We all are here because we made it through the first interview, congratulations! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Honestly just be yourself as you were in the first. We as human beings can tell when something is genuine. I literally told him I might not have the experience but all I need is a chance to prove I can do the job. That was my closing statement. As cliche as that might sound, it worked. I do have relative experience but not the years in the field that it requires. But hey if Trump can be President who's to say you can't do the Job. Just food for thought. Nobody goes into a job knowing exactly what to do. It's the hiring management that decides if your capable of doing the job efficiently, efficiently and I empathize on that because that's a key word only a handful knows.

Don Georgevich Just wanna give you an update on how my first job is going. I’ve been working there for almost 2 months and I’ve just been living it up and trying to prove to them that they hired the right guy. Within my first month of working there 4 people called the store to give me a good review on my customer service! And last week they called me in for my first performance review. At 2 months of working there they decided to give me a $2.50 raise. Usually people get their first raises around 6 months and it’s usually only a $1 raise. Thank you so much for your tips again man, they’ve really been paying off for me!!!
The first interview is often on Skype. The second will be in person. That means you're on the short list & competing w/ other highly qualified candidates (at least one other person, possibly more). I agree on the battle plan if it's general business. If it's academic, have a plan for specific classes you're to teach. If it's designing floral arrangements, have a portfolio of your best designs. I would not try to demonstrate enthusiasm. I think showing poise & self-control & using a somewhat neutral tone are best, but w/ a pleasant expression. These people will be working w/ you, & they want grace under pressure, not a comedian.
You are interviewing the employer when the employer is interviewing you. Watch for anything that suggests the place is toxic. It could be small things (tips of the iceberg) that reveal it, like an employer saying you need to live near the work site. That could indicate they will be calling you at a moment's notice to cover work when others call in sick. The only power a job candidate has is the power to say "no" to an offer. If it is a bad match for you & you take it anyway, you'll either be back on the market soon, or stuck in the equivalent of a bad marriage.

Secondly, I brought along a 100 day plan to my second interview and this really impressed them. AHHHHH!!! You helped me so much with my second interview two weeks ago. Now I'm anxiously waiting the 'yay' or 'nay' call back....I HOPE today is the day!
lord of the rings lord or maybe she got the call and started already and so busy that she doesn't have enough time to reply here lol :-D , and bro it happened to me too, I appeared in two interviews in 7 days and nailed em and in the end of second interview which was with the operations manager, she told me that its ok from my side, you are hired, and the h.r dept will call you in 2-e days for all the documentation and formalities. But after that a week passed and there was no call made, no email sent so I sent them an email in which I asked em that I appeared in the second interview and was told that h.r will call me, and I told em just wanted to follow up on that as ive already appeared in other interviews and they are calling me etc etc. They sent me the offer letter and appointment induction an hour later and called me to bring my documents the next day.... Point being sometimes they dont call or forget to call, so simply email or call them and ask that I need to follow-up, this way you will get the info u need that either you are hired or not, better thn hanging in the middle...
Today was my first day at my new job and I watched this video before my second/final interview almost 2 weeks ago. Thank you so much for the helpful tips and the positive energy you put into this. It went a long way for me. 💪🏼

