King at the great Britt Music Festival in Jacksonville, Or. years ago..a night I'll never forget. I saw EC at the SF Cow Palace in the 70's, and so many more. This was REAL music, with real heart and soul. These few are the real music geniuses of all TIME!!!!! Add in Stevie Ray Vaughn, et. al., and sit back and disappear into the cloud of beauty!

B. King. But I still miss SRV, Duwane Allman, and of course Jimmy Hindrix. Blues musicians have a way of flowing through our soul like no other! #RIP

Some great producers should have taken him aside and said "it's time for a hard blues record, Eric - just you on guitar, and some heavy hitters with big reps for sidemen - now, before you die. Don't let plapp like "No Reason to Cry" and other junk records be your final epitaph. Make one last great statement besides the Dominos album. Please!"

Albert Collins passed away about 5 months after this performance. Buddy Guy is one of the last of the "dyed-in-the-wool" bluesmen left standing.
I have to say that Clapton is a real blues musician. Age has little to do with it. He is Slowhand for a very good reason.
I love Albert' s playing. You've heard the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words". Well, with Albert, there is a thousand words In one note!
