadlock at the end. Why? if it didn't had?
Where do you mean? Put timestamp for reference
Helped a lot, thank you. Mine wasn't even broken, just fell out of place
Where did you get the replacement springs?
They are available on Ebay or amazon.
I have an older Milwaukee impact driver and can't find a spring kit for that particular model number. Does anyone know if a kit for other Milwaukee models would fit and work correctly? Model is 2650-20
Hi. See if you can find it here. www.ereplacementparts.com/milwaukee-265020-b55b-volt-hex-impact-driver-parts-c-131_9593_155455.html?srsltid=AfmBOophdAJnwhf1qfg3UAxIC1s-pAYnkQDCL6KeWrOSVgu548yJl4I1
Great video Short and to the point Thank You
I FIGURED IT OUT. The little tab that holds the bearing needs bent DOWN, not up. When you bend it up it wants to scoop under the bearing and keep it pushed away from the bit, holding it up. You want it down so as the spring comes up the 2 little angles want to push the bearing inwards toward the recessed spot in the bit. Also make sure on the bottom of the spring it’s tight to the shaft, and on the top where it touches the bearing make it a little wider so it doesn’t hug the shaft tightly, but loosely. Also do shorten/compress the spring, but stretch one side on the bottom of the spring under the tab a little, make sure the coil under the tab is stretched so it constantly pushes on the bearing, that way with the way the tab is angled, it wants to constantly push the bearing inward.
What’s the part called so I can order
What model do you have?
@@RestoredChannelI was able to find it, I appreciate the fast response
👍😁
Good there are so many repair videos for this well known issue it is, no Dyson ? This product was arround 600 euros ... Worked 1 year .
is there a slower version of this video? I'm struggling with getting the screws out of the housing piece.
Yes😁 : ua-cam.com/video/Cww15s9csrA/v-deo.htmlsi=gmvimNR6Rz1-1B23
Thank you, man. My wife this morning give me exactly same device and i cannot open it. Your video was very helpful for me.
Glad to hear. Thanks for watching!
👍
Thanks mate, great view angle.
Thanks for watching mate
How the living hell did you pop off the bottom section in the beginning. Mine is not loose at all, and if I wouldn't have seen you take it off from the same model I could have sworn on my life that it's impossible.
It's not made to be taken apart so you have to be brutal🙃
It comes out. Just use a prying tool between the end piece and the selector. You'll find two holding point. Unfortunately I opened my wife's for nothing. The fan got cooked
Name of the parts?
What model?
What are you spraying onto the plate after removing the rust?
Wd40 or oil to prevent flash rust👍
🙌🏼
🙏😁
I'm surprised how small the battery is in these things 😮
Mee too😁
Quick pitstop for mower, nice and neat job! Well done 👊😆🍻
Haha it really was. Cheers!
@@RestoredChannel 😉
I really believe I wouldn't be able to get all the parts back together properly again 😂 Great video though!
Great video! But where can I get the springs?
Amazon or ebay. Thanks for watching mate
What spring size do I look up? Is there a link you can provide? Thank you so much.
I tried and failed a lot of times to do this and even ordered a new ball Thinking it was the problem. In the end it was the new spring catching on the back side of the collet, compressing the spring and disengaging the ball. The fix was adding more coil to the spring making it closer fit to the shaft and therefore not catching on the collet which should go all the way back without spring forward during assembly
Thanks for providing this video. It helped tremendously. Of course putting that last spring clip on was a bit of a challenge, but I got it. Thanks!
Glad to hear, thanks for watching mate!
Every restoration video where the restorer uses gloves, I already know it's going to be a shitty video. Gloves are for women.
Wow you stripped that down in record time!! So tell me, what can I do with a V6 motorhead that won't spin?? I've stripped it down (it took me a loooong time), taken out the tiny T8 (?) screw and removed the hair from the recess, cleaned all the contact points with alcohol after removing the dust dinosaurs😅 and still when I put it all back together it doesn't work. I got a knockoff replacement from Wish that works, so I know (I think I know!) the problem has to be in the motorhead itself. Any suggestions ? Because the Wish unit feels like it will punk out soon. I'd buy a Dyson replacement but that would mean my V6 will have cost me nearly, $400. Any suggestions??? It takes me ages but I will try!
Check the motor inside the head. That sounds like it is the problem in my opinion.
@misssummersalt any more specific instructions?? Or maybe a suggestion as to where I'd look for them? I have googled to the best of my ability and you sound like you know more!!
Is the model a DCF886
Wonderful work
Did you add another top coat after painting the numbers/letters?
Yes I added a clearcoat
