I just passed Bromley 21st June 2023 with 2 x minors and here is my advice: BEFOREHAND please note this!! The guy in-front of me who literally started the test 2 seconds before me FAILED before leaving the test centre road!! he exited the test centre on THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE LANE - the lane markings are extremeley faded lines, and it can be so easily confused for a single lane as you'll swing out toward the right-side lane. I almost followed behind him into this test failing error before I realised last second. = be prepared to do a manouvre before you leave the test centre - I was asked to bay reverse park straight away. = don't overlook early start slots - I started at 8:10am and the roads were not even busy. = don't rush out at junctions - slow down in 1st gear, check both ways AND THEN move off, you don't have to rush off thinking your gonna be marked down for hesitation. They want to see your navigating and checking both ways safely. = don't get caught up in too much conversation - this distracted me on the independnt driving and nearly missed my right-turn on two occassions, being overly nice won't help you pass, concentrate on driving safely!
I cannot begin to tell you how much this helped me pass my driving test in bromley. FYI at the moment there are temporary traffic lights as you pass end of the road when you pass Lidl. I stalled very early on. If you stall it is not the end of the world. You just need to confidentially get back in to a safe driving position and proceed. Never think it’s over until the examiner tells you have failed. I thought I majored but if you are still out their driving after 40 minutes especially with the new COVID restrictions there is a good chance you have aced it. The examiners in bromley have a bad reputation but they are lovely people that want you to show what you have learnt. Thank you for your videos I love them and will keep watching even though I’ve passed. Top man
@Anthony Bray I’ve literally got my test in two weeks time at around 2pm (don’t know if that’s a good time to do my test🤷♂️)and I’ve watched this video over 10 times now 😂😂 could you give me any tips/heads up for the Bromley driving test centre because it would really help👊

I just LOVE your personality and how positive you are. I wish I’d found you on here earlier because my test in on the 12th May. You are a joy to watch 🚘♥️🙏🏻
That's so understandable. But remember, as we say all the time, your driver wouldn't be happy for you to take a test if they didn't think you were ready! Make sure you let us know how you get on 😁
Just wanted to pass through to say a MASSIVE thank you to you Francis ❤ I passed my driving test first time this morning at Bromley. Basically, I've had your videos on loop for the past 2 days- and it's REALLY helped! 2nd test tomorrow at Bromley, first one was at Belvedere 😩 was over 6 mph on a 20 road (missed the 1st sign) failed because of that.. thanks for your videos so helpful ♥️
it just refreshed my memories back from my driving test in bromley (it used be in Bromley court hotel)..which I passed in very first attempt thanks to my instructor John (from Sidcup).... nice video.. thank you
Watching these so I can decide whether to do my test at Bromley or Hither Green haha (also they're very helpful so thank you so much for making these, I feel so much more confident!)
Bromley!! My instructor has made me practise both and Bromley is much simpler. There’s not any large roundabouts and it is a much calmer route. Whereas Hither green has at least 2 major roundabout and high speed roads. Word of warning is that my instructor said sometimes a Bromley instructor might slightly encroach into Hither green to get in a high speed road or roundabout but not all of them! Good luck.
Listen to this guy when he says don't try and learn new things on UA-cam at the last minute due to nerves. Because conquer driving made me fail yesterday 😪. Only one fault but it was the last piece of info I added out of nowhere.
Huge fan man !! Your videos really helped understand many concepts of driving more in depth. Can you do a walkthrough on Enfield Innova Business Park driving test route !!
If only bromley test centre was there few yrs ago 😕 However knowing this information its inspiring me to take test again but at bromley test centre Also wish you was my driving instructor
Yesterday I had my test at Bromley… unfortunately I have failed.. just because turning left(junction) but I didn’t remembered if I done that fault.. except that I was very excellent.. just 3 minors. Really frustrating coz I can’t booked till again for 6 months ..😞
I've seen just the one video, this one... ua-cam.com/video/9Tbegimv1JQ/v-deo.html If there's more that would be amazing.. putting 'Croydon' beside a search didn't seem to help. Feel free to share, if you didn't mind Francis. Thank you.
I FAILED my test at Bromley today for going too SLOW🤢🤨 I guess I just didn't do the full 30mph. Shame because that was the only fault I got (was 2 minors for slow then 3rd time made it a major). My Examiner was also horrible and didn't even give me feedback properly, good thing it comes in the email.

So thank you so much!!🙏🏾
When asked the show me question of when to clean the front/rear window, when is the safest time to do it? Would you need to pull over and do it or can it be done on a quiet road?
Hey good question! You need to do it while you're driving not stationary. If you can't find the button you can pull over and find it but you have to demonstrate it on the move. It's pretty much always safe but saying that takes the urgency out of the question. It probably wouldn't be safe if you were changing gear or turning but once you're done with what you're doing then take your time and get it done :)
Just wanted to say really enjoying the content although I have passed. Driving instructor takes you home because once the test is finished you are no longer insured on the vehicle not cause you are tired.
Hey Lewis congrats on passing and thanks for watching! I like to be fully transparent with my learners and everyone who watches the channel. You are insured on my vehicle whether you've passed or failed your test or I wouldn't be able to do refresher lessons on full license holders. The reason Instructors don't like to let you drive home is usually because of the emotions after you pass/fail reducing your driving skill. Sometimes it's also because it's faster for the instructor to drive and get to the next student. Either way I like to be honest and not say it's because they're not insured, which is 100% of the time not the case.
@@DrivingSchoolTV Thanks I was just going off what my instructor told me. It took me 180 hours of lessons passed 4th time. Just been reading up on the possible change of Grant Shapes regarding possible changes licences digital what do you think of this?
digital licences make sense but a lot of people apply for a provisional / use a provisional as a form of ID. This move will negatively impact them and a passport will be the only other useful form of ID, which isn't ideal. It's a good idea but it needs to be an opt in system not a mandatory system
