Love the way that thing sings and grips when it's moving around curves. Props to the driver for knowing his car's ability and using it as it should be.
Imagine it with a corsa catback as well. I'd love to have one of these things and make it an NA beast. Port the heads and intake manifold, maybe mill the heads for extra compression and if possible bore it out to like a 5.5 and of course cams if they are available. that would be awesome, would probably make an extra 100hp over stock

The list of cars that sound better than a 350 is really short. In my opinion the new Z06 is not one of them. But let's see what exhaust manufacturers can do to improve it. E90 M3, 458 Speciale, Aventador SVJ, Huayra R, are some that come to mind. I like the LFA but it's not my favorite. E60 M5 and First Gen Gallardo definitely deserves honorable mention. LS7s, LT4s, 812 Ferrari, the new Aston Martin Valkyrie and T50 too. Funny how most of the cars I think sound amazing are not V8s. For race cars nothing really beats a mid 90s nascar or 2000s V10 F1 cars or a 4 rotor 787b

Well reliability believe or not is not bad on these. In the beginning they had some that had design flaws but were all fixed under warranty. I haven’t seen any issues recently on any gt350s that weren’t the owners fault.
they are reliable, but people who buy them drive them like this, high rpm is where these are happy naturally one with more than 60k miles isnt going to be super healthy.

I track my cars and one of them is a 5.0 with 66k on it. Fbo cj manifold I’m shifting between 7500-8000 all day long. If you change oil and all the fluids and maintenance based on how you use it and know how to drive it without damaging the drivetrain it’ll last over 100k I bet. Did a compression test on my car not to long ago and it came back perfect. I also daily drive it.

The 500 is the top tier mustang aimed for wealthy dudes who don't really know how to drive, that's why it's automatic and thats why it's heavy as shit compared to the 350. The 350 can get similar or better track times than the 500 on certain courses. 350 is corner car, 500 is straight line car. I hope I don't have to explain this any further for you to understand
@@winsome879 dct would work only if you gave it paddle shifting to fully control each gear. As a track car you have to hold certain gears for a certain amount of time in certain situations, which an automatic is obviously not going to be very good at but a dct with manual shifting via paddles could possibly work but at that point it raises the price closer to 500 price range which is why Ford did what they did. They needed an affordable car between gt/mach1 and gt500 with a true purpose and not just straight line speed. If you supercharge a gt350 it will be faster around thebtrack than a gt500, even if it's making less HP