Wow! I got a second interview, thinking on how I would do the job has been what I've been doing to prepare for it. I've been running through strategies what I would do when i first report to the job, how I will get going on the job and how I would accomplish job deliverables. Thanks again for all your videos, I do believe it was your insights and ideas that scored me the second interview.
I have a second interview tomorrow, this video is definitely helping me stay calm and collected. I feel I have a great shot at getting this job. Thank you so much for this video!
1. It's OK to stumble on your questions (1 or 2), that shows you are a human being, don't worry that much, just move on 2. Make sure you have plans on how you are going to do this job: how you are going to overcome the challenges facing in this position, have a 3-6 months plan to share - no matter it's right or wrong, that shows your are enthusiastic about this job 3. Let them know you understand their problems (challenges, hurdles), repeat it back to them - make sure this message come through the interview 4. Don't just say "I'm a team player", give past examples to show how you have worked with teams to accomplish certain things, put it in context, show them you can lead, teach and share the knowledge - what the company is looking for 5. Be prepared to talk about specific examples from your work - they want to dig deeper your ability to do this job. Instead of telling them "Yes I can do that", tell them "Here's how I have done that before, let me give you an example ... here is a project I've worked on..." to communicate you are extremely qualified and knowledgeable to do this job, remove all the doubts from their minds 6. Imagine you are the interviewer, think of what questions will you ask the candidate to qualify him/ her for the job - those are the questions you should be prepared for. Think of the past experiences and projects you've worked on, (re-)write them down in detail so they are fresh in your mind. In the interview you will have pressure and difficult to quickly remember everything without prep 7. They are going to dig deeper what your plans are for this position (it's a test) - what you think about it, how are you going to do it, what tools/ resources you need, how are you going to overcome certain hurdles...if you can talk about past experiences of how you have been successful, you will put them at ease that you are able to handle similar problems 8. Make sure everything you say is consistent in the 1st and 2nd interview 9. Give them a good, firm handshake and look them in the eyes, smile (also while you are talking - but don't over do it, be natural), show them you are happy to be there
Thank you for the great advice! I agree it is so important to focus on the results you can bring to the employer, rather than focusing only on your skills and past experience.
You are awesome Sir. I made a comment on one of your videos and it probably echoed negatively. Most job interviews wouldn't even tell you why you were declined. They will shoot a feedback message to you, telling you they are moving forward with another candidate, even though you did your very best through the interview. As frustrating as this scenario may sound, these self-centered companies are killing more talents than they are acquiring.
Hi Don - A very valuable series to take a candidate through the interview process. I've been through the process a number of times in my career, but the 'refresher' has a lot of value. The question I have is - In a 2nd interview when I'm sharing examples of my experience relative to challenges, do you have any rule-of-thumb on how much time I should spend talking, and how much the hiring manager should spend. The internal question I ask myself is, "Am I talking too much?" Thank you.

It's definitely due to your calm voice but most importantly, you've got good, positive energy that makes me feel that everything will be okay and there is nothing to be scared of. Based on the comments to your videos, you helped so many people around the world with your advice. Thank you so much!
so glad to be here for you.
Hi Don, the last few days I’ve been watching a lot of your videos. After multiple interviews and even second interviews, I finally landed an awesome job.
This time I changed my process, I showed passion and plenty of enthusiasm, instead of just going through my skill set. I took control by telling the reasons why I would love working there and not waiting to be asked.
Thank so much for all your input, it helped me a lot!!
congratulations! That's fantastic news.
I have a second interview for an internship today!! 😀. And i got it!! Thank you very much 😃
JP what question they ask you in second interview of the internship i also had second interview for my inteenship tomorrow im scared.
@@gamingguy8595 Normal questions about my past work experience, studies, motivation, strengths, weakness, career decisions, etc. You should convince them that you're the perfect person for that job description.
Don't worry you'll do fine.
All the best! Fingers crossed
@@bikerboyjp i applied for marketing internship and internship description was experience not necessary and i m full time students also dont have that much experience in marketing but i have 3.12 gpa i want internship just to get experience on my resume.
I think it’s about highlighting the positive things you bring to the company.
My second interview is in 4.5 hours. Even though the first interview didn’t have any of the questions from your book, i was prepared for the questions they did ask. Preparation is key. Thank you so much. Wish me luck
I'll have a 2nd interview in 3 hours, your tips are great, your words help to improve my confidence. I won't "rest until my better is best" for sure. Thank you.
good luck
@@DonGeorgevich thank you very much. The interview was great and I just got an e-mail from them with a job offer.
I have a second interview within the next 2 hours pray for me guys!
Don, I followed your tips and two things really swung it for me. I let the employer know that salary wasn’t my number one consideration, cultural fit was more important. Secondly, I brought along a 100 day plan to my second interview and this really impressed them. I adapted one from another interview, and I made sure to tell them I understood their challenges and I could help them. I wanted to say a huge thanks for your help and advice, as I think you are spot-on. Candidates take note, this approach works.
I have a second interview today. I’ve been watching your videos to understand. I’m here already through a temporary service and this is to be permanent with the location. Thank you for all of your tips and tricks!
Just got the job as a GM of a fitness center. Thank you for your helpful videos. You rock, dude!
Thanks for your encouragement. You have propelled me with excitement. Because I have a second interview.
Great tips! Used a lot of them in my second interview, got called and landed the job! You were such a big help! Thank you so much!
May I know what questions did they ask you?
What questions did they ask you?
Had my first interview yesterday as a program manager. Before I could hit send on the thank you I had an email in my inbox for a second interview over the phone. After that it will be about a 4.5 hour interview in person with 2-5 people. Here is hoping I can make it to the in person for this role.
How did your interview go?:)
How'd it go?
I did what you said and it got me the job. I can't thank you enough.
Thank you for your tips. I have landed my dream position. I watached your videos from the beginning of the interview process. They help me a lot. 1st round was with Hiring Manager and Senior Manager. Second round was with 2 Executive Managers.
Don thank you this is the advice I needed to hear. I was not sure what to think when clicking on this video but hearing what you had to say showed me I have already been doing things in the right direction with pain point solving and basically relaxing and not trying to be perfect. Thank you very very much!
Thanks to you......I GOT THE JOB!!!😃
Great!! that's fantastic news
Nailed it, Don!! Starting the job next month...... Thank you!!!!!
You're incredibly genuine and it's inspiring.

