Apart from sheer talent, I think what Queen had was a rare respect for their audience. Unlike a great many other bands, they knew that without their audience, their fans, they had nothing, and always treated us accordingly. Thank you Queen, a brilliant band; the best of everything in one package.

Apart from sheer talent, I think what Queen had was a rare respect for their audience. Unlike a great many other bands, they knew that without their audience, their fans, they had nothing, and always treated us accordingly. Thank you Queen, a brilliant band; the best of everything in one package.

You know it's weird. We never met Freddie, most of us anyway, but we somehow feel we know him. Every time I watch this I feel so close to him. I watched it in 1985 when I was 15 and felt the same way. Freddie was special. Tears are streaming down my face for him. Pure love

He died young, he lived his life to the full and he crammed in an amazing amount of music. More than most people could in five lifetimes. What a brave and courageous man.
