It is the best type of filler: It makes sense and isn't there to just take up space. Also it's funny.

If only they kept this DLC in mind when making Andromeda.. Then we would have some truly excellent writing to accompany the freedom they gave us for character advancement

@@StarkSpider24 i dont know that loyalty mission for the black guy sorry i barley remember much of that game it was such a disappointment. Anyway his loyalty mission was freaking hilarious especially if you chose to make it a science camp.
I like how the crew members keep reminding Shepard that he fell through a fish tank.

If only Thane, Legion, and Mordin were alive to see how it truly ends. Ugh, they were the best during Mass Effect 2, but gave their life in Mass Effect 3 for some to have a future.
I do think it’s a huge shame you can’t get Legion here. I’d love to have seen him at the party
I find the idea of the brutally aggressive and sometimes downright dickish renegade commander Shepard having a soft spot for his hamster and fish so wholesome

@@varric maybe it's story, but mea combat is the best this series has seen and you can't change my mind, also the crafting and weapons upgrade system was a lot more fun than anything previous imo
@@goobingtons , the reason why mass effect is so awesome is because of the intruiging characters and amazing story , Andromeda lacks both , if it was just a combat shooter there are plenty of games out there that are better , what draw me in to ME trilogy was the story and character building like most of it fans , and as a fan I would say that MEA is absolute garbage from a game developer who can do 100% more
@@goobingtons I actually enjoy ME3's and 2's combat way more than Andromeda's. I would explain it as "it has more impact". It is like enemies are disconnected from the fire they are receiving.

@FreemanicParacusia I hate when people use that as an excuse. Take Andromeda VS just ME1, the characters from ME1 are still far superior. People have made a best of moments and lines from ME1 and the videos were over an hour long, no way you're doing that with Andromeda. The characters in Andromeda are just boring.
I mean when you replay ME1 neither Garrus or Tali were very interesting yet. They didn’t really get personalities until ME2. Same with Kaiden and Ash, except they didn’t get personalities until ME3.

I learned my dance moves from Shepard.
Basically the entire Citadel DLC was a comedy highlight reel. Pure genius.
Just a heads up, I'll most likely be remaking all my mass effect videos including this one, and maybe adding more once the legendary edition comes out since I'll be replaying the whole trilogy.
Edit: Just wanted to update this comment, I lost temporary access to my account for quite a while, which is way the video wasn't uploaded and but still plan on uploading legendary edition version.

The fact that a "best of" video for a DLC is almost one hour long is kind of saying something about the quality of it. Absolutely loved it, great way to pay tribute to charcters we all grew to love.
This is Bioware storytelling and dialogue at its greatest in my opinion. Fan service done right.

I do love that they gave Mordin, the one squadmate who couldn't be there no matter what, his own little way into the Citadel DLC.

I have been a fan of this series since Mass Effect. It's rare that a game series will make you actually care about a character. The cast of The Mass Effect universe is like no other. I still play the holy trilogy every once in a while. I get to Chronos station, then do the Citadel DLC, and stop. This DLC was my ending, and a damn good one it was
If this DLC was the post ending and the last epilogue mission.. wow

Out of all the characters, squadmates, and just Random Encounters, Mordin Solus has to be my favorite. But I can never bring myself not to cure the genophage to keep him. Mass Effect pulls at your Heartstrings.

There’s a LOT of great humor in this DLC, but 13:58 was the most hilarious moment for me.
"Remember, go for the eye's!" I fucking love this DLC so much! Made me want an entire game that was just made in this Renegade humor fashion with the entire team.

If Legion had been at the party he would have found some way to get audio damage, a damaged filtration unit from alcohol poisoning and sexually transmitted diseases on the platform. A missed opportunity for Bioware.
A shame, he wasn't even mentioned in the DLC, unlike Thane and Mordin.