Your existence in this world is much appreciated. Thanks a lot for this video.
Was told that if I made it to the second interview I hade made it in by my interviewer. Never got a call back. Spent ½ a day meeting the teams I would be working with. All seemed interested and looked forward for the amount of help I would bring to them
love how positive and upbeat this vid is- great advice and now i'm less nervous for my interview tomorrow!
I have a second interview with a great company. I feel very confident, however there is never enough preparation for an interview!
Great video!
I love the intro! Pat yourself on the back! The company is interested in you as much as you are in them!
Watching this video 2 days before my second interview for a Product Engineering position. These tips definitely made me feel less anxious about how to approach it, thanks!
Add to help and best of luck to you
I have my second interview in less than two hours. God bless and I will be back to share the good news/ testimony
Best of luck to you
Did you get the job?
Thank you so much Don for all your advice. I have just started an internal secondment from a lowly assistant job to a coaching secondment working with Executives and Directors, a massive career boost for me, successfully beating applicants earning a few times as much money and experience as me for the role.
Happy to hear, Jamie! Thanks for watching.
Best,
Don
AHHHHH!!! You helped me so much with my second interview two weeks ago. Now I'm anxiously waiting the 'yay' or 'nay' call back....I HOPE today is the day!
Did you get it
???
lord of the rings lord or maybe she got the call and started already and so busy that she doesn't have enough time to reply here lol :-D , and bro it happened to me too, I appeared in two interviews in 7 days and nailed em and in the end of second interview which was with the operations manager, she told me that its ok from my side, you are hired, and the h.r dept will call you in 2-e days for all the documentation and formalities.
congrats!
@@DonGeorgevich Thanks Don! Will be recommending your channel to my peers.

Thank you so much, your videos helped me get a second interview, in-person billed for June 30. I had the first interview (video) yesterday with a team of 4 members.
Thanks so much! I watched some of your videos, and I practiced a lot. Got a new job in only one interview! I will get almost double salary of what I am at my current job. Thank you!
Wonderful! best of luck to you
Don, you are awesome. I succeeded in my fist interview only because of your advice. I wish I could have seen your videos before my previous interviews in which I failed. I have my second interview coming up in couple of days. Thanks so much for your help.
I have a job interview tomorrow and your first few words definitely helps me to relax a bit. Thank you!!
Don - I see that this is a year later, but I want to say that I have been trusting your advice and your videos and I rely heavily upon them. Your vids are amazingly human in their approach and I'm grateful.

