Your bilge pump Joe, it looks like you've got the sensor in the horizontal position, this is why it pulses, the sensor should be vertical so the water hits the bottom point, but doesn't create the circuit 'till it also hits the top point - I've got the same one under my step and had all sorts of trouble with it 'till I changed the orientation of the sensor, now it works well. Hope you have a good week.
Great overhead shots, we have such beautiful countryside everywhere.
Keep boating ❤
As a kid I used to top up my pocket money in the holidays opening that swing bridge for boats, 10p a time if I remember right (it was the mid seventies!). I grew up in Pitstone so I’ve been watching the recent vids with extra interest.
Trouble in a lock, nonsensical swing bridge, foreign travel & Danni in the boat, nice vlog guys. Oh Joe your steak sarnie looked great & sent me straight to the kitchen oh well the diet can wait.!!😀
Nice Doc Holiday look. No I mean it. "I'll be your huckle berry " P.S. swing bridges use-ta be left closed to the road or path and the boats had the right of way. Hence the moorings are on the wrong side now.
Lovely vlog, you have to be nimble to get in to all those awkward places to do repairs. Good job you're young and fit Joe. You work really well as a couple together 💖
Like the sound track used Joe, Swing bridge etc👍🏼😎
Hey guys glad you had a great time away .
You should be really proud of yourselves how you are both working round everything and spending time together 🎉
Was it just me who was surprised when the roll of tape DIDN'T fall in?!😂😂
I was watching that drill and Stanley Knife when Joe had them on the engine bay cover while he re-did the seal taping 😅. Could have been another wedding ring moment 😂😂
@@paulcharleton3208 😂
Nice vlog :)
Did the fender chain snap on a weak link (one that had been previously sawed though?). Might be worth sawing though a link so that it will fail under load next time.

Without the lovely Danni we didn't get beer of the week, bring back danni :)
Nice to see Danni back again
I love your videos. They always chill me out.
Are you on the grand union aylesbury arm 29/05?

Joe rustling around with that tape while Danni was just happily chatting away is so funny 😂

No greens in the steak sandwich 😏
Sorry but dos your wee look that colour tho. sorry i had to ask ,
Well done Boy as my uncle Pat would say ow be e 👍
DUDE! I had exactly the same problem as a solo boater at the same bridge TODAY!!… wtffff is that all about? Makes no sense!!!!
Hi Joe
As for your journeys on the continent you guys are going to have to check out Slovenia. It is just incredible and the food is amazing. The people are really friendly as well.
Take care guys.

I have watched your earlier videos and really have to give you a thumbs up. I don't know if I could have done what you have accomplished on your boat. It's great to see the progress into a real home. I look forward to seeing more adventures in the future. Cheers 😊👍🍻
🏴
Hi Joe, Good watch. I noticed you have a large rolling water storage container on your bow. Do you fill the container and fill your water from that position. Does it work? Is your water hole on the floor or on the side?? CheersXx
Nice cruise by shot!
Still loving these. 👍🏼
I’m 69966 hi!!
Nice to see dani back on the boat,,,
Random question Joe but where did you get your glasses frames from. Due a new pair and think they might suit me. Thanks for the content.
The old girl is still smoking, blue smoke is a sign of a worn engine, the sooner you get your replacement engine fitted the better, keep up the great videos, 😂👍
👍
Joe you could take Danni on the eurrail, they've started night sleepers Amsterdam to Berlin Brussels to Austria
Is Danni working away permanently or just temporary 🤔
Hi Joe and Danni lovely to see her again, she looked so sad leaving, glad you had a few days away, it looked good. Have great week 😊
Have you thought about getting the people who make the covers to make a heavy duty cover for your bikes ?
I think you should down load a speedo app on your phone and see if you can do 4mph on the canals I think you would be surprised I was
Great vlog on your own Joe, loved the sound track at the swing bridge and the drone footage is great
Love the vid's as always from you guys, so chill, definitely a vibe on a Sunday afternoon beer in hand watching you guys mooch about. Whats the soundtrack you used?
Shazam is your friend at times like this. Never wonder what a track or record is ever again.....
steak sandwich, the commoners meal lol. Hipsters
Swing bridges are designed for horses! They nearly always swing from the opposite side to the towpath so that the horse could pull the boat along. Makes sense for that time.
There’s only one like this on the entire K&A that I know of, the rest have landings in the right place (whether these were rebuilt after I dont know)
Yumm AG1 is literally my fave!
Well done Joe. Lovely video 👍
What a lovely area.
Xx

Too many narrowboats on the canals, too many locks and not enough freedom to do what you want... This is what would get me down in this way of life. Plus narrowboats are expensive to buy and mooring are expensive too. Van life gives more freedom for your money imo.
