Quite a little bit of rebuilding project you got there Pat. You did a pretty good job. What i would do with the aftermarket throttle is to inspect and compare it with the stock connector and see if the color wires are in its correct pin position
I don't think having a higher tire pressure in the rear is odd at all. I've ridden dirt bikes and street bikes my whole life and that is exactly how those are. Maybe this person came from dirt bikes at some point. However I think this was a great video! Keep them rolling.
Hi Pat remember the rear axle path is an ark you need enough slack in the chain to compensate for this as you are tightening it at full droop, hard to see in 2D
I like how this guys videos are for the novis is great he checks all the right box's and does all the work correct instead of just making trash content I would recommend him to any one I know who need to ask a question I cant answer LIKE AND SUB this cat he's a good one to follow.
It’s the throttle voltage regulator There vents in the regulator and it can be shorted. Should be 15 flashes with your pigtail fault code harness from battery to bike. I’m ordering one next week
I wanted to see if the pedals work. Can you actually pedal the bike or is it too heavy? This would be a good upgrade in case you run out of battery and have to pedal the bike home, if it does works of course.
I don't get how someone can let a surron/talaria get that bad. They're not cheap. I get it if you crash or loop it or something there's going to be some damage, but that thing looks like they didn't even bother to check if it was safe to ride. Looks like no regular maintenance was done whatsoever either.
This is quite common, I lost count on how many times I've jumped on a friends bike or a friend of friend and noticed they got no brakes (terrible bleeding), nuts, and bolts missing, belt almost gone, tyres are slicks, overall bad condition and maintenance. Someone hadn't changed their gear oil on the talaria in 3K+ miles 😂 I'm a clean freak. Clean after each ride and silicon spray/wd40 the he'll out of my bike.
Basically if the rider really loves using it they let the dirt grime and scars become apart of the personality of the bike so that it becomes obvious when you see that bike and its all torn up, that that bike is loved by the owner and every part has experienced use or overuse at least once thats how you know they have lots of experience riding
Think of guitars when a guitar has a gone through its use and goes from super shiny and beautiful guitar to a relic guitar that has been through the wringer
I never connected to or used an MX350 stock controller before. I had an MX350 a long time ago that I installed a lithium 36V battery and connected it to a stock 36V MX650 controller with XT60 connectors. This overvolted the stock motor, but I would never recommend overvolting with a stock MX350 controller..
Exactly what i was thinking, no hate as this makes for good content but I think the used market on these bikes is crazy. This bike was completely beat up and the owner clearly didn't take care of it. After the replacement parts you could buy a new 2024 surron with the 40ah battery for just a few hundred more. And that's not consiering we don't know the condition of the brakes, suspension, battery. People are buying / selling these used bikes for way to much
Honestly if you’ve got the money for it and just want a project I don’t see a problem with it. Good content and really no different than a car guy buying a beater and fixing it up. This is my first time watching but I like it so far!
I just love vids like these such a more modest realistic vid 👍

I think I’m gonna switch to a different throttle either way. That eBay throttle felt very.. cheap vs the stock. I want a Domino
Domino is the best choice. Quite easy to replace. Ill send you the corresponding wire connection if you want when u get one👍
I admit, you're a pro. Love this troubleshooting videos

grease up front and back axle too and check for pressure and lube chain

It's sad to see how others treat their expensive toys. This was released last year, and it's clearly been abused. I'm glad it's now in good hands
That wat happens when mommy or daddy but u a expensive toy in my opinion.
When something is loved it will be completely destroyed by the time you are done with it thats how you know they enjoyed using it
Congrats dude!! Now I want that xxx battery lol
Thanks! Man I just did a 62 mph pull on the Talaria yesterday and realized I’m likely gonna keep it around as it is 😂
Unless you wanna take both our bikes apart yourself and throw in a Noisy cricket 🤔
Fun little project 🫡
im getting one in September in so hyped!
Awesome work, loved the video❤
Thanks!

It barely moves the bike forward, maybe 4-5 MPH. It’s just there as a display to make the bike seem “legal” to law enforcement really
I think you have a missing axle nut on the front fork you only saw the missing pinch bolts i have the same fastace forks they are great
Yes! I also noticed missing wheel spacers for the front.. already got it fixed!
Best Vid of the day ty
Appreciate the feedback!
Nice. Just a little love, care & patience FTW & plenty savings.
You got that right!
Awsome vid pat.

how much did u pay for the bike
Cool bro was thinking about a new one but its 4400 up here think itsvworth that?
As a Surron owner, yes they’re great. But I can’t say get a Surron these days with E-Ride Pro SS out there for almost same price. 2x the bike
@@joshmaddux THIS is the main reason why I can’t justify buying a Surron new.. then I would just get an E-ride Pro SS for just a bit more
I want it i have a trade too it is like new but slow AF
Does anyone In California, near Fontana, have a Segway x160 that works for like $1700?
