Glad I had my first experience on a PC, this is extremely, extremely rough on those old gen consoles, holy moly. Stuff was, everything considered, a pretty solid game on PC even with what, Version 1.1 or 1.2
As someone who played it at launch on PC with the day-one patches, it wasn't EVEN CLOSE to this bad for me. I had maybe 1/10th the bugs seen here, performance was butter smooth, the game looked great, and I had a lot of fun playing it. Recently got back in with 2.1, and while it's definitely improved, most of the good things were already there at launch. Most of what they've done is fix the things that, when done right, blend into the background and "just work." The absolutely gorgeous world, colorful story, and ridiculous cyber-ninja combat were all there (mostly) intact before. Not to mention my main cutie Judy. But yeah, good lord. I can understand how anyone on PS4 or XBone (which was even worse) would be absolutely apoplectic with rage over THIS experience.
If they released the 2.0 version at launch on just PS5 and XSX it would have been considered one of the best games ever. Greed ruined their reputation 🤷♂️
I picked it up at 1.6 or so by which point the most egregious stuff had been fixed, but I could tell after a few hours it still wasn't quite finished as a lot of small things were just off. Man this game was so bad at launch. Imagine if it was released as 2.0 version we have now alongside the Phantom Liverty teased for the future. Game would have had a legendary launch similar to BG3. Hope CDPR takes this to heart and realizes a fully polished game is better than fixing it as I still know people who are salty on it and wont give it another go. Game is insanely good nowadays.
I picked this up at 2.0 but didn't start playing until 2.1 released. It's crazy where the game was compared to whare it is now. Such a shame of how things went but very grateful they pushed thru and fixed most of it. It still needs some work but it's def worth picking up now imo.

Thank god I waited a little over a year to play this game, I’m really enjoying the hell out of it and In 80+ hours I’ve put in I’ve only experienced one bug. It’s a really good game with a great story, too bad the majority of people who played this game had to play this version lol.
Apparently no one played it this version is the 1.00 so the game before the day1 patch , so the 1.01 is just trying to limit all the bugs and glitches (the main ones in console , and some few ones in pc)

Glad I had my first experience on a PC, this is extremely, extremely rough on those old gen consoles, holy moly.
Like, sadly I was very much into the Cyberpunk hypetrain and was expecting so much from it, so naturally the disappointment was still there but I ended up enjoying it and even finishing it later down the line.
And the best experience of PC.@EdwardHogtumor

I picked it up at 1.6 or so by which point the most egregious stuff had been fixed, but I could tell after a few hours it still wasn't quite finished as a lot of small things were just off. I waited until 2.0 to get into it in earnest, which was absolutely the right move. Really fantastic game at this point, especially with mods.
You made the right move. Got mine on PC close to release and i mostly hated it. Picked it up again with the DLC and it's fucking great now. Even runs amazing on a damned handheld PC.

Bare in mind whilst watching this that this is version of the game took 9 years to complete and was delayed about half a year. What the absolute fuck were the developers doing in those years because after 9 years surely characters should at least have a walk cycle so they don’t usually just hover over the ground
