For me, I take Sunday's to prepare for the week, wake up early-ish, do my groceries before the crowds, do all my laundry (including sheets and towels), prepare my lunches for the work week, clean up a little. Then I can relax in the afternoon and during the week I'm much less stressed out and I don't need to run additional errands or do chores after a long work day. Also it's nice waking up with clean sheets on Monday, all my cute outfits are clean and my lunch is ready to go, nothing to really worry about! I need to get in the habit of making my bed! I did this morning, let's see if I can do it all week.
Christina Yes, I agree planners are so fantastic! I like to have a planner and then also a notebook for my daily running lists. I used to have the best planner that had day pages for lists built in. I need to get one of those again!
I really like these tips because it shows that how you start your day off is key. I definitely want to try these and they can all be done first thing in the morning before you start your day. Wake up, make your bed, 7 minute workout, meditate, make a list, get rid of five things, then go forth and conquer
I love that you included meditation! We all need to breathe deeply and clear our minds. I love all of your tips and your voice is also very calm, which makes listening even better when I'm looking for my 'calm.'
I am not very organized & the only list I've ever make are shopping ones but I do try to keep my house decluttered. If buy 2 prs of shoes,I get rid of 2.If I have not used something in 2yrs,it's gone.I also try to throw stuff away every day.It really makes a difference and I don't remember ever regretting anything I've gotten rid of.
defunct32 Well... to be honest nothing. With a toddler, silence is golden! I tend to listen to upbeat music for working out or when I'm being active... but I really like silence for relaxing. For meditation I use a chi activating youtube video that has great sound effects.
Autumn Tolliver It depends on if you are on mobile or desktop, but there should be a little arrow somewhere below the video that allows you to read more info about it. :)
Hey can you please do another video on curling your hair . I have thick hair and wavy i have to flat iron first ugh and pay !25 for them to do it I’m having such a hard time ugh
You know what I liked about this video? Even someone like me who already does some of these regularly got side tips and resources to help them out. Especially the exercise app. There are definitely days when I just can't get in the normal workout time so finding ways to still move in an effective way is great! Really, all 5 tips were great. And I'm adding my name to the planner love list. LOVE my monthly/weekly planner.
I challenge you all to do these five tips every day for at least a week! Let me know how it goes!

All of those are such fantastic habits! Good luck with your bed making this week! :)
I love making lists. I find for me using a planner helps a lot in keeping me motivated, productive, and calm.

Great tips! I was especially excited for the 7 minute app, but apparently it's only for iphone? Maybe there's an equivalent. Love your dress as well!
Sarah10680 Oh I know for a fact there must be. It's such a popular thing.
Will you share the link to your pinterest? I'd love to follow you!
Nikki Elliott Sure, I think it's just Katy Allen... or just click on the little pinterest icon in my header image!

You're so cute! Thank you for the tips
The seven minute app is only good for Apple products. It can't be downloaded to android. :(
