The Hyundai Great India Drive is back and we take the Hyundai Tucson with AWD across the mighty Zoji-La pass. Zoji La, that connects the Kashmir valley to Ladakh, is known for its fearsome snow storms and frequent road closures in the winter. Our convoy of Hyundai Tucsons
attempt to cross this mountain pass in the winters, and it proves to be a challenging task with the roads snowed in. However, the Tucson showed how capable an SUV it is in these tricky conditions and made it over to the other side.

To anywhere if Hyundai can stock parts for Tucson well in signature service outlets at least. Read a post in teambhp about Urea heating tube bitten by rat and car had to wait for a month before getting it replaced. Not acceptable.

No. When a near 42L vehicle has a zero star safety NCAP rating, with the Jeep Compass and even the Meridian available at that price, won't even bother with the car.
It could be a great 4WD car but the zero star rating at 42L is unacceptable

It has been quite an underrated car. People looking at the Q3, X1 or the GLA should definitely consider it. The Tucson (older gens) makes good sense as a used car as well.

I own a BS6 Tucson AWD, and am really worried about DPF issues at high altitudes. Hope Evo India addresses this as well.

OEMs should offer engine block heaters in northern and north eastern states in India specially for Diesel engines. Starting diesel car/ SUV takes hours in extreme cold conditions. block heaters will reduce this hassle by big time

Nice car. But every time these big fancy 4x4’s and highly loaded AWDs go to these places, and these videos appear, I can’t help but think of the local people quietly and without any fanfare and videos and selfies and all, simply daily-driving and using their humble little Altos and 800’s and Gypsys and all with zero fuss and super reliability.
