    Great build and great craftsmanship! Ash is a great choice. Crossover got a bit strange placement, but as long as it works. I have recently build the XLS Encore and are also so satisfied. Looked at the CSS resellers in Germany but Texas was a bit cheaper although toll, tax and VAT to Sweden. Envying your Festol’s.

      Thank you. I was thinking about XLS encore too. They have good reviews a deside on the css only of reviews the look. The tax we need pai every time many times (-: . The speakers sounds good but mine horn speakers are much better. Every audio diy should have at least too speakers to change time too time. Festool and mafell are great tools can only recommend.

    Very nice! Also, I looooove that workbench in the background! Question though, does wood movement ever become a problem in building speakers out of hardwood? Or did you manner of construction and using wood from the same panels counter that?

    • @mari2800
      @mari2800  10 місяців тому

      Hello If the wood is dry too 8% there is not problem. The speakers cannot be place in very humidity place and also too dry.

    The products are overprized in the US. Plus shipping and tax total uninteressting. For a bookshelf. Never ever. Better build speaker like the Teddy with european Chassis.

      It is expensive but the sound is good. My next build will be seas or sb acoustic.

      @@mari2800 Nice work though I think the crossover could of been better set up, just my opinion. Take a look at Troels Gravesen DIY speakers for possible next project, they are very good. I am currently building the " Revelator 851 " a much more complex build but satisfying to do, yet not cheap 😥
