Thanks man! I appreciate it🔋⚡️
Awesome work Matt! You are so perfectly clear and your music spot on. At the 3:57 mark😂
Thank you buddy!! Appreciated as always. Ahaha glad i made you laugh😂👌🏻
underated!! please never stop uploading
Thank you man i appreciate you!! I’ll be back soon and better than ever!! 💯🔋💯
KEEP IT UP BRO GOOD VIDS
Thank you bro!! I appreciate it and there is plenty more to come🔋⚡️
Hey bro, sick sur Ron. Orange is one of my favorite colors, your bike is beautiful
Thank you man!! Its a good looking bike for sure. The orange is definitely growing on me too. Glad i went with black and orange 🙌🏻🔋⚡️
Yoooo bro sick video! Why didnt i get notifications!
Definitely some good solutions these Chinese bikes all take some hacks and niggles to be sorted out the box but this hit the nail on the head! Headset wobble is a killer!
Thanks my bro!! Not sure why there was no notification! I did upload on a different day than usual though.
You’re right though, definitely have to find some little hacks and tricks to keep these bikes running smoothly and properly. Headset wobble is nasty for sure and there isn’t many options on headsets for these bikes either 👎🏻
If you put a cloth or Allen key between your sprocket and chain and then tighten everything by turning the wheel so that pressure is created, it also helps to maintain tension while you tighten the axle
Very true!
Good video.
Thanks!
Thanks man, i appreciate the feedback! Plenty more to come💯⚡️
Tip: Don't don't just rub grease around the bearing. Watch a bearing packing video. Otherwise, you might as well not do it at all as that doesn't last long. Bearing packing takes a bit of time, but it's meant to be packed fully if you don't wanna keep redoing every few months
Yes i’m aware that the bearings need to be properly packed as that will keep it greased/lubed for the longest amount of time. I tend to re grease my headset every 2/3 months anyway! Appreciate the advice though man! 🔋⚡️
Vacuum pack them. Cheap kitchen vacuum machine, put your grease and bearing in, seal and vacuum. Pro tip.
For squeaky belts, use bar soap on the drive and inside of belt. Never met a belt too squeaky for bar soap.
Not tries that yet but will have to give that a go!
@@mattfrancisofficialI'm gonna try that too
Took me years of riding to figure this out, properly tensioned chain = fix for belt squeak, it acts like o lever if the chain is loose the belt is pulling unevenly on the jackshaft
That is a very good point!
Hey! What kind of tire are your running and size?
In this video they were dunlop mx33 tires. 70/100 19” is the tire size 💯🔋⚡️
Good video, what's with the helmet though?
Thanks, as for the helmet there is a number of reasons. 1. Safety first 2. Surrons aren’t exactly the most legal bikes to be riding here in the UK (although i try ride in legal spots as much as possible) 3. It’s just not necessary to see my face. I dont particularly want people knowing exactly who i am. There’s a lot scumbags who would potentially notice me in public, follow me home and steal my bike if they could see my face and identify me by my face. 4. What i look like is irrelevant to the videos I make and it’s just one less thing to distract people from the point of the content i make. 👍🏻
@@mattfrancisofficial I agree and respect everything you say brotha! Sweet fricken bike too, I want one too but yup the street legal part is the only problem. ,✌️ dude!
Would this bike be suitable for someone’s who’s 6,1 And how tall are you for reference?
I am 6ft so i can say for sure it would be suitable!! Plenty of mods available to make it sit taller for bigger riders too!
what tires you got there boss??
These were dunlop mx33 tyres, huge difference compared to the awful stock tyres!!
can you use WD40 on the squeaky belt sound
I guess that would work! I guess the only thing would be to check that WD40 doesn’t affect the life of the belt or degrade it in any way!🔋⚡️
Hey buddy do you have a link to those tyres?
I think they were from demon tweaks i’ll try find the link
Theyre shinko 244s
Just got my rear 244 delivered yesterday , gonna tighten the chain tension as well durring install thanks to this video
Kenda dual sport was what I went with in the end
Hi from France, clear and simple, like ur vid for washing our jewel ! Great Job.
Post scriptum : Speak slower ( need the sub :D )
Aha thanks man!! I’ll try, i’m just a naturally fast talker
For a squeaking belt you have to properly tension it
That is correct but mine also squeaks when tensioned correctly. If i make it any looser then it will slip on the pulleys 😩
My theory about that is you may have gotten wd40 on it when you were greasing your jackshaft bearings, and that might be why it's acting up. I really like the idea, though I'd just spray it further in the tube.
I crashed once now my frame is completely scratched
Ouch! Guessing that was on gravel or tarmac? Unfortunately that cant be helped. Just an unfortunate thing to happen. 😖
and u should pump up the shock as well
If you mean the rear shock then its not an air shock so it can’t be pumped up unfortunately. I have blown my shock though so a new one will be coming in the near future 💯🔋⚡️
@@mattfrancisofficial do sur rons use mtb rear shocks or like mx ones?
They use MTB shocks but the biggest size I believe. Its the 267x89mm or 10.5x3.5 size they use.⚡️
Has anyone else had problems with there head set coming loose?
I did have a problem with this at one point and the best i can recommend to do is invest in the warp9 stem lock! It replaces the star nit that sits in the forks and keeps the headset nice and tight. Since installing it i’ve never had to touch it. It has stayed tight and makes the whole headset feel better. While you’re in there it wouldn’t be a bad idea to change the headset bearings and cups if this is something you’re capable of. Would make a good a difference 🙌🏻🔋⚡️
this is not problems or issues... this is maintenance...
Which are problems and issues in my eyes. Why cant things just work all the time😂
Would you ride 28 miles to work on one
Head stock bearings””
Headset and headstock are the same thing🤷🏻♂️
@@mattfrancisofficial I’m nearly 40 years of age never heard headset bearings headset is what you ware on your head for gaming..
Tomatoes / tomaatoes 🍅 😂😂
I bet this guy has helped loads of drug dealers
And your point is? I bet you've wrote quite a few pointless comments, but who am I to judge 😮
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😂
How does thos help drug dealers
@@MotoAlias because the only people i see on surrons are lads flying about selling drugs
@@chrisg4rr377 if you think the only people riding them are drug dealers you're a dumbass. They're 4,500 dollar bikes I highly doubt drug dealers are buying them.
