What a great start to the day with Pastor Randy and Proverbs 3. My take away: God used wisdom understanding and knowledge to create the earth the heaven and the seas. If you keep these things in your thoughts at all times, it will inspire your soul. You will not need to fear any trauma in your live. God will be your confidence, protector and security. Or as a better way to say it “Dude, don’t be a wise guy”. Bless you Randy.
Verse 27: “Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.” As we also learned in Chapter 2, we have the duty to be discerning.
Amen Pastor and we know that God wants us to have wisdom we just need to ask for it and at the same time we need to believe God will give it to us James 1:5-8 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Matthew 7:7-11 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? We serve a very good God so why would anyone think that God would not want to give his Children Wisdom and all the gifts of the Spirit and sometimes you got to keep asking even if we don't see any results happening Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. James 5:17-18 God bless you brother keep preaching the truth
Be not afraid of certain fear, neither of desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the Lord shall be thy confidence and shall keep thy foot from being taken. Proverbs 25-26
Verse 27: “Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.” It comes with our responsibility to be discerning, as we learned in Chapter 2.
It is difficult to pick one verse from each chapter on which to meditate. There is so much good stuff here! Truly, I want to print and frame every single verse. Maybe the pages of this Book would make good wallpaper. Lol!
“Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart.”
Proverbs 3:3
3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes, have reverence for the Lord and turn away from evil!
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
