28 YEAR OLD CLEAN! How To Clean Seadoo XP handlebar Cover? | Seadoo XP 717cc 1995 | Ep3

- Опубліковано 3 жов 2024
- In this episode I show you how to save and bring back to life your old Seadoo XP 717, or any of the earlier Seadoo handlebar rubber covers. This approach will work with pretty much any of these old style covers, including the likes of the Seadoo XP 800, GSX and more! Using a tar remover and 303 UV protector, you may just yet save your OEM cover...give it a try before you result to handlebar neoprene covers, losing the OEM look.
I hope you guys enjoy the episode

About to try this out soon, thanks man
How did you get on dude? Keen to know how this works on the dirty handlebar covers... Thanks for watching ✌✌
Good video. I will have to try to find some of that brand tar remover here in the US. Ive got some bar pads that are 100x dirtier and moldier then that one, will have to see if any product can make a difference.
Thanks mate 🙏 it’s good stuff… I’m pretty sure Auto Glym is a global brand… but if you can’t get it there are a number of good tar removers that should work… what I would say if yours are much worse then use Magic Eraser foam pads in conjunction to help lift the dirt. Thanks for watching 🙏
Did you find a way to clean yours?
@@deanrock4331 no i didn't. Still moldy
will have to buy some of that protectant myself, I'm the same, always put too much on at first, great tip
Yeh everyone raves about 303 as its got really good UV protection... I will let you know how its goes as there is no specific claim about SIO2 Hydrophobic water beading properties, which I think is a must on skis... My go to in Turtle wax Ceramic mate
@@classicjetskis yeah I use the turtle wax too so will be interesting to see if 303 is any better
@@theoddjobs3749 have you tried any of the permanent plastic ceramic coatings?
@@classicjetskis not yet, have been thinking about it though, the GTECHNIQ c4 looks decent and has good reviews but only on cars, so I'm keeping my eyes out
On this jet ski, do you use trim up or in the middle or down?
Haven't rode it yet, still getting it ready for the first ride... I will share with you once I have... Thanks for watching dude 👍👍
Hey man i just picked up an orgignal brand new in box cover for a 1997 Seadoo XP. Its one of the purple and teal covers. I bought it for $200. You think I got a good deal?
Nice man, I'll buy it from you for $300 😉 nice work man, yes you got a good deal hence saying I'll give you around what its worth if you wanted to sell it now...
@classicjetskis yeah man I'll sell it to ya. What's the best way to reach you?
@@jacksonelliott1 can you message me on Instagram messenger? So I can see pics etc
@classicjetskis 👍lol I messaged you a couple days ago on there actually 😅
Where do you buy this product to clean the handlebar?

Not sure if that link works for you where you are but if you Google it I’m sure auto glym is a global brand 👍 thanks for watching
@@classicjetskis thanks buddy, i really love your good work!
@@Oliii_Mx thank you 🙏🙏
Ive tried everything. Mines deep in there.
Man that’s a shame… did you use the stuff I did in the video? Maybe soak it in to try lift it out? Thanks for watching 🙏
Did this tar remover not work? Mines worse then this 96 xp
