Surrons are expensive electric bikes to begin with, so any cheap easy modifications you can make to make the bike faster & better is awesome, especially if you can get them fast from Amazon. I was looking for sur ron content around simple first mods so this is my video!

Thanks! It’s a Warp 9 54t rear sprocket - make sure you get a 110 tooth chain too, your stock chain will be too short. Looks like it’s sold out on Amazon right now, but you can find them online!

they discontinued the 54t unfortunately :( The 58 tooth requires a 112 link chain if you decide to go that direction!

Your taste in " music " is horrible.
Really good mods. Worth noting, I stuck with the stock riser rather than a direct mount because I would rather realign the stock riser after a spill than possibly bend my handlebars. The trap house music is brutal, way louder than your narrative.

Very good info. Just a heads up, the speed on the display is based on how fast your motor spins not how fast your wheel spins. You should do a gps speed comparison. I bet your closer to 40 mph not 44 like with stock.
that’s a great point, not sure why i didn’t think of that before i stopped filming. Whatever the top speed is, it feels quite fast lmao

CUT YOUR STEER TUBE DOWN!...please, for so many reasons lol. You actually need zero steer tube spacers when correctly installing a direct mount stem. One on top of the tripple is optional and liked by most. The stack of spacers is disgusting.

Get you a peg spacer bar asap, also pegs and grips would be ideal to change right away as well.

Your top speed is decreased not increased, max rpm is the same so woth a larger one you lose top end, by like 4mph your speedo says 48 but your GPS speed is like 42 ❤ @@logan-taylor

it’s a bit more expensive on Amazon, so if you can find it at a local Lowe’s you could save a bit of money :)

Thanks so much! I would say check local motorcycle/power sports dealerships and see if they’re carrying surrons (it’s rare but possible). If not, see if they’re planning on it - otherwise, you’ll have to go through FB marketplace or order one online

Non o ring chain doesn’t do anything
the absence of o-rings removes a huge point of friction in the chain! It made a gigantic difference for me personally

I’m running 2.50x19 tubes (the tires are “tube type” but might be fine to run without) - so far so good!

@@soffianfar1d559 slime is a good idea tbh - stock tubes won’t quite work with the Shinkos but slime would be a great way to make the stocks more reliable!
