A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber. 6: 10-11

For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is light; and reproof a of instruction are the way of life. Proverbs 6:23 God's word is a lamp to our feet and a light unto our path.

“Uncle Randy.” I love it. “Go to the ant, O sluggard, consider her ways, and be wise.” We don’t ever see ants “just sitting around.” Plus, they work together for the common good.

More wisdom from Solomon. The book of Proverbs speaks a lot about the value of hard work, the difference between success and failure, between potential disappointment or fulfillment, is often hard work. “My son, observe the commandments of your father and do not forsake the teachings of your mother.” Proverbs 6:20
