If you’re new to my channel, my name is Ben Heath. I’m the founder and owner of heathmedia.co.uk a marketing agency that offers done-for-you services, coaching and educational resources, all with the objective of delivering exceptional marketing results for our clients and customers.

How I got here…
17 yrs old: Started my first business selling wristbands with two school friends. I made $0.
18 yrs old: Started my first ecommerce business selling second hand video games. I made $0.
19 yrs old: Joined a network marketing company (would not recommend it). Was told I’d be rich if I signed up 8 people. I signed up 26 people in 3 months. I made $0.
21 yrs old: Dropped out of Bath University to start an app development company. I made less than $5,000 in 2 years!
23 yrs old: Started Heath Media, my marketing agency. I made $0 for the first 3 years.
26 yrs old: Went all in on building a personal brand within the marketing space. I passed $100k/year.
28 yrs old: My personal brand allowed me to attract the best talent in the world. Heath Media became an industry leading Meta ads agency, with an exceptional team and an excellent reputation. We crossed $1m/year.

I spent $5000 on a "coaching program" that has been "launching ads" for me for the past 3 months and I learned more in 50 mins from you for free. I wasn't getting any clients from said program - turns out they restricted my area to a 6 mile radius bc they are running the same ad in multiple locations near me (southern California).

I want to say thank you very much for your video tutorial on creating FB/IG ads in 2023.
The content was excellently delivered and thanks to you, I feel confident enough to take the plunge and begin my FB/IG ad creation journey. Can you please explain the ad and ad set duplication technique and what you must do in order to be able to test what works and what doesn't work? I think the point you made there was critical (since solid testing is the only way to improve and master) and I don't think I grasped it well enough. What if I am using video ads that are non-duplicable? What do I do then? How do I test? Do video ads cost more? I appreciate all the help and wish you the very best. Thanks a lot.

Hi again, one more question, is it advisable to target audience based on their job titles? For example - a business that sells clothes specifically for people working corporate 9-5 jobs, should I target “HR” “customer support” etc ?
Hey! Quite clear directions! Just need your guidance more on location targeting...Multiple countries possible in a single ad set? I mean can we run in FR, IT, ES? As far I see continent targeting possible, regions as well. Just to find our audience in EU? This much broad targeting is effective? Or we should create ad set as you did per country?

You would probably want to separate those countries out for language reasons.

Ben chose to lead the leads to the company’s website, is it the landing page or what? In what step do you regulate the settings to lead the leads to the page where they directly can sign up? Please answer.
Regarding 33:30. Is there a difference between running:
a $20 ad that's placed on IG and FB at the same time
VS
running a separate $10 FB ad and a separate $10 IG ad?

I have other pages for other businesses, but the one I'm trying to promote I want to keep strictly to instagram. Meta is telling me I need to make a page for it in order to set up ads.

What is the difference when you pay for clicks? What are the pros and cons vs 1000 impressions? And all types of campaigns can pay per click? Thanks for the information! Very useful
There's no difference honestly. Meta just converts the metric so that it's presented different on your bill.
Ben you're a legend! Such a good video! I was wondering if you can help me out with my ads? My ads aren't making sales. My current campaign has 250 clicks (from 4 creatives ) and I've spent about £35. My products are priced at £40 and £80 :( When should I stop running creatives and try a new one?

I think it’s a bit early to start making decisions on there. You have only had a small amount spent on each ad. We usually aim for 3-5 times our target cost per conversion per ad before culling it.

No you don't need to change catagory
Hi Ben, Is it worth setting up a lead or sales campaign with a low budget ie. $100-200 per month? Or does this option only really work for larger budgets? The end goal is to get users to purchase a class from the website.
budget is decided on audience size if you have a low budget don't run the campaign for larger audiences

I previously used Instagram's boost feature to drive traffic to my instagram page which led to sales as my link is in my bio.
Does running ad's through ads manager allow me to drive traffic to my insta page? Or does it take the customer straight to my website?
I guess my goal is to grow my Instagram following and drive up sales.

You can do either from Ads Manager. To replicate the boost campaigns you’ve been doing you can use the engagement objective.

I published my first campaign today using your video, thank you so much. Í created 3 ads under 8 Ad sets (1 video and 2 with pictures) but the video is not having activity (impressions or money spent at all) only the pictures, why is that?

You can create a custom audience from Instagram followers and then exclude that custom audience at the ad set level. I wouldn’t recommend doing so though
