empathy isn't wishing for others, or treating others, like you would like for yourself. it's listening and respecting and accomodating their wishes and needs.
wow another genius talk! its like everyone is a combination of light and darkness and you are trying to find the light in them. this idea is the opposite of pandoras box. like if you really knew how to open this box you could make a difference in your life and everybody elses. we will meditate on this idea 'treat all as sacred' and take steps to learn how to see the light in others! thank you so much!
This One HIT me, especially considering the semi-unfortunate state of the world, society, and today's generation. Empathy is definitely something that is 'becoming lost' amongst everyone as well as the way that people used to consider looking at both sides and creating an objective resolution or thought to move forward when now people just choose a side (sometimes to remain uncontroversial or because it's popular) and just preach that the other side is the enemy without given taking a minute to maybe empathize and understand what may have made that other side think differently. In comparison to when I was growing up, to me, kindness seems to be the best way forward cause the the main difference between being good, nice, and kind tends to be the Self-Respect you have for yourself because unfortunately a lot people tend to be taken advantage of for being good (or nice) no matter what and sometimes that goodness may evolve into more or a negative than positive (even though everything good/nice is primarily done in objective good intention). In this day and age, I pray that people are more cautious yet find that balance between not compromising and having Self-Respect when asked or told to do something compromising that is masqueraded as something that is Good🙏🏿. Also...you are cool (might I say GUCCI) for not having tattoos!💪🏿
Liza, this is my first time watching one of your videos and I think that you are so wise. I have been an “empath” prettu much my whole life, but you made me understand much more about empathy, thank you for that. Don’t stop making videos, I can see you growing a lot in the future because you are so inspiring
4:55 we should organize a symposium.. *BUDDHISM can be: 1 spiritual discipline (practices for the health of the spirit), 2 philosophy (ideas of reality), 3 religion (doctrine for the salvation of the soul - *they don't question about god); *DAEMON (greek 'divine being' - common indoeur. root: 'div'=to shine) come from eastern cultures, in the ancient west was the intermediate being between man and divinity (plato describes it as a part of the soul, assigned to us at birth > republic ch. 10); it looks like freud's ID (oldest province of our psyche) -as you said, colored threads connect all
(sorry for my english, my native language is spanish) There are a couple of videos in UA-cam of a talkshow that broadcasted here in Spain in the 90's, called: " Trece Noches - Jesus Quintero y Antonio Gala " . I don't know if there's any other platform where you can see the entire show. I know subtitles are boring and sometimes not accurate, but it is the most wise and refreshing conversation about the nature of life, and the limitations that we as humans tend to impose, which end up complicating the most simple and joyful experiences. I've had a hard time with a lot of existential doubts, feeling lost is no joke, but it is a sign of a curious, healthy mind, a pro-active one. Just be easy on it, our brain also deserves rest and knowing it's worth for all the work. Hope it helps. 💪🏼☀🦋
I am having a hard time telling my crush that I like her, and I think she has a boyfriend already but I am not quite sure. How do I find out without being awkward. I need some unbiased advice. The problem is that we see each other only once a week at sport. I would also be happy to just have her as a good friend. Thanks for any advice!
Namaste 🙏 "The kingdom of God is within you" - Jesus. I love how you connect Sufism, Rastafari, Hinduism, and Christianity in one video A good person is like a good song - certain attributes which resonate with you can tell you how you feel about it, but at the end of the day it's still (i hope) a genuine expression of life, and any egoic judgements about it are just a reflection of your Self
I was raised as a Buddhist but I converted as a Christian later. Buddhism is not a religion it’s a philosophy though in Sri Lanka where I’m from old generation heavily treats it as religion. The spiritual battle is so real. All my life I only learned about Buddhism so I still struggle with my old beliefs. I feel lost but I know there’s a god. I’ve felt god’s presence but some things are too complicated for our humans minds.
If monotheism makes sense to you I found it a lot less confusing to ground these values based on the Quran than the Bible but dive into both to compare and reevaluate. A lot clearer in my opinion especially if you feel lost. The base is similar just with less space for confusion.

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
Not everyone should be afforded this grace. Most people sure but not everyone

Thank you!
I know the value of mutual respect and i can't be a people pleaser. If it works for you, then go for it.
She is not talking about people pleasing though...
Will you harm others to help yourself? Would you harm yourself to help others? These are the only two questions i need to ask a person.
You are right love u 💚
Thanks for sharing ✌
Anybody you meet in the street could be the Buddha. Even someone like you.

Go for it bro think less
Akward is subjective, just communicate clearly. Better get rejected quickly than waste your time wondering.
thats how we are supposed to be in the beginning

A Good Person is a Person who has relationship with God and Obeys Him and Fears Him only.
Who loves God and Love others.
True on paper but you can’t know if their outward actions and inward sincerity is in harmony to judge their goodness based on your definition.
To Fear God you need intuition , 99% of the population are sensory people who prefer their brain not Gods philosophy .
💛❤️☀️🌷
