Great video! Is used this to realize I could do a service like this on my goldwing instead of removing g and rebuilding my calliper. Ordered a set of those reverse ring pliers as well.... they should be a game changer!
Cody, great video. Glad I watched it since have to replace front pads on my NC700X
Love watching your videos cause dude you are the professional that shows us numties how to do stuff right
🤘🏻🤘🏻 glad you enjoy it man
great video, thanks for sharing
Very rarely have I had calipers come apart that easily unless I serviced them previously for a customer , I have to say that I’ve worked in Wales and England, and if you don’t ride in bad (rain/snow/ice)weather you don’t ride at all 😂
Haha every now and then I get lucky!
Yo, Cody! Great video.
This was such an impressive short demonstration on how to do a brake service.
So on point and attention to detail cleaning of calipers as well.
I dont know how anyone wouldn't benefit from this video.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge & skills.
Thanks Peter! That is what I was going for. Remove the fluff and you’re left with a solid brake job! Glad you enjoyed it.
Great job, thanks
Thanks for spending the time to view!
thanks for this ..😊
nice vid.. but I would say changing the fluid should go along with pads too.. if you like spirited riding and are using A lot of brakes.. changing brake fluid every year is a must... it lasts a lot longer but it degrades in feel and initial bite power
I would agree for that to be a good rule to follow with a fluid change. 👍🏻
No
Nice work
Thanks for the visit
Perfect help as always. Little bits learnt properly, always last forever. As long as you use it and learn the right way first time. Cheers Cody
Hey Cody it’s joncarlos here! Nice job!
Thank you.
Why you're not using silicone grease for the pistons? Btw good idea to rotate them, I used to take everything apart for cleaning and flushing everything again
I wouldn’t want anything that would allow for grime or dust to adhere to anything outside of the caliper. Clean and dry 👍🏻
Hey Cody Larry here, I've been a subscriber for awhile now, have you had any luck with the aftermarket coils for the v- fours specifically the Honda v65 magna. I think mine need replacing.
This has nothing to do about a Honda but I have a 2004 gsxr 600 and I was trying to figure out what codes it has so I don’t the wire thing on the dealership plug and I stuck it in the wrong holes someone said it could start a fire but I didn’t it just blew the ignition fuse replaced that and now my fuel pump isn’t turning on
Do you have any other NC videos?
Any footage of doing the rear pads? I'm having a hard time with mine. The pads I took off have a different shaped "hook" thing opposite the hole for the pin than the OEM ones and the replacements I bought. I have no idea where to go from there.
If the pads are different shape than you have the wrong one. Rear is easy to do, much easier than the front. I would take the old pads to a Honda dealer and buy the exact same ones.
Hi cody i just got a motorcycle i need help with the carbs please HELP
