YOU are awesome. This is great, Jarrid! Your painting and the message, I just want to see everyone pursue not just what they think will look good, but what speaks to them and captures that playful creativity. Very cool to see you do just that 💓
There is so much to love about this video. I am going to give this style a test drive on a bust I recently picked up. Thanks for the good vibes and the great art. Keep being you because you are incredible!
Big love my man!! Hype splash up on an amazing model. This internet community just keeps getting better and better, stranger and stranger. Big love for being apart of it
Oh hey I just saw my hands! 😅 Thanks for the shout out Jarrid! Yet another killer video ❤ you certainly are making marks, and I’m so excited to watch it happen!!
That model came out great!! Also for me, I have some weird conversion ideas I'd like to make int actual models, Such as some Star Wars Stormtroopers that have fallen to Khorne, a 40k-themed Halo Flood army, and a force of Nurgle-corrupted Drukhari/Dark Eldar, just to name a few ideas I have in mind
Trent nudged me your way - great video and message. I've been knocking around the hobby, on and off, since Rogue Trader days as a kid. I watched the relentless commercialisation of GW and the very real loss of something special from their miniatures - a whimsical comedic element and also it all took itself far too seriously. It's people like Trent and now this video that keep that creative spark and enthusiasm alight. Thank you.
Great clip and thjanks for making me think outside our stereotyped box. Out of curiosity what is the background music at 3.07 if the clip. Awesome to have that in the background to paint with.
Thank you much appreciated, also after 35 years of painting I'm going to try a new style and find "mine" aka yours with a variant thanks for the suggestions keep them coming.
Valuing art on a "is it good or is it bad?" Scale is one of our cultures biggest mistakes. Art has to be personal and your level of skill with a brush says nothing about how well you are able to reflect yourself in your creations
Thanks for watching! Be sure to check out some of my friends (a completely non-exhaustive list)!!
I dunno what to say other than thankyou! This made me so happy today
I'm so glad! Thank YOU for putting cool things into the world!!