Super helpful. I have my 2nd interview tomorrow and this calmed me down and helped me focus/prioritize.
I have my first second level interview in 3 hours. Wish me luck.
I’m here because i have a second interview for the second time for the same position but with a different VP next Wednesday! 😂 But this time I’m coming prepared as possible! 🤞🏾
Good luck!!
Wow! I got a second interview, thinking on how I would do the job has been what I've been doing to prepare for it. I've been running through strategies what I would do when i first report to the job, how I will get going on the job and how I would accomplish job deliverables.
Thanks again for all your videos, I do believe it was your insights and ideas that scored me the second interview.
glad to help and best of luck to you.
I have a second interview tomorrow, this video is definitely helping me stay calm and collected. I feel I have a great shot at getting this job. Thank you so much for this video!
Quick update: I ended up getting the job!
Congrats!
Thank you. Every little bit of information helps.
1. It's OK to stumble on your questions (1 or 2), that shows you are a human being, don't worry that much, just move on
2. Make sure you have plans on how you are going to do this job: how you are going to overcome the challenges facing in this position, have a 3-6 months plan to share - no matter it's right or wrong, that shows your are enthusiastic about this job
3. Let them know you understand their problems (challenges, hurdles), repeat it back to them - make sure this message come through the interview
4. Don't just say "I'm a team player", give past examples to show how you have worked with teams to accomplish certain things, put it in context, show them you can lead, teach and share the knowledge - what the company is looking for
5. Be prepared to talk about specific examples from your work - they want to dig deeper your ability to do this job. Instead of telling them "Yes I can do that", tell them "Here's how I have done that before, let me give you an example ... here is a project I've worked on..." to communicate you are extremely qualified and knowledgeable to do this job, remove all the doubts from their minds
6. Imagine you are the interviewer, think of what questions will you ask the candidate to qualify him/ her for the job - those are the questions you should be prepared for. Think of the past experiences and projects you've worked on, (re-)write them down in detail so they are fresh in your mind. In the interview you will have pressure and difficult to quickly remember everything without prep
7. They are going to dig deeper what your plans are for this position (it's a test) - what you think about it, how are you going to do it, what tools/ resources you need, how are you going to overcome certain hurdles...if you can talk about past experiences of how you have been successful, you will put them at ease that you are able to handle similar problems
8. Make sure everything you say is consistent in the 1st and 2nd interview
9. Give them a good, firm handshake and look them in the eyes, smile (also while you are talking - but don't over do it, be natural), show them you are happy to be there
it is okay
Thank you for the great advice! I agree it is so important to focus on the results you can bring to the employer, rather than focusing only on your skills and past experience.
Glad to hear. Thanks for watching!
I got the job! I watched several of your videos and the tips really work. I definitely recommend the videos for a successful interview and job offer!!
congrats
You are awesome Sir. I made a comment on one of your videos and it probably echoed negatively. Most job interviews wouldn't even tell you why you were declined. They will shoot a feedback message to you, telling you they are moving forward with another candidate, even though you did your very best through the interview. As frustrating as this scenario may sound, these self-centered companies are killing more talents than they are acquiring.
many thanks
Excellent value, went in clueless and came out with a master of a plan. Thank you
Glad to
Hi Don - A very valuable series to take a candidate through the interview process.
Glad to help you my friend
I am going for my second interview today. I am super nervous but hoping for the best

Great advise , I was thinking of doing a 90 days plan and send it during or near the end of the interview this confirms that I am not an idiot....I just have to prioritize experiences really great tips mate...I'll you know how he went...
Great tips. I will put them to work soon and look for results.
thank you, I'm having my second interview today
good luck
What if my competition also saw this video?
Hahaha!
Asking real questions we need answers to 😂
well, a five year old can play fur elise correctly, and so does a world class pianist. But playing without any wrong notes doesn't make a five year old as good as the pianist, it's the ways they interpret the piece that make the difference :)
🤣🤣🤣🤣
hahaha
I have my second interview tomorrow, I am so nervous. I normally do well in interviews but my last job interview I made it to the third interview and I thought I had gotten the job. I felt connected well with the interviewers and felt positive about the outcome, but then after that third interview they sent me an email thanking me for my interest and telling me they decided to go with a different candidate, that really killed my self-esteem . I am trying to be positive and confident for tomorrow's third interview.
Thank you your video helped a-lot, I was offered the role and accepted so thank you for your help.
Very helpful information all around. Thank you
Good better best
Never let it rest / until your good is better/ and your better is best
Right on
your presentation is mind-blowing
Thank you! Thank you! Your suggestions and insights really sparked some ideas and examples to bring into my interview! I go in next week, and you have given me confidence that they will hire me!
I have my second job interview in two weeks, and this week I have to do some sort of an assignment beforehand. I’m so excited!! Thanks for the tips and fingers crossed!! :D
