I’m doing a Henna treatment right now and I’m literally baking brownies as I’m watching this video 😂 I’m so glad you made this video! I’m a curly girl and can’t wait to try this mask!
Ah! I've spent my weekend just perusing the internet looking for something to throw together for today's wash day. Thank you for a wonderful recipe! I actually have all of these ingredients.
Hello!!! Congrats on your location. I used Cassia, amla, and aloe powders together, didn't add oil. I love it! I used sukesh and I think I need to use it with less add-ins to determine how I feel about it. But all in all, you have great products! Which l learned about from Curly Proverbz, so I have to plug her! My very, very, almost bald spots are filling in. I did cut my hair about 6W ago from past mid back to chin and my hair is already down to shoulders. I am overwhelmed by how stronger and thicket my hair is. Thank you, and CP!
Just stumbled upon your channel. Thank you so much your videos are so helpful. Ive been using the commercial conditioner after my henna treatments but I want to stop using them. They use too much fragrance and the ingredients are chemical laden. So I'm looking for a DIY conditioner that won't strip the hair colour.
Thank you for your support! You can use our co-wash instead: hennasooq.com/collections/natural-hair-conditioner. This is all natural and infused with essential oil that you can choose depends on the scent that you'd like that is completely safe for the hair
Great video! Can you do a video, how to safely freeze the left-over mixture, as well as any left-over ayurvedic herb mixtures including henna, and how long is it good for in the freezer?
Hello. You can place it in the fridge for 5-7 days. Please use within 7 days of being made (if kept in the fridge). If you have any leftovers you can freezer for up to 6 months
I wash my hair every four days due to me using oils and deep conditioner everytime my question is can I use henna in my conditioner on every wash day or other every week to start???
I used a hair stain and it's left my hair vey soft. I have severe allergies. Do you know which brand or which henna I can use to avoid my hair feeling 'soft' when using henna? Thank you.
Wouldn’t recommend it as that’s a lot of processing for 1 day. When it comes to color just allow it to settle first a few days and then you can do other treatments. She answered in a group.
@@Healmyheart68 Aloe powder 100g/200g, Cassia powder 200g, Amla powder 100g/200g, and 1 whole 4oz bottle of golden jojoba oil. Add enough water to make it a smooth, thick paste like yogurt consistency 😊
Hi I know you’re directing your question to hennasook but in my experience with henna, I can use this mask immediately or a week later. I rinse my henna out with straight aloe vera from the plant and coconut milk equal parts to restore hydration, this mask would be a great addition for curl restoration.
Hello Khadija! Thanks for all your great videos on natural hair care. I dyed my hair black with a step step process of henna and indigo a few days ago ... my question is when is it ok for me to try this mask on my hair as well? How long should I wait before doing this lovely cassia, amla, aloe herbal treatment? This would be my first time trying cassia and can't wait to see the health and shine! And is it ok to use grapeseed oil instead of jojoba oil? (I am in the process of collecting more light hair oils to try). Thanks so much for your time!
Same! Please answer this question for us, how soon can we apply the mask after Ayurvedic color treatments? Also, how soon after I do my Indigo can I do another if i want to cover greys with rich black? Was it okay that I did a treatment back to back today (first a henna and indigo mixture over night, second a indigo mostly mixture in the AM) ? thanks
I’ve been doing diy Ayurvedic masks for several months now and I absolutely love the results. However my question is is it ok that I leave my masks covered in the fridge over night to use the next morning?

I'm starting in the henna world now. My hair is really dark ( black) and I used colour once a few months ago, and now henna to restore the reddish shine. The thing is that I'm thinking of bleaching my hair to get a more coppery tone. But I'm really afraid of doing it cuz I have curls. My hair is thick and healthy and I'm afraid of damaging it. Has anyone done something similar to tell me their experience? 💖
my hair has grown 4 inches of natural white hair their are 16 inches then of old stained reds of really washed out indigo, so i got this orange left from all my previous henna and indigo jobs, i havent put any henna or indigo in for one year and half now, then then the ends seem dark ,, my hair looks according to myfriends terribe with the new white hair growth and grey, so ideal i would like to go in to sharp whites or blondes , but i dont wan to cut my hair, would you recommend that i bleach the orange and then use cassia and henna ? help lol
Hello. You can check this guide to help decide that depends on your liking: hennasooq.com/blogs/frontpage/the-good-and-the-bad-how-liquids-affect-your-henna-recipe
Hello. Unfortunately not as the aloe Vera gel form doesn’t work well for coloring. The indigo is very fussy and ideally aloe vera powder helps it perform best
Yes you can. Amla will counter the henna and keep your curls from being loosened. Many people are concerned about that so they use them both together in a treatment.
You can try camellia oil or any other oil that your hair likes. You don't want to use a heavy thick oil though because it may strip the color from your hair.

I have hip length, but thin hair and this recipe was a perfect amount ❤️
I absolutely love the henna kisses, but I want to try this one also.. but I will have to wait a few weeks as I just did the henna kisses 2 weeks ago
Khadija; thank you for explaining why you are choosing the herbs. I love learning all about this stuff!
❤️ all your products! Wish I could use when hair is in protective style.

Yes, I do! I only add about a tablespoon of henna in my conditioner to keep it as a gloss.
It's on my hair as I watch this video!!

I'm wondering too.

Yes, I do this too! I freeze my leftover gloss. Thaw when I’m ready to use.
Hi! How soon after your henna application can you apply a hair mask like this one? Is it after 2 weeks?

Can I use aloe jell instead of powder? Do they work differently?
Hello. Unfortunately not as the aloe Vera gel form doesn’t work well for coloring. The indigo is very fussy and ideally aloe vera powder helps it perform best
Hello Kadija, is it ok to mix henna powder with warm castor oil? Can someone advise who have use this method?
Hello. Yes, you may do so.
Hi can I add amla powder to my henna?
I do

Yes, I do. It aids in dye release and tones down red color a bit.

Is the loosening of the curls effect forever? I’m so sad. Just did this once. Used a box version.
It does depend on your hair and curl type. If you use amla or zizyphus it'll help maintain and restore curls. We carry that at www.hennasooq.com
I thought Cassia made hair darker? Will it darken my henna enhanced naturally red hair?
No cassia doesn't darken typically at all. It lightens. Make it more copper, or golden or lighter in general for henna. Indigo darkens henna.
State of Normalcy 🥰
I just found this. My curls are lowkey gone rn xD my hair feels super sleek and Less frizzy, But I feel BALD xD I have never had this sleekness and my curls don't hold rn
This happened to me after I did a henna treatment. I felt bald because my hair got so straight. Now I can only wish that my hair was kinky again.
How often should or can we use this mask?
I'd suggest every 1-2 weeks
When should we add heat with hair mask and how long???
You can use heat right after application, then 1-2 hours on and off of heat as long as your hair can take it.
Will this strip my henna/indigo colour
No it should not
Hey, guys! Does anyone know if you can use this hair mask the day after doing your henna, or do you need to wait a week or so?
Hello. We recommend doing this mask after a week or so after henna color.
Any masks to make wavy hair curlier? 😢
Hello. We recommend our ZIZYPHUS + MORINGA HAIR MASK: hennasooq.com/collections/wavy-hair/products/zizyphus-moringa-hair-mask
Won’t the jojoba oil prevent the process from dying the hair?
It’s a moisturizing hair conditioner , not hair dye.
