She is a force of nature! Only 17 yrs old at this recording. She only takes on the toughest guitar solos of all time. She out shreds the shredders, out taps the best tappers, all while looking bored and chewing gum. A phenom, a Prodigy, Tina S., from France.
There are good musicians, then there are those who have talent, there are virtuosos who master an instrument, a score, there are pridiges. and above those, there are those who are unclassifiable, of which Tina Setkic is a part just like Beethoven. The third movement of the Moonlight Sonata is a technical tornado that doesn't intimidate Tina Setkic! Her interpretation of "for the love of god" speaks volumes about her abilities as well as the message she wants to convey. Undoubtedly, it is a remarkable being also for her beliefs. Huge respect.
Welcome to the Tina S club. Her cover of Vai's 'For the Love of God' is my next favorite, but you really can't go wrong with any of her videos. She has the rare gift of being able to deliver emotion through the guitar. Combine that with her technical ability, years of practice, and her own style and she's a joy to watch/listen to. just amazing.
I play guitar. She plays guitar. The difference in ability between her and I might as well be magic. I’m not putting myself down. You can hardly call it the same thing. I play guitar and she’s mastered guitar? That still doesn’t express it. The whole of her ability is greater than the sum of its parts. Have you heard the term “emergent quality”? It means that all together, something gains a quality that no single part of it has. Great musicians turn notes into landscapes. Realities that rise up,and fade away.
_“And on the seventh day God ended His work with the creation of Tina S, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He created the most amazing guitarist of the Universe.”_
she was a you tube sensation. She's 16 or 17 here. She covers alsorts inluding steve vai. Then, all of a sudden, she dropped off the face of the earth. I believe she gave it all up to concentrate on University...and get away from Trolls...think she had a 100,000,000 followers
That is what I would call- God given talent, dedication, practice and the memory of 25 elephants. But what I like most is at times it looks like she’s thinking about what to have for dinner.
If you listen to her other stuff you will see, as a guitarist, she has no weakness whatsoever. I recommend her cover of steve vai's "for the love of god" for futher listening
your reaction is the typical reaction, jaw dropping and speechless, it's hard to describe talent like that, she defies logic. that was one take, and perfect.
And this was the last upload from Tina S. Nothing have been heard from her since. We all hope she's ok and hopefully return with more of her amazing skills on the guitar.
I knew you would flip out over this performance...when you finally got to it. She was a guitar prodigy with unlimited potential...and then she disappeared.
I love metal versions of classical music! Is it still a cover if it's classical? Incidentally, that was probably much closer to the tempo Beethoven wrote it in.
It is always amazing to see a master at work.

Yes, listen to more of her!
She is the Jeanne D'Arc of guitar-shred ;-)
If the sky is the limit, she left outer space.
Kimi's mind is officially blown! 🤭🤭🤭
KEMI
I think Ludwig would be proud.
She does a beautiful version of The LONER by Gary Moore with a green guitar sends chills up my spine incredible 🔥🔥🔥

Beethoven Moonlight Sonata "Presto Agitato" Magnifico 👍👍👍😊😊
Watch her play, The Loner. she is just as good at slow playing.
She is most definitely a gift from God. In my opinion

I knew you'd enjoy Tina S! It's not often that you're left gobsmacked, but that makes it even more real! Peace!!☮
The very words out of my big gob when I saw this were “ hang on to your shorts hun”

Tina has more skill and talent in a drop of sweat for guitar work than I have in my whole body.
Now ask her to play it *fast*!
so many incredibly talented people 🔥🔥

Hey, you should check out Tina Setkic Dragon Force through the fire and the flames cover at 15, years old, awesome 👌
Tina S is a French girl who was 17 yrs old when she recorded this video, she dropped out of public view a few years ago
One of the best comments I've read about this video is "Tina is what happens when God wants to show off".
Musical prodigy 🕊
Try her covers of Arpeggios From Hell, Gary Moore's "Loner", For the love of God, Through the Fire and Flames, and Altitudes of Jason Becker.
I, like others that have suggested, would next do Tina S. covering Steve Vai - For the Love of God, then onto Jason Becker - Altitudes.
You reaction is what many of us have ...
holy moly angelina jolie! ive got blisters on my eardrums
😲😲😲

You have to listen to For the Love of God! I think it's better than the original.

Look at her cover of Steve Vai’s song: For the love of god. Epic.
I use to throw beer bottles at that kind o music
I think Matt Ratch started this with Canon Rock several years ago. No denying she's not good. Check out Matt Ratch.
