I guess what I like about the world looking back is its strange combination of weird science and fantasy stuff. Sort of a kid-level sword and sorcery thing with technological elements. I'm reminded of my childhood attitude to Star Wars toys though, where I just used them how I wanted to tell my own stories, so in a way the toys or the board game in this case allow for different interpretations of the characters.
Could you change the pacing to make the increase in power for a character happen over multiple battles? Like reduce the goals for a given battle, spread them out, maybe give a player a chance to catch up?

Cool. I would probably have bought this during the Kickstarter if it was availible in Europe but due to licencing or whatever it wasn't. I think this is more to my liking than the Masters of the Universe game we got in Europe instead.
Could probably get it through ebay or something... but I would "need" some of my favourites I had toys of as a kid and those were Kickstarter exclusives I think, Spikor, Roboto. Clawful and a few others. They didn't make a Cyclone right?

There is a Game found campaign going on right now that is specifically to bring the game to Europe. They added Cyclone.

@@SeanUCF Yes, I've seen that and have pledged! It was just what I wanted - able to get it in europe and even with the one missing character I wanted. So I am aware but thanks non the less, I happend upon it by pure chance and could just as well have missed it.

How do you find the balance between controller and players? In my plays the controller always wins but maybe he is just better than us. Since you played both at the same time, did it seem balanced?

The game is pretty terribly balanced. That being said, you can still have a lot of fun with it.

Do you need familiarity with Masters of the Universe to be able to play this?

I had never watched the show before getting it (but was well disposed towards it through Howard’s Conan and Thorgal). The game is great fun with real variability, especially the KS. It’s a solid one vs many game.
