Extremely Interesting. My program is quite similar to this one, expect for the fact that I cannot do double daily sesh.
Great content!
I have a question: How the load on the sled for acceleration days is distribuited throughout the season, from december to july? And based on %BW or % speed loss (VTB) ?
Appreciate your comment @crazylongjumper95. We don't have much information about sled training, but I think Lance Brauman is a great advocate for the training principles of Charlie Francis' training. So, maybe he applies the same training structure with sleds to his athletes. If you're interested in this aspect, you can read Charlie Francis' training system and "Speed Trap"; it's available for free online.
Very interesting!!! What does pace „PF“ mean?
all i do is 3x150, 10x40 meter sleds and plyos on my rest days tuesday/thursday. I like this weekly structure better it gives two days between sessions. Doing just those on monday/wednesday/friday i have improved greatly im running faster in my shoes than my teammates are in spikes lol
Great news , i'm glad that it worked for you, keep up the good work 👍
In his gym work that’s writing bench press and front squat, so you said that he’s separate upper and lower body sessions ?
Yes, I think Lance Brauman changed the way his athletes do weight training. In his training manual presented in 2007, he has his athletes perform upper and lower workouts separately. During the years when he coached Tyson Gay and Veronica Campbell, this was the approach. However, in the last two years, I believe the strength coach has made changes to the structure of this program, allowing certain types of workouts to be implemented on those two separate days.
Do you know what the activation drills he does for his glutes are? (Like firehydrants and stuff like that)
Sorry we don't have such information , Thank you for your comment , Please share, like and subscribe if you like 🙏
Minor correction: it is called "Carioca", not "Karaoke", since it is named after the Brazilian nickname, not the Japanese playback singing ;)
Other than that: Amazing video!
Thanks for the typo correction 🙏
What is Abs x300 🤔
What does RI , WB stand for?
Rl means??
You showcased two training program, which one should be followed??? Like first you displayed Noah's workout with those black background, then you displayed weekly program lika a table.. I didn't understand which one is actually the main workout?
The black background outlines and provides examples of exercises Coach Bruman uses, while the table programs detail the exact training that the sprinters undergo. Thank you for your comment , please share and subscribe to our channel it will help us a lot.
@@RunnerUniverse okk
Bolt says hi
What is a lactic flush type run?
It's a form of training performed after a rigorous workout to help clear any remaining lactate in the muscles, typically involving short, relaxed sprints.
@@RunnerUniverse got it! Thanks!
I am actually not sure if a 3m measurement is helpful at all. The first steps are somewhat preparing the following first acceleration phase and body type, levers and other biomechanical factors may not be utilized well after if you just want to "get to the 3m line as fast as possible" ...
5:10
You should link sources.
In the initial minutes of the video, we identified the sources of the training information as the Lance Brauman training seminar, interviews, and Noah Lyles' training videos. We are 99% accurate with this information. 👌
Too much technical stuff ESPECIALLY training weeks , Noah Lyles is the next Usain Bolt for sure 🏅
Cap
Noah works out 5 hours per day???!!! Jesus. Bolt worked out 90 minutes per day. 5 hours is just abuse and contraindicative.
A lot of these 5 hours are part of rest intervals so the main works are about 90min or 2 hours.. time pass fast when you hard training 2 sessions per day 🙏
There is no way in hell he is doing all of this. Sprinting every single day lol, even in late season before the “major” event.
Monday 5x80m with blocks
Tuesday 3x30, 1x120, 2x80, 4x60
Wednesday 4x100handoffs WITH A 400m ALL OUT!
Thursday: blocks 3x30m 2x60m
And on top of all of that you add weigths.
This is just straight mental.
@alexandruterpezan7910 The 400m ALL Out is not all out, it is called 400 the Hard Way, 10x 40m, with a walk back recovery at about 90%+ speed, no Coach in their right mind would ask for a 400 all out at the end of practice. This i a pro schedule which has a lot of volume, if one were to adapt this program cut down on the volume.
Dont taking notes
Is he really training that much right before a race? 4 days straight then competition? That doesnt make sense to me. Im referring to 8:14
Competition season has different stages: Early, Mid, and Late. We believe that during the Late phase, the schedule becomes more flexible due to increased travel, jet lag, and races. So, during this time, they adjust the four-day period to accommodate these factors. However, in the Early and Mid phases, they stick to a consistent four-day cycle to prepare for the main race or championship.
@@RunnerUniverse But how does that not create fatigue right before the race? how much faster are you really going to get training that frequently right before the race? From what i've seen (and done) it's mostly very low volume race modelling before a comp, maybe a couple sessions
@@user-ze3sg6ix1u Noah needs this type of fatigue during this time of season , so he takes part in weekly meeting while his body not recoveried so well. Why? It's to prepare him for the ultimate goal, which is either the Olympics or World Championships. When you consider the number of races he's involved in during these championships - around 8-10 races, including the 100m, 200m, and relays.
@@RunnerUniverse okay, i was under the impression these were bigger important meets. are these just small meets to get some competition work in? during the big meets his volume would be extremely low then
Yes, correct! Volume always low before the goal race and you always play with volume but not the intinsity to taper your athlete@@user-ze3sg6ix1u
Noah's secret to running fast? Asthma medication!
Yeah, let's reduce his success down to asthma medication!
Asthma? Bet that makes ways for them ‘legal’ special sweets…
What ??? An American pronounced ‘Adidas’ correctly!!! What sorcery is this ???
Edit: Nevermind a few seconds later, he pronounces it the way Americans typically pronounce Adidas…
Syldau 😂😂😂😂
It’s AI
🤓
It* pronounced...
I didn't know Americans pronounced adidas wrong. Must be regional.
just another coach with complexity bias.
lol. and which doping is he taking? everybody with brain knoqw that the sprinter are using doping
These videos are great and very informative. If you can can you do a video on athing mu or Marco arop
Appreciat your comment @braldo3985 if we have the info. and resources, we would love to do such a video of her. 🙏
