Thank you so much for all of these videos! Everything I thought I really didn't understand has been made so much clearer and I've understood it a lot quicker and in a lot more depth than if I had gone back to ask my teachers. I wouldn't have been able to make it through A2 chemistry without them!

Mort Zzz Why thank you! And thanks for teaching me a new phrase, I can say to my kids and they'll think 'how do he know about this????'

    You're videos are AMAZINGGGGGGGGGG!!
Is it possible for you to upload a video of determining the shape of a molecule when you are given all the information as I've seen this come up before and don't get it

Victoria Azubuike THANKS!!! If I get time I'll definitely do one as this is something my students struggle with.

Your videos are really good!!!! Your SOO much better at explaining things compared to my chemistry teacher. Could you upload a video on Redox titrations and how to actually calculate them please. Also can you upload a video of the ionisation of water and how to to the calculations aswell please. Thank you

Vanessa SHO Redox titrations are already on. Look in the F325 Transition Metals Playlist. I've not done the ionisation of water yet. Maybe over the Easter break if I get the time. Thanks for the comment and good luck!!!

Can you please do videos on F324 analysis questions using combined techniques as they are quite difficult in papers? So like can you just go throw some past paper questions on them please?
Your videos are really great and have helped me a lot!

I am very grateful of your videos. It might be far stretched of me asking, but would you be able to do a video on aromatic HNMR peak splitting before the F324 exams? Thank you

Hi. I haven't done that as it's not required for the OCR specification

Thanks a lot! so when given aromatic protons to deduce their peaks, do we just count protons on the benzene ring as one proton environment, despite having the possibility of having multiple different R groups directly bonded to it?

thank you! is there any chance you can do a video where you explain the analysis of the spectra. i understand all the theory but then cannot put it all together to identify one! even an example past paper would help!

When considering the integration traces, is it ok to just put the ratio number next to the peak or do the peaks have to be drawn to scale?

Why isn't the singlet to the right of the green triplet?

    • @MaChemGuy

They could be either way round tbh. Just need to be in the range for the environment

Why is the green proton not in R-CH since R-CH is on the left? Why just HC-C=O? How do I know where it will appear? R-CH or HC-C=O region?

Oswin Yes but you aren’t expected to analyse the splitting of aromatic protons
